In just over a year, we've grown 10x, raised a $20M Series A, and become the pre-litigation partner of choice for top personal injury firms across the country. We believe the best outcomes happen when expert operators and purpose-built AI work together – which is why we handle every step of pre-lit, from intake and claim opening to medical records, lien management, and demands, with humans leading every case.
We’re backed by Sequoia, Redpoint, and the founders & CEOs of generational companies like DoorDash, Ironclad, and Digits. We’re rebuilding how the law serves everyday Americans from first principles, and we’re hiring exceptional operators to help us scale it nationwide.

- Have 5+ years in client-facing intake or sales roles, ideally in personal injury legal services.
- Are an excellent communicator who can build trust quickly.
- Stay calm and focused under pressure.
- Are comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Head of Data
Crosby · New York City, New York, United States

ABOUT CROSBY
Crosby is built on a simple conviction: a great legal system is the watermark of a great society — and the best legal work comes from combining human expertise with the right technology, not replacing one with the other.
Crosby is the first AI-native law firm, helping ambitious companies like Cursor, Ramp, and Cognition sign commercial contracts faster.
Legal work is both art and science, and we're mapping the frontier between the two — codifying what can be systematized, amplifying human judgment where it matters most. That's why the right way to bring AI into law isn't to sell software and walk away. It's to own the outcome together: higher-quality work, delivered faster. We build proprietary tools and human-in-the-loop workflows that change what's possible for corporate legal teams.
Crosby was founded by Ryan (Stanford Law, Cooley, startup GC) and John (Penn, first 15 engineers at Ramp). Help us transform one of society's most important industries.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Head of Data at Crosby, you'll play a critical role in defining and leading our data strategy across the company. You’ll be responsible for building the systems, pipelines, and teams that power our AI models, product analytics, and decision-making infrastructure.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure we are leveraging data as a core competitive advantage — from improving model performance to driving business insights. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, requiring both technical depth and strong leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Own data strategy: Define and execute Crosby’s data strategy across ML, analytics, and infrastructure.
2. Build and scale data systems: Design and implement robust data pipelines, storage systems, and tooling to support both product and modeling needs.
3. Enable AI performance: Partner closely with ML and engineering teams to improve data quality, labeling systems, and feedback loops that drive model performance.
4. Drive analytics and insights: Establish metrics, dashboards, and analytical frameworks to support product, business, and operational decision-making.
5. Lead and grow the team: Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing data team across data science, analytics, and data engineering.
6. Ensure data quality and governance: Build systems and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization.
WHO YOU ARE
1. 8+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics, with experience leading or managing teams
2. Strong technical foundation in data systems, including experience with data pipelines, warehousing, and large-scale data processing
3. Experience working closely with machine learning teams and understanding the data needs of ML systems
4. Proven ability to define metrics, build analytical frameworks, and drive data-informed decision-making
5. Strong leadership skills with experience building and scaling teams in fast-paced environments
6. Excellent communicator who can work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
7. Highly organized, pragmatic, and motivated to build systems that drive real-world impact
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
Crosby is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, reproductive health decisions, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, genetic information, political views or activity, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
Background checks for applicants will be administered in accordance with applicable law, and qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment consistent with those laws, including the New York City Fair Chance Act.
Pursuant to New York Labor Law Section 194-b, the US Pay Range for this position is listed in the job post. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

About Safari AI
Safari AI's vision is to Automate Action of the leading companies in the physical economy, from Entertainment, Live Venues, QSR's, Retail and beyond. The company uses computer vision AI to Measure, Alert and provide AI-generated Recommendations at the operations of leading enterprises such as Merlin/Legoland, 7-11, Tanger Outlets, Charlotte Hornets, Tennessee Titans, and more.
Leadership & Culture
Safari AI is founded by Ali Vahabzadeh, who has a meaningful exit under his belt and has managed large, high-performing Go To Market and Engineering teams. The company is headquartered in Miami with the Engineering team co-located in Vancouver.
About You And How You Succeed At Safari AI
You're excited to build a product and invent a market that hasn't existed before. You read documentation first and are not afraid to ask for help when uncertain. You're looking to take ownership/run a singular project and take advantage of the freedom and culture an early stage startup can provide. You are looking to see through the fluff of the modern AI landscape and explore new ways of achieving measurable ROI. Enjoy a small team size ~10, project team of 1-3.
About the Role
Our computer vision platform turns existing camera infrastructure into real-time operational intelligence for large venues such as stadiums, airports, theme parks, casinos, and smart infrastructure.
As Safari AI expands beyond founder-led sales, we are building a Strategic Partnerships function to accelerate distribution through the ecosystems already embedded in these environments — including video management systems, camera manufacturers, system integrators, ticketing platforms, venue operators, smart infrastructure providers, consulting firms, PE and infrastructure investors, and architecture and engineering firms.
What You'll Do
Build the Partnership Ecosystem
Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships across the venue and infrastructure ecosystem. Create distribution through joint go-to-market motions, technology integrations, referral pipelines, co-selling, and strategic introductions into owner, operator, and investor networks.
Drive Strategic Integrations
Work with Safari AI product and engineering teams to identify integration opportunities — VMS platforms, infrastructure systems, venue operations tools — that reduce deployment friction and increase product value.
Build Repeatable Playbooks
Develop frameworks for partner onboarding, co-marketing, joint sales strategies, and referral motions across both technical and professional partners.
Shape Early-Stage Influence
Build relationships with consulting firms, PE and infrastructure funds, and architecture and engineering firms that influence capital allocation, technology selection, and venue design before an end customer formally enters a buying process.
Requirements
• 4+ years in strategic partnerships, alliances, or ecosystem development
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology and services ecosystems
• Experience with system integrators, infrastructure technology, enterprise software, or professional services firms
• Ability to engage both technical teams (integrations, platform strategy) and non-technical stakeholders (consultants, investors, operators)
• Entrepreneurial mindset suited to an early-stage startup
• Strong executive-level communication skills
Experience in sports venues, infrastructure technology, smart buildings, security technology, consulting, infrastructure investing, architecture, engineering, or enterprise SaaS is a plus.
What Safari AI Offers
• Shape the ecosystem strategy of an emerging Vision AI company
• Direct collaboration with founders and senior leadership
• Competitive salary and meaningful early-stage equity
• Unlimited vacation, comprehensive health benefits, and 401k
Why bet on Computer Vision and Safari AI?
Huge opportunity hiding in plain sight: leveraging already-installed cameras to automate and real-time action on operational data
Already the market leader in enterprise CV by working with industry leaders with billions in revenue
Large chasm between customer knowledge and market availability, i.e. customers don't know what is available in the market...yet.
Early leader in computer vision; everyone is small and unbranded (i.e. no Amazon or Google in the room to compete with)
Very modular, allowing Safari AI and its customers to invent whole new use cases on a regular basis
Developed the tech and data pipelines over three years and invested several million dollars and is now ready to scale

Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models.

Growth paths: Joining ElevenLabs means joining a dynamic team with countless opportunities to drive impact - beyond your immediate role and responsibilities.

Social travel: We also provide an annual discretionary stipend to meet up with colleagues each year, however you choose.
Annual company offsite: Each year, we bring the entire team together in a new location - past offsites have included Croatia and Italy.
Co-working: If you’re not located near one of our main hubs, we offer a monthly co-working stipend.
About the Role

Maintain contract records and reporting through our CLM systems and DocuSign.
Coordinate commercial legal assignments by acting as an administrator for the legal team’s ticketing system through Ironclad
Support contract negotiations and assist with template/playbook updates.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during contract review, acting as a key contact for the legal department by providing guidance on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, policies, questions, etc.
Support the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing use of new tools and products.
Assist, on an as-needed basis, with corporate and IP filings, including maintaining records for U.S. and international subsidiaries (such as board minutes, resolutions, signatory updates).
Participate in special projects including corporate diligence, litigation matters, and compliance rollouts.
Who you are:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive - you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Genuinely interested in the future of AI and emerging technologies, bringing curiosity and enthusiasm to your role.
A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn the nuances of AI/SaaS contracting.
Comfortable working independently in a distributed, high-trust environment.

Experience supporting GTM/Sales organizations with complex legal requests.
Strong understanding of contract management and corporate governance.
Experience supporting international entities and global teams.
Familiarity with SaaS/AI contracting considerations is a plus.
Proficiency with CLM tools (Ironclad, Salesforce, Asana, DocuSign) or similar systems.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
