Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We're looking for a Staff Data Analyst to be the senior analytical partner to our Marketing organization. You'll define how Marketing understands its own performance, influence investment decisions at the leadership level, and shape the data foundations that underpin our AI and automation capabilities. Sitting within our centralized analytics function, you'll work closely with Growth Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering bringing strategic thinking, deep marketing expertise, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations that move the business forward.
How we’re using AI today
On the Marketing team, we’re growing our AI capability together and redesigning how work gets done. We’ve built agents to improve workflows focused on competitive intelligence, content creation, and campaign planning, helping us stay sharp, reduce context-switching, and surface the right information at the right time. AI helps us coordinate, execute, and uncover insights faster so we can spend more time on what’s most important: performance, judgement, and driving the future of 1Password.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
7+ years in marketing analytics and data strategy within complex B2B SaaS environments
Deep marketing domain expertise, including attribution, funnel analysis, forecasting, KPI development, and lifecycle measurement
Proven experience partnering directly with senior marketing leaders and executive stakeholders
Experience leading attribution modernization or marketing measurement transformation initiatives
Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics, statistical modeling, or predictive techniques in a business context
Advanced SQL and strong experience with large-scale analytical datasets
Hands-on experience with modern AI/BI tools (Hex, Omni, Claude, Dust, or similar)
Comfort in modern cloud data ecosystems: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt
Experience working with Marketing and GTM platforms: Salesforce, Marketo, GA4, and related martech
What you can expect:
A greenfield opportunity to shape the data foundations, measurement frameworks, and analytical standards that Marketing and 1Password's broader AI capabilities will depend on
Deep partnership with Marketing leadership across planning cycles, investment decisions, and performance measurement
Ownership of complex marketing domain work across attribution, funnel measurement, forecasting, and lifecycle analysis in a fast-moving SaaS environment
A seat at the forefront of how AI gets applied in Marketing analytics, building the trusted, governed data foundations that every AI initiative will depend on
Cross-functional partnership across Marketing, Finance, RevOps, Product, and Data teams with the opportunity to mentor analysts and raise the bar on analytical standards
An environment where there's a lot to build and your fingerprints will be on it. This is a role for someone who thrives with ownership and ambiguity, not a playbook to follow
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $149,000 USD and $216,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $131,000 CAD and $175,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.

Senior Business Systems Analyst, Enterprise Planning (Pigment)
Remote - United States
Apply
Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We're looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst, Enterprise Planning to own our Pigment EPM platform. Oura is mid-implementation of Pigment as our unified planning system-of-record, replacing fragmented spreadsheets across FP&A and Supply Chain. This is a hands-on techno-functional role at the intersection of Finance, FP&A, Supply Chain, and IT — and the internal center of gravity for everything Pigment.
You'll partner directly with FP&A and Supply Chain business owners, the Enterprise Architecture team, and Business Technology leadership. You'll be the connective layer between business planning logic and the Pigment data model
What You'll Do
Own the platform – Serve as Oura's primary Pigment administrator: user provisioning, RBAC, SSO/SCIM integration, and quarterly access reviews. Manage the full model lifecycle from design and configuration through testing, deployment, and change management.
Build and maintain models – Configure and evolve Pigment models across FP&A modules (Revenue, OpEx/CapEx, Headcount, COGS, 3-Statement) and Supply Chain (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP). Maintain driver-based logic, KPI calculations, scenarios, and approval workflows.
Manage data integration – Coordinate with the EA/Data team to operate and troubleshoot data pipelines between NetSuite, Databricks/Fivetran, S3, and Pigment. Maintain the data dictionary, schema documentation, and field mapping registry in line with EA standards.
Lead change governance – Run the Pigment Change Control Board (CCB) process for Tier 2/3 changes, including risk tiering, impact assessment, approvals, and release notes. Maintain audit trail integrity aligned to Oura's SOX readiness requirements.
Partner with the business – Act as the escalation point for Pigment issues from FP&A and Supply Chain. Translate evolving planning requirements into model enhancements. Facilitate design reviews and sign-off sessions; support UAT across modules.
Enable users – Build role-based training paths, internal runbooks, and model documentation in Confluence. Drive end-user adoption and self-service to reduce routine IT dependency.
Continuously improve – Stay current on Pigment's roadmap, advocate for relevant enhancements, and identify opportunities to expand capabilities — including AI-powered features, new modules, and additional data connections.
What We're Looking For
7+ years in finance systems, EPM platforms, or FP&A technology roles; 2+ years directly administering or modeling in Pigment, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Planful, or equivalent
Hands-on Pigment model-building and admin experience strongly preferred; strong Anaplan Model Builder experience considered
Solid understanding of FP&A processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, headcount planning, OpEx/CapEx, revenue planning, and 3-statement modeling
Familiarity with Supply Chain planning concepts — demand forecasting, supply constraints, inventory targets, and S&OP
Working knowledge of data integration patterns: API, flat file/S3, ETL/iPaaS (Workato or similar), and data warehouse connections (Databricks, Snowflake, or similar)
Experience with NetSuite or another ERP as a source for planning tools — GL mappings, cost centers, departmental hierarchies, and actuals data flows
Understanding of RBAC, access governance, and audit trail requirements in a SOX-relevant or pre-IPO environment
Strong documentation discipline: design specs, runbooks, change records, and user guides in Confluence, Jira, and Miro
Excellent stakeholder management — comfortable partnering with FP&A, Supply Chain, and IT simultaneously
Proactive, bias-for-action mindset; comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving team
Nice to Have
Pigment Academy certifications (Modeler, Admin, or Power User)
Anaplan Solution Architect or Model Builder certification
Experience implementing Pigment with a consulting partner (Twelve, Argano, or similar)
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Fivetran, or AWS S3 in a planning data pipeline
Familiarity with GAAP, SOX ITGC, and financial controls relevant to planning systems
Experience building executive-facing dashboards and board-ready reporting views
Background supporting a hybrid hardware + SaaS business with multi-entity, multi-currency planning complexity

Why are you being asked to complete this form?
We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. THE 4 BIGGEST BLOCKCHAIN STRENGTHS ARE ALSO ITS WEAKNESS
- Permissionless nature leads to fragmentation of meaning
- Decentralization leads to too many standards https://xkcd.com/927/
- Immutability leads to exponential data + query infrastructure complexity
- Neutrality means that no one is accountable for interpretations
Blockchain data is public. It is not usable at institutional scale. Despite being open, blockchain data is fragmented, hard to interpret, and painful to maintain. Even a simple question like “Who are the largest Ethereum token holders over time?” can require running nodes, ingesting full chain history, decoding contracts, cleaning edge cases, and writing complex SQL.
BLOCKCHAINS ARE OPTIMIZED FOR WRITES, NOT READS.
They are built for consensus and execution, not searchability, standardization, or financial interpretation. Blockchains are computers, not databases https://x.com/Tim_Roughgarden/status/1512847113599729668. Every protocol defines its own schema. The same economic action can be encoded in dozens of different ways. The result:
- Fragmented standards
- Exponential complexity
- No accountability for interpretation
- Events without economic meaning
Finance cannot operate on that, it needs an effective system of record.
ALLIUM IS BUILDING THE SYSTEM OF RECORD FOR ONCHAIN FINANCE
Allium ingests, verifies, and standardizes data across 140+ blockchains and 30+ petabytes of history. We close four structural gaps that prevent blockchains from becoming systems of record:
- Semantic Gap: Translating raw events into financial concepts like payments, trades, deposits, and staking income
- Standardization Gap: Mapping thousands of protocols into a single canonical cross chain schema
- Infrastructure Gap: Read optimized, globally distributed data at web scale
- Accountability Gap: Auditable methodology, SLAs, and SOC 1 and 2 compliance
The result is a neutral, canonical data layer institutions can build on with confidence.
FINANCE IS MOVING ONCHAIN
Stablecoins, tokenized assets, trading, staking, and lending are growing rapidly. Institutions need a trusted source of truth for onchain financial activity, just as they rely on Bloomberg or DTCC in traditional markets. Raw blockchains cannot serve that role.
As AI agents begin transacting autonomously https://x.com/AlliumLabs/status/2019810793324482901?s=20, the requirement becomes even stricter. Agents cannot reason over raw event logs. They need structured data, attribution, condition checks, and auditability.
Allium is the read layer that makes onchain finance usable for humans and machines.
WHO WE SERVE
Allium powers three core personas with the same canonical data foundation:
1. Finance, Accounting, and Risk Teams They need reliable, audit grade answers. They rely on Allium for financial reporting, reconciliation, compliance, risk monitoring, and defensible metrics that can stand up to auditors and regulators.
2. Engineers and Product Teams They need low latency, production ready infrastructure. They use Allium to power wallets, trading systems, payment rails, staking infrastructure, and real time applications that cannot break.
3. Strategy, Research, and Executive Teams They need clarity and insight. They use Allium to understand ecosystem economics, market structure, user behavior, competitive dynamics, and where capital is flowing onchain.
And of course...agents 🦞. Our customers and users include Visa, Stripe, G-SIB Banks, Big 4 Accounting firms, BCG, Coinbase, Phantom, Uniswap and cited by the Federal Reserve.
What You’ll Learn
- How petabyte-scale data infrastructure works - Allium manages 5+ petabytes across every combination of cloud provider x data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks...) x region. You'll pick up how these systems are designed, where they break, and how to reason about freshness, cost, and correctness tradeoffs between them.
- How to build AI-native support - Tickets that feed runbooks; runbooks that support agentic skills; an agentic loop that builds on itself and compounds - You will learn how to build an AI-native support system that scales.
- How to manage expectations with institutional customers (banks, asset managers, exchanges, foundations) - What incident management best practices look like in production, how to communicate during a data incident, how to set an SLA you can actually keep, and how to thread the needle when two customers' expectations conflict.
- How 100+ blockchains work under the hood - Resolving a ticket often means tracing a number back to raw on-chain data - why a stablecoin supply figure differs between two sources, why a balance snapshot lags, what a reorg does to a table. You'll build genuine depth in EVM, Solana, and the long tail of chains.
- How enterprise data delivery works end to end - warehouse-native shares, APIs, Kafka streams, push vs pull. You'll learn to pick the right mechanism for a customer's problem, because half of support is knowing where in the product the answer already lives.
- How to run a data quality investigation - verification checks, cross-source reconciliation, and separating "the data is wrong" from "the query is wrong" from "the chain did something unusual."
- A path into becoming an Allium Data Wizard https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/allium/6ad02951-721e-48a6-8a95-95a9139393a9, if that's where you want to go. Every Wizard at Allium started on the frontlines; we believe staying close to customers and their use cases is how you learn the data best. This role builds exactly those skills: tracing numbers back to raw on-chain data, debugging SQL at scale, learning protocol mechanics.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues involving SQL queries, data pipelines, API integrations and other Allium Integrations (e.g. kafka)
- Mapping customer issues to where the solution exists in Allium. Be it a table in the dataset, another delivery mechanism, relevant documentation, another integration pattern (e.g. push vs pull)
- Help customers diagnose problems in their data sources (Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres, etc.) and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with engineering to investigate bugs, identify patterns, and ship fixes.
- Develop internal tools and scripts to automate troubleshooting and improve customer response times.
- Write clear documentation and knowledge base articles for customers and internal teams.
- Partner with the GTM and product teams to translate customer pain points into actionable insights.
- Participate in daily syncs to discuss ongoing issues, progress, and improvements.
- Synthesize all of the above into an AI-native system that builds leverage.
- Triage and prioritize incoming issues against customer SLAs — distinguishing a P1 data incident for an institutional customer from a routine query question, and sequencing your work so the highest-impact problems get resolved first.
What You’ll Bring
- Fluency in AI tools, common failure modes and modern practices.
- Fluency in SQL - you can confidently write, optimize, and debug complex queries.
- Experience providing technical support for a SaaS or data product.
- A working knowledge of blockchain data primitives across ecosystems like Solana and EVM chains.
- Familiarity with APIs, data connectors, and ETL tools.
- Comfort with scripting or automation in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of Linux environments and command-line tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills — you can explain complex concepts simply.
- A proactive, empathetic approach to customer relationships.
- The ability to work independently and take full ownership of issues from report to resolution.
Bonus Points
- Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) or BI tools.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Experience in debugging API or integration issues across cloud environments.
- Familiarity with data modeling or transformation frameworks (dbt, Airbyte, etc.).
- Experience with message queues and event buses (Google Pubsub, Kafka etc)

OK, NOW FOR SOME TOUGH LOVE. HERE ARE THE VALUES WE STRIVE FOR AT ALLIUM:
- Obsessiveness - The best people at Allium cannot put a problem down once they pick it up. We care more about the work than is strictly rational. Institutions trust us because our data is right. Right means caring about the small things. The decoded contract that ships with one wrong field. The label that is 99% accurate but wrong on the address that matters. The query that runs in 4 seconds when it should run in 400 milliseconds. Most companies tolerate these. We do not.
Obsessiveness shows up as depth of care. It is not measured in hours worked or visible effort. You should feel something physical when work ships half-right. That instinct is what we hire for.
- Pro Athlete Mindset - Consistency. Day in and day out, in pursuit of excellence. A win yesterday does not guarantee (or even imply!) a win tomorrow. I hope anyone who supports a failing sports team will feel the pain (cough Man United fans) of inconsistency
- Figure It Out & Extreme Ownership - Every day is unexplored territory. There are new engineering frameworks, new legal docs, new compliance, new sales, new regulations, and new operational procedures every single day. If you don’t know it, learn it. If you can’t learn it, find someone or a product that does it. If you can’t find someone, find someone who can find someone. It is never a lack of resources, but lack of resourcefulness.
- High Agency - (One of) the highest commonalities between all successful people is their responsiveness. Most successful billionaire CEOs still reply to emails within minutes (within working hours). And when you reply, respond fast with effective solutions - and even better, resolutions. If you’re looking for a superpower, you can’t go wrong with responsiveness. Well of course this doesn't make sense when you're an engineer coding in flow, but in general high agency of problem solving gets one very far in life
- Leading from the Front - No one is going to listen (and adopt) your suggestion unless you lead by example. It’s one thing to say We need to do XYZ this better & it’s another thing to build an MVP and say “This is the way we should do things”. The proof of work and momentum goes a long way.
- Strong Opinions On the Future (loosely held) - It is okay to be wrong, but what is not okay is not to have an idea of how a better future should be. Alliumites take pride in trying to improving everything about the company all the time.
- Sense of (Allium) business smell - There are number of folks who live to eat at Allium, but the Allium smell we are talking about is that we love folks who naturally want to know why and how the work they are doing builds leverage for their teammates and also relates to the business goals
ABOUT THE TEAM
We invite people of all backgrounds (https://www.allium.so/about). We have engineers who learnt coding much later in life, who learnt coding on the side, we have engineers who are still in school and we also have engineers who went to the top schools (CMU, Stanford, UIUC, UPenn, Oxford, NUS, Cornell), all are welcome if one comes in with a curious mind and an infectious work ethic.
