AI at Chainalysis

Director, HRBP - Engineering
The Team
The People Team at Chainalysis is dedicated to enabling growth, building an inclusive environment, and providing the support that helps our employees do the best work of their careers. Chainalysis is at a defining moment, transforming from a product-based company to an intelligence platform AI native company. The People Team plays a critical role in ensuring our organization evolves as fast as our technology.
The Role
We're looking for a Director, HR Business Partner to serve as the strategic people partner to our R&D organization, the engine behind the blockchain intelligence products that governments, financial institutions, and crypto businesses around the world rely on to navigate blockchains safely and with confidence.
You will be the dedicated people strategist for R&D, partnering directly with the Head of R&D and the senior leadership team across engineering, research, product, design, and support to build a world-class technology-led organization during a period of significant transformation.
R&D at Chainalysis is in the midst of a fundamental shift — evolving team structures, operating models, and technical workflows as the company moves from application-based delivery to an intelligence platform powered by agents, and from pre-AI practices to AI-native engineering. You'll be at the center of this transformation, thought partnering with a newly appointed R&D leader as they reshape the organization, helping leaders rethink how teams are organized, how talent is developed, and how AI-era productivity reshapes what high-performing R&D organizations look like. This role is focused on building the organizational architecture for what comes next, evolving our R&D culture to support the work of the future.
In this role, you'll:
Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of R&D and R&D's senior leadership, building and embedding our people strategy to accelerate Chainalysis's transformation to an intelligence company
Lead organizational design and change management across R&D as teams evolve to support new operating models. Understand the distinct workflows and the different operating rhythms of platform engineering, data science, research, product, design, and support. Partner with leadership to design structures that optimize for velocity, ownership, autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration
Drive the people side of AI transformation; help leaders understand how AI-augmented productivity is reshaping engineering roles, team sizes, and career trajectories. Evolve technical career frameworks and leveling to reflect the shift toward AI-native development and increased individual ownership
Own workforce planning and talent strategy for R&D, including succession planning, critical-role identification, and retention strategies for deeply specialized technical talent in a competitive market (blockchain, cryptography, data science, security), across our core technology hubs (NYC, Aarhus, and Tel Aviv). Partner with R&D leadership and Finance to ensure organizational design and headcount decisions balance growth investment with operational efficiency and cost discipline
Coach and challenge senior technical leaders on organizational health, performance management, team effectiveness, and employee relations, bringing both data and empathy to difficult conversations. Hold leaders accountable to Chainalysis's cultural standards as the organization scales
Help redefine R&D's operating rhythm and cultural standards; partner with the Head of R&D to reinforce an execution-oriented culture built on pride in craft, operational rigor, urgency, and transparency. Support the people dimensions of OKR-driven planning, quarterly business reviews, and structured accountability across a global, hybrid organization
Use data to see around corners; leverage people analytics to diagnose organizational health, identify attrition risks, and surface trends before they become systemic. Bring the same analytical rigor to people decisions that R&D brings to technical ones
We're looking for candidates who have:
10+ years of progressive HR/People experience, with at least 5 years as a strategic HRBP supporting engineering, R&D, or other deeply technical global organizations at high-growth technology companies with strong engineering cultures
Experience scaling an R&D organization through a period of rapid growth; you've been part of the journey as a technical organization of 200+ grew meaningfully in size and complexity, supporting ambitious revenue targets; you know what breaks at each stage of scaling, how roles and structures need to evolve in real-time, and how to build the people infrastructure to support a business that's growing fast
A builder's mindset - you can collaborate and create frameworks, programs, and approaches from scratch rather than waiting for a playbook. You approach people systems with the same iterative, build-and-improve mentality as the engineers you support
A deep understanding of how technical organizations operate and how AI is reshaping work; you can speak credibly about engineering workflows, product development lifecycles, platform vs. product team structures, and the distinct cultures of engineering, data science, and research. You have a point of view on how AI is changing the tech landscape, how it changes the nature of engineering work and team composition, to how it can be leveraged to reduce friction in people operations.
Executive Presence, Analytics, and Influence; you demonstrate high-trust coaching and executive presence, holding the line on what’s right for the organization while challenging leaders constructively. You pair this with strong analytical capabilities, using people data and organizational diagnostics to drive action. As a senior individual contributor, you lead through influence, credibility, and the quality of your thinking rather than positional authority—proving equally adept at presenting to the executive team and sitting with a first-time engineering manager to navigate complex, high-stakes situations.
Nice to have experience:
Experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, or fintech, particularly understanding the competitive dynamics for technical talent in these spaces
Experience in regulated environments where security, compliance, and insider-risk considerations intersect with people strategy

Senior GRC Engineer, Trust
The InfoSec organization at Chainalysis helps protect the company, its products, and its customers as the business grows. We partner closely across Product, Engineering, IT, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to build security and compliance into how Chainalysis operates. This role will contribute to that mission by improving the systems, processes, and technical controls that support a scalable security and compliance program.

You’ll operate as a senior individual contributor at the Senior level, leading work of moderate scope through influence, cross-functional collaboration, and guidance rather than people management. Build scalable evidence collection and control-testing workflows that improve audit readiness and reduce manual effort.
Drive continuous control improvement across a segmented product suite, including pass-through security and compliance requirements where applicable.
Support product and risk review processes by helping teams translate requirements into practical technical and operational actions.
Advocate for a durable, scalable control environment that keeps pace with business growth and customer expectations.
Help shape GRC automation and stronger operating rhythms across the Trust organization.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
Experience implementing and operating security or compliance controls in a cloud, SaaS, or otherwise regulated technology environment.
Built repeatable evidence collection, control testing, or remediation workflows that improved audit readiness and reduced manual work.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to move control work from requirement to implementation.
The ability to translate customer, audit, or internal control requirements into clear technical actions for delivery teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain risk, tradeoffs, and remediation plans to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience supporting assurance or compliance programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, customer security reviews, or similar control frameworks.
A track record of influencing cross-functional work, collaborating broadly, and providing guidance in a senior IC role.
A practical, systems-minded approach to improving controls without creating unnecessary friction for the business.
Nice to have experience:
Experience with Trust Center operations or customer-facing security and compliance request workflows.
Familiarity with identity and access management controls such as Okta and MFA enforcement.
Experience with GRC automation or workflow tooling that improves evidence collection, remediation tracking, or control monitoring.
Exposure to blockchain, fintech, or other high-trust environments where customer assurance and technical controls are tightly coupled.

As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

Vice President, Marketing
Chainalysis has gone through rapid growth over the last few years. As Vice President of Marketing you will help the company continue to grow by driving customer acquisition through various marketing channels. You will be responsible for demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, field marketing and digital marketing. You'll lead teams across field marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing. From events and webinars to product launches and demand gen campaigns, you'll drive impact across public sector, private, and commercial markets worldwide. You will be empowered to grow revenue, and make data-driven decisions that drive measurable customer conversion through the marketing funnel, strategically leading Chainalysis through our next stage of customer growth. As a people-first leader, you'll build a high-performing, motivated team, leveling up individual contributors into strategic marketers while forging strong partnerships across Sales, RevOps, Product, and post-sales teams.
In this role, you'll:
Build & Scale Demand Generation for Revenue Growth
• Design and lead an AI-driven demand generation engine, leveraging predictive analytics, automation, and hyper-personalized outreach at scale.
• Develop a multi-channel strategy that includes intent-based marketing, outbound AI-driven prospecting, and dynamic campaign orchestration.
• Redefine marketing funnel efficiency, ensuring a seamless transition from MQL to SQL to closed-won revenue, optimizing conversion rates at every stage.
• Experiment with emerging pipeline strategies, including community-led growth, influencer-driven campaigns, and direct engagement with high-value accounts.
Transform Field & Digital Marketing into a Revenue Machine
• Lead field marketing execution, ensuring regional sales teams are equipped with tailored, high-impact marketing programs.
• Optimize events for direct pipeline impact, shifting from traditional brand awareness to high-conversion field activations.
• Oversee performance marketing, paid media, and account-based marketing (ABM) to ensure targeted, high-quality customer acquisition at scale.
• Leverage AI and automation for digital marketing, ensuring data-driven, dynamic content delivery that matches customer intent.
Own Product Marketing & Competitive Positioning
• Lead the product marketing function, defining market positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation for Chainalysis's platform across government, financial services, and enterprise segments.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, feature releases, and platform expansions.
• Own competitive intelligence, ensuring the sales organization is equipped with battlecards, objection handling, and differentiated value propositions.
• Partner closely with Product to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer-facing narratives that drive pipeline and accelerate sales cycles.
• Build a world-class sales enablement engine, ensuring field teams have the positioning, content, and tools to win.
Drive Marketing-Sales Alignment & Accountability
• Establish a unified demand generation framework, ensuring seamless collaboration with Sales, and RevOps.
• Implement a real-time revenue attribution model, providing clear visibility into marketing's contribution to pipeline and closed deals.
• Ensure every marketing dollar is accountable, with transparent ROI tracking across all owned, paid, and earned media channels.
• Drive a data-first marketing culture, using advanced analytics to optimize performance and continuously improve revenue impact.
Build, Develop & Inspire a World-Class Marketing Team
• Foster a team culture where people do their best work — create an environment where people do the best work of their careers, with clear development paths and a culture of trust and accountability.
• Level up the team from tactical execution to strategic thinking, coaching marketers to connect their work directly to business outcomes.
• Build deep, productive partnerships with parallel teams — especially RevOps, Sales Leadership, Product, and post-sales teams — ensuring marketing is a true strategic partner, not a service function.
• Attract and retain top talent, building a diverse team that reflects the global markets Chainalysis serves.
We're looking for candidates who have:
• 15+ years of experience in marketing supporting at a mid-to-large scale, high growth organization, including solution-selling environments with B2B SaaS products
• Sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
• Experience overseeing demand generation and product marketing functions, as well as experience working in support of an Enterprise solutions salesforce
• Experience leading a field marketing function, inclusive of customer marketing
• Experience leading a product marketing function, including product positioning, competitive intelligence, GTM strategy, and sales enablement for enterprise B2B SaaS products
• A track record as a proven people leader who elevates teams, develops future leaders, and builds trust across the organization — someone who develops talent, builds trust, and creates teams that punch above their weight
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build partnerships across RevOps, Sales, Product, and post-sales leadership
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
