Sr. Product Manager, Family | Acorns
Money is the tool that decides how much of life people get to live on their own terms. For over a decade, Acorns has helped millions of everyday Americans start investing — often for the first time in their lives. Most of the finance industry profits by encouraging people to spend, trade, and borrow more. We built our business on the opposite bet: that helping people invest, save, and build wealth over the long term is both the right thing to do and the better business.
Now we're building that same belief into the next generation. We think every kid should grow up already knowing how to invest, not learning it the hard way at 30. That's a genuinely new category of product — not a feature bolted onto a banking app — and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build it from the ground up.
Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing optional access to office space in Irvine, CA.
About the Role
You'll own how families discover, adopt, and grow with Acorns' family investing products — from the moment a parent first encounters what we offer through building it into a lasting habit. You'll set the strategy for that experience and bring it to leadership to align on the biggest bets. You'll shape a vision across parents, teens, and kids—making earning, investing, and building wealth feel natural from an early age.
What You'll Do
Own the strategy and roadmap for how families discover and grow with Acorns, from first exposure through building lasting habits.
Own the new customer onboarding roadmap – from visitor to paid subscriber, identifying and executing a mix of big bets and iterative optimizations across registration, pricing, product activation, and billing
Run rapid experimentation loops and A/B tests that improve conversion rates, reduce friction, and drive incremental subscriber growth
Create new consumer experiences from first principles, designing features and experiences that introduce millions of children to investing before adulthood.
Leverage customer insights, research, and behavioral data to inform product decisions with empathy and precision
Partner closely with Growth Marketing to align on growth strategy, customer segmentation, campaign targeting, and shared KPIs
Collaborate with Finance to model business impact, estimate opportunity sizes, and track performance against company goals
Work closely with Analytics to uncover growth opportunities, design experiments, and interpret results
-
Build strong relationships cross-functionally with engineering, design, legal, compliance, and marketing to drive initiatives from concept to launch with speed and accountability
What You'll Bring
8+ years of product management experience building exceptional consumer products.
Strong background in funnel optimization, A/B testing, and growth experimentation
Experience in bringing new product features to life from idea to launch
Deep customer empathy and experience applying behavioral economics or psychology principles in product work
A track record of building products that drive engagement, habit formation, or long-term customer loyalty.
Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
A behavior-driven mindset, comfortable with ambiguity because it creates room to invent.
Deep alignment with our mission—you see yourself as a missionary, driven by the impact your work has on families' futures.
Fintech experience is not required; we prefer someone who has built extraordinary consumer products over someone who has only built financial products.
Bonus: Fluency with AI tools to move faster in your own workflow, and experience shaping or shipping AI-powered features for customers — not required, but a real asset to this team.
What we offer:
Competitive salary and stock options
A comprehensive benefits package for you and your family
Flexible work location, hours, and paid time off
401(k) matching
Monthly Acorns account contribution & Acorns Early account for your family
Mindfulness and Financial Wellness resources, Headspace and Addition Wealth
Acorns Career Development Program (Ongoing training sessions, development plans, development check-ins, Cornerstone’s online training platform)
Roots Leadership Program for Emerging Leaders
Community week onsite gatherings and various virtual events
Talented and motivated team members who care deeply about one another, our mission, and our customers.
The rare opportunity to create a new world. We inspire one another every day to do meaningful work that solves big societal challenges.
You are not expected to have experience with all listed requirements. If you feel passionate about Acorns' mission, vision, and values, please apply.

Growth Marketing, Sr. Associate - New Channels | Acorns
Acorns is looking for a curious, driven Growth Marketing Sr. Associate to join our team and help expand our paid acquisition channel mix. You will work closely with the Senior Paid Acquisition Manager to research, launch, and scale emerging platforms—from programmatic DSPs to community-based channels like Reddit—driving user growth across Acorns and Acorns Early.
This role carries real ownership. You’ll operate with meaningful day-to-day autonomy, exercise judgment within established frameworks, and produce analysis and recommendations that shape how we invest in new channels. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Creative, and channel partners to bring experiments to life and move quickly from proof of concept to scaled channel.
Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing optional access to office space in Irvine, CA.
What You Will Do
Channel Testing & Execution
Help develop and execute a structured testing roadmap for new and emerging paid media channels, including programmatic display, Reddit, Snapchat, and other alternative platforms.
Own day-to-day campaign management across existing channels and new tests, including setup, trafficking, pacing, and ongoing optimization.
Use performance data and judgment to make in-channel optimizations, escalating broader strategic decisions to the Senior Paid Acquisition Manager as needed.
Partner with the Creative team to brief, test, and iterate on ad assets tailored to each platform and audience.
Measurement & Reporting
Identify incrementality and lift study opportunities, collaborate with the Analytics team to design the test structure, and own the launch and ongoing performance monitoring of each experiment.
Track and report on key performance indicators for new and existing channel initiatives, translating data into clear summaries for internal stakeholders.
Maintain organized records of test results, learnings, and optimization actions to build a shared knowledge base for the team.
Cross-Brand & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support acquisition growth across our brand portfolio—Acorns and Acorns Early.
Work collaboratively with Analytics, Creative, and other marketing teammates to execute experiments efficiently and surface actionable insights.
Actively monitor the AdTech landscape—including gaming platforms (e.g., Roblox, Discord), community platforms, and emerging programmatic DSPs—and bring forward channel opportunities for the team to evaluate.
What You Will Bring
3+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, or growth marketing with a BS/BA; or equivalent work experience.
Hands-on experience with at least one paid media platform (e.g., Meta, Snapchat, Reddit, The Trade Desk, or similar).
Familiarity with mobile measurement platforms (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer) and an understanding of how attribution frameworks inform paid media decisions. Exposure to Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) is a plus.
A data-driven mindset—you’re comfortable working with performance data and translating numbers into clear, actionable takeaways.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; you follow processes carefully, flag questions early, and aren’t afraid to modify your approach when the situation calls for it.
Clear written and verbal communication skills—you can summarize experiment results and share channel recommendations in a way that’s easy for stakeholders to act on.
Genuine curiosity about where digital advertising is heading and a hunger to explore channels competitors aren’t using yet.
A belief that your work is connected to something bigger—helping everyday people build financial security is core to what we do at Acorns, and we want teammates who are energized by that mission.
You are not expected to have experience with every platform listed. If you’re passionate about Acorns’ mission and eager to grow in performance marketing, we encourage you to apply.
