Customer Success Engineer
Forward was founded in 2013 by four Stanford Ph.D.s, building the industry's first network digital twin: a mathematically accurate model of the production network. It's the foundation for autonomous networking, giving engineers and AI agents the ability to know the impact of every change before it touches production. That founding instinct still defines how we work. We're accurate and evidence-driven, relentless about clarity, and we'd rather be certain than comfortable, building a groundbreaking platform that transforms how teams run and secure networks across every major cloud and vendor environment.
Global leaders like Goldman Sachs, PayPal, S&P Global, IBM, and Dell trust Forward, alongside fast-growing enterprises and government agencies, realizing an average of $14.2 million in annual benefits, according to IDC. Backed by top-tier investors, including A. Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, MSD Partners, Omega Venture Partners, Section 32, and Threshold Ventures, and headquartered in Santa Clara, we're most proud of our team: curious people who'd rather build what doesn't exist than accept how things have always been done.

Product Engineer
Physical Intelligence is bringing general-purpose AI into the physical world. We are a group of engineers, scientists, roboticists, and company builders developing learning algorithms to create a model that will control any robot to do any task.
The Team
Training robot foundation models takes enormous amounts of multimodal data, much of it collected by third-party vendors and partners around the world. The Data Operations team makes sure that data is high quality, well understood, and safe to train on. This role owns quality assurance and audit for externally sourced data, working closely with the researchers who consume it and the teams who create it.
In This Role You Will
Own external data QA & audit: Build and run the end-to-end QA process for multimodal data ingested from third-party vendors and partners — sampling strategy, review workflows, pass/fail decisions, and audit trails — so data is verified before it reaches training.
Define quality standards: Partner with researchers to translate what "good data" means into concrete, measurable rubrics and acceptance criteria; keep them versioned and current as research needs evolve.
Build the system: Build the software interfaces, tooling, and infrastructure scale the system in an automated way - correctly sampling the right data for QA, internal QA checks, tracking dips in data quality from vendors and exposing those insights back to the vendors.
Manage vendor quality loops: Deliver structured, actionable feedback to vendors; coach them on standing up QA checks on their own side; iterate until vendor-side and internal QA agree; enforce standards through review and acceptance processes.
What you'll bring
~5 years of experience across building customer facing software.
Vendor management experience: working directly with third-party data providers, delivering actionable feedback, and measurably improving the quality of their output.
Strong ops acumen and drive — a bias to instrument, measure, and iterate quickly rather than crank hours at a broken process.
Comfort being hands-on in the data: reviewing samples yourself, writing and refining rubrics, and spot-checking your own program's output.
Clear written and verbal communication across researchers, operations teams, and external partners.
Nice to have
Experience with robotics, egocentric video, or other multimodal sensor data.
Experience defining requirements for QA/validation tooling or working with engineers on automated data quality checks.
Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

AI Controls Solutions Engineer (HVAC Systems)
About Phaidra
Phaidra is building the future of industrial automation.
The world today is filled with static, monolithic infrastructure. Factories, power plants, buildings, etc. operate the same they've operated for decades — because the controls programming is hard-coded. Thousands of lines of rules and heuristics that define how the machines interact with each other. The result of all this hard-coding is that facilities are frozen in time, unable to adapt to their environment while their performance slowly degrades.
Phaidra creates AI-powered control systems for the industrial sector, enabling industrial facilities to automatically learn and improve over time. Specifically:
- We use reinforcement learning algorithms to provide this intelligence, converting raw sensor data into high-value actions and decisions.
- We focus on industrial applications, which tend to be well-sensorized with measurable KPIs — perfect for reinforcement learning.
- We enable domain experts (our users) to configure the AI control systems (i.e. agents) without writing code. They define what they want their AI agents to do, and we do it for them.
Our team has a track record of applying AI to some of the toughest problems. From achieving superhuman performance with DeepMind's AlphaGo, to reducing the energy required to cool Google's Data Centers by 40%, we deeply understand AI and how to apply it in production for massive impact.
Phaidra’s ability to achieve its mission is determined by our ability to work together — as defined by our core values: Agency, Velocity, Craft, and Truth. We seek individuals who embody these values, as they are instrumental in ensuring our team consistently delivers excellence and fosters an engaging and supportive culture
Phaidra is based in the USA, but we are 100% remote with no physical office. We hire employees internationally with the help of our partner, OysterHR. Our team is currently located throughout the USA, Canada, UK, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, and India.

- You will use Phaidra’s products and your knowledge of the customers' needs to create a model of the facility for ingestion by our product lineup. This will require working closely with our Data Science team. You’ll understand the facility and configure our products according the facility and customer requirements. Then, you will commission and tune our products and assist in analyzing and triaging these systems in the support phase.
- You will work with the product team to identify and define product requirements based upon each customer’s specification and needs. You will work closely with other AI Controls Solutions Engineers and the Product team to ensure our automated tools enable Phaidra to scale across thousands of customers. You will translate a combination of customer-stated and customer-implied needs into coherent needs documentation for use by the software development team.
- You will provide ongoing support of deployed products, including support issue resolution and monitoring of performance. ****You will lead the deployment and support of multiple Solutions, perhaps in parallel. This includes resolving onboarding or support tickets by coordinating with the appropriate stakeholders or providing direct solutions. You will analyze the performance and viability of your engineered solutions, as well as troubleshoot, triage, and analyze issues with control systems and equipment. You will possess deep knowledge of Phaidra’s pipelines to effectively identify and address issues and actively manage risk.
