- Forecast production demand for the supply chain, production, and engineering teams for various inputs into the product
- Identify initiatives for improvement of SpaceX’s business outlook, including developing, tracking, and executing business initiatives with SpaceX’s leadership
- Build forward looking cost models to serve as a reference point as we start to manufacture new products
- Provide strategic insights and conclusions based on this analysis
- Develop key performance indicators, especially cost per unit, revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses and capital expenditures (includes developing business models and decision-making tools)
- Guide planning and resource management (e.g., headcount, investment, etc.) for specific verticals within SpaceX, including development of business models
- Work with stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions (including actual performance) on SpaceX’s business health
- Manage investments/planning for Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering (e.g. return on investment analyses for new technology development, resource planning, marketing, etc.)
- Support product development by establishing cost targets and guiding Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing decisions towards attainment of these targets (i.e. cost vs. performance tradeoffs)
- Evaluate major CapEx decisions, expansion plans, and business cases on automation, manufacturing scope, insource vs. outsource choices, and location
- Lead manufacturing cost and sales revenue improvement for all products, including feedback on estimated manufacturing costs and revenue potential for future programs, identification of focus areas for cost and revenue improvement, and execution of identified initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or economics
- 4+ years of experience in consulting, engineering, manufacturing, product management, operations, FP&A, banking, or entrepreneurship
- 4+ years of experience in Excel or programming
- Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment
- Ability to read and interpret income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Demonstrated success driving tangible impact/influencing within a broader organization
- Excellent analytical skills (e.g. Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, Microsoft Office applications, Excel modeling, or similar data manipulation tools etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders

The Product Growth Team is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive consumer growth through commercial collaborations with adjacent products, services, industries, and affiliate channels. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute business development strategies to expand Starlink’s consumer presence in the US and Canada, with a focus on adjacent products, bundled offerings, and new go-to-market models

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing execution of revenue-driving initiatives
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Level 3: $115,000.00 - $185,000.00
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. Spring 2027 Business Operations Internship/Co-op

SPRING 2027 BUSINESS OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP/CO-OP
SpaceX seeks extraordinary students to join us for Spring 2027 business operations roles. As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and other employees who will help you apply your knowledge and grow your skills on projects that have a significant impact. You’ll also get to have some fun and network with other interns and employees through optional social and professional events. If you’ve demonstrated a commitment to academic success and motivation to apply your knowledge outside of the classroom, you are a great candidate!
Internships are available with a variety of teams across the company in Brownsville, TX; Cape Canaveral, FL; Hawthorne (Los Angeles), CA; McGregor (Waco), TX; and Redmond (Seattle), WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate degree program
- 3+ months experience in corporate and business functions (data analysis, finance, human resources, IT, government affairs, legal, and supply chain management is applicable)
- Applicant for this intern position must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- GPA of 3.5 or above
- Strong interpersonal skills (examples: leading a student organization or working successfully in teams)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different groups and teams
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and communicate effectively
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work full time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in January or March 2027
- Able to provide own transportation for positions at Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, and McGregor locations

Pay range:
Business Operations Intern/Freshman/Sophomore: $24.50/hour
Business Operations Intern/Junior/Senior: $25.00/hour
Business Operations Intern/Completed Bachelor's: $25.50/hour
Business Operations Intern/Completed Master's: $26.00/hour
Your salary will be determined by academic level. Pay is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs, as well as access to our comprehensive medical coverage and a 401(k) retirement plan. Students joining SpaceX through our internship program will receive the opportunity to attend presentations from company leaders, social and networking events, as well as professional and personal development trainings. Interns are also eligible for paid company holidays. SpaceX offers 10 or more paid holidays per year.
TEAM DESCRIPTIONS:
FINANCE: The finance organization owns all aspects of accounting and finance for SpaceX’s operations. You will be a key contributor in automating processes, managing projects, and tracking the performance of our manufacturing and supply chain teams.
HUMAN RESOURCES: Supports a diverse employee population with crucial services for the full-employee life-cycle. HR interns could support internal and external customer service, employee onboarding, HRIS administration, implementing local and company-wide programs.
LEGAL: Supports SpaceX’s mission in many legal areas, including corporate finance and structure, international trade compliance, intellectual property protection, and government contracts. Legal interns will support legal research and analysis, reporting on specific legal risks and mitigation approaches, and contract preparation and negotiations.
PURCHASING: The SpaceX purchasing team is responsible for ensuring lowest product cost and risk through supplier management, strategic negotiations; spend analysis and continuous process improvement. An intern joining this team would expect to gain first-hand experience analyzing supplier and spend data, communicating with suppliers, purchasing direct and/or indirect goods or services, and support of various projects like creating and implementing new processes.
SPACEPORT OPERATIONS: Supports the various functions necessary to ongoing operations within our own Spaceport community. Spaceport Operations Interns are hospitality-focused problem solvers supporting various operations including food and beverage, housing/accommodations, transportation, facilities and on-site amenities. This is an exciting opportunity for students in majors such as hospitality management or business administration, management to apply their knowledge to a real-world challenge and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
STARLINK BUSINESS OPERATIONS: Develops and is responsible for the acquisition and success of Starlink customers, serving as the main interface between Starlink customers and SpaceX. Interns in this group will drive initiatives to grow the customer base, create processes to better the customer experience, and improve efficiencies to ensure Starlink is meeting its customer demand. There are roles in product management, business analytics, and operations management.
SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS OPERATIONS: Improves and develops the business processes that enable SpaceX to design, build, launch and reuse the most advanced rockets in the world. Interns in this group will help innovate and improve efficiencies to ensure that the Supply Chain team is continuously evolving to meet its internal customer demands and to achieve SpaceX’s overall mission of sending humans to Mars.
