We are seeking a Master’s Level Behavioral Health Provider to provide GI focused behavioral services to our adult GI patients. Evidence based interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies (diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation (brain-gut connection, coping with chronic illness and gut directed hypnotherapy. As a core member of the clinical team, you will have access to ongoing training and support from a GI-focused clinical team (GI/MD, GI-experienced Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitians) to help you develop a working knowledge of digestive health conditions (IBD, IBS, GERD, SIBO, etc.) and implement GI focused psychological services. Your role will complement services provided by other members of the care team. Prior experience in the area(s) of GI Psychology and/or Health Psychology in general is preferred but not essential. Our team can provide training, in addition to ongoing consultation and support.
What you’ll do- Key Responsibilities
- In a digital integrated healthcare environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of care providers (including MDs, Dietitians) to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to member care

- Initiate and maintain health records and encounters in electronic health record and comply with guidelines outlined within company clinical protocols and other related manuals.
- Participate in professional training activities to maintain licensure and advance knowledge base
- Participate in clinical coordination meetings with other care team members
- Contribute to company wide development of psychological best practices and feedback to share your professional experience with other team members and further improve member experiences
What we are looking for - Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or other relevant field.
- Active License to practice therapy in good standing
- 3+ Years Relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation strategies that impact brain-gut connection, Motivational Interviewing, (experience with GI focused care is a plus)
- Ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with other care providers (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Health Coach, Registered Dietitian)
- Comfortable and competent with using common administrative technologies (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or equivalent), charting electronically, experience delivering on telehealth platforms preferred

Role Overview
As an Account Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing insurance accounts receivable and ensuring accurate, timely posting and reconciliation of payments. This role focuses on maximizing reimbursement through proactive claim follow-up, denial resolution, payment investigation, and cash reconciliation. You will work closely with our Revenue Cycle leads, other members of the Revenue Cycle team, finance, and clinical teams to resolve payment discrepancies, improve AR performance, and maintain accurate financial records. This role also supports reporting and identifies trends to improve revenue cycle processes and overall financial performance. Your attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to customer access will contribute to the financial stability and success of Oshi as we pioneer the way in GI care.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned insurance accounts receivable to ensure timely reimbursement and reduce aging balances.
- Follow up with insurance payers on outstanding claims, underpayments, denials, and payment discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials by submitting corrected claims, appeals, reconsiderations, and supporting documentation in accordance with payer requirements.
- Review claim edits and rejections to ensure accurate resubmission and minimize future denials.
- Accurately post insurance payments, adjustments, and remittances into the billing system.
- Perform daily payment reconciliation by ensuring posted payments align with electronic remittance advice (ERA), explanation of benefits (EOB), bank deposits, and payment reports.
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment variances, overpayments, and underpayments.
- Reconcile payer payments against contracted reimbursement rates and escalate payment discrepancies as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation of AR activities, payer communications, payment research, and resolution outcomes.
- Respond professionally and empathetically to patient inquiries regarding insurance claims, billing statements, payment activity, balances, and Oshi's billing model, policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Maintain open communication with providers, payers, and internal stakeholders to investigate, resolve, and prevent claim and payment issues.
- Collaborate with Billing, Eligibility & Benefits, Credentialing, Finance, Clinical Operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve reimbursement issues and improve revenue cycle performance.
- Analyze accounts receivable, payment, and denial data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Monitor and report on AR performance, payment posting accuracy, denial trends, aging, and other key revenue cycle metrics, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Support month-end close activities, payment balancing, reporting, and audit requests.
- Identify recurring reimbursement or operational issues and recommend process improvements to improve payment accuracy, accelerate cash collections, and reduce denials.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, financial regulations, HIPAA, and healthcare billing standards while maintaining accuracy and integrity in all revenue cycle activities.

Role Overview
As our Care Coordinator specializing in Prior Authorizations & Referrals, you will manage back-office responsibilities including referral management, prior authorizations, specialty pharmacy & infusions, and medical records to help deliver and implement clinical strategies and support member care coordination in collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team. You will use a high level of attention to detail, organization, and communication skills to obtain, manage, and follow up on member referrals and prior authorizations to ensure key care plan goals are met.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of care providers (including NPs, RDs, Behavioral Health Providers) to provide a whole-person approach to member care.

- Apply knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes to obtain authorizations in a timely manner while demonstrating understanding of payer medical policy guidelines.

- Engage in external coordination of pharmacy support services to ensure members receive all necessary support throughout the prior authorization process.

As a core member of the clinical team, you will have access to ongoing training and support from a GI-focused clinical team (GI/MD, GI-experienced Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitians) to help you develop a working knowledge of digestive health conditions (IBD, IBS, GERD, SIBO, etc.) and implement GI focused psychological services. Your role will complement services provided by other members of the care team. Prior experience in the area(s) of GI Psychology and/or Health Psychology in general is preferred but not essential. Our team can provide training, in addition to ongoing consultation and support.
What you’ll do- Key Responsibilities
- In a digital integrated healthcare environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of care providers (including MDs, Dietitians) to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to member care
- Utilize evidenced-based clinical interventions (including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies (diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation (brain-gut connection, coping with chronic illness) and gut directed hypnotherapy.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments to design and implement relevant and concrete goals that support clients in achieving meaningful outcomes related to their GI condition(s).
- Initiate and maintain health records and encounters in electronic health record and comply with guidelines outlined within company clinical protocols and other related manuals.
- Participate in professional training activities to maintain licensure and advance knowledge base
- Participate in clinical coordination meetings with other care team members
- Contribute to company wide development of psychological best practices and feedback to share your professional experience with other team members and further improve member experiences
What we are looking for - Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or other relevant field.
- Active License to practice therapy in good standing (LPC Counseling Compact only)
- 3+ Years Relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation strategies that impact brain-gut connection, Motivational Interviewing, (experience with GI focused care is a plus)
- Ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with other care providers (e.g., MD, Nurse Practitioner, Health Coach, Registered Dietitian)
- Comfortable and competent with using common administrative technologies (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or equivalent), charting electronically, experience delivering on telehealth platforms preferred

- Document patient interactions accurately and timely within the EHR, maintaining thorough and compliant records
- Allocate approximately 30 hours per week to direct patient care and 10 hours to documentation, meetings, and administrative responsibilities
- This is not a traditional 9-5 role — scheduling includes a mix of early morning, evening, and weekend hours to meet patient access needs. Flexibility and willingness to work outside standard business hours is essential
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical program development, and professional training to stay current in the field of gastrointestinal care
- Pursue cross-licensure opportunities and maintain good standing with all relevant licenses and certifications
What We're Looking For — Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing
- Current certification by ANCC, AANP, or other qualifying agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gastroenterology specialty in an outpatient setting

- Licensure in 2 additional states desired — candidates must be willing and able to obtain within 60 days of hire
