The primary responsibility of the Clinical Operations Specialist is to act as a Practice Management (PMIS) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) analyst and best practice consultant. The Specialist addresses PMIS and EHR cases submitted to the team and provides Tier I Level support to care centers within a timely manner. The Specialist builds and applies expertise in an area that supports the organization’s goals of optimizing the level at which practice providers and staff use enterprise PMIS and EHR platforms.
The Specialist will also maintain athenanet user access management. Responsibilities include supporting access change requests, along with provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier I support for Athena PMIS/EHR applications, assisting care center staff with system issues, workflow questions, and application functionality via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce case management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to patient scheduling, registration, clinical documentation, billing, and other EHR workflows, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Document, track, and manage incidents, service requests, and inquiries in Salesforce, ensuring accurate case records and timely resolution.
- Educate and support end users on system functionality, best practices, and established workflows to promote efficient and compliant use of the EHR platform.
- Provide Tier I identity and access management support, including user account provisioning, modifications, deactivations, and access troubleshooting.
- Perform password resets, account unlocks, multifactor authentication (MFA) support, and user access validation in accordance with security and compliance requirements.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, privacy, and information security standards by ensuring appropriate access controls and accurate audit documentation.
- Monitor and prioritize support queues to meet service level agreements (SLAs), deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure a positive end-user experience.
- Participate in ongoing training, process improvement initiatives, knowledge base development, system testing, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience supporting PMIS/EHR systems, including issue resolution and change management required.
- Experience with clinical workflows, PMIS/EHR platforms, and physician practice management applications required.
- Experience with Athena One required.
- 1–2 years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), computer security, user account auditing, or access administration preferred.

The Breast Ultrasound technologist works directly with the operations manager, the office manager, and any other staff assigned to the location. The Sonographer will perform clinical breast ultrasound procedures utilizing a background in anatomy, physiology, physics, and instrumentation to provide technical information to aid the radiologist in diagnosis. Responsibilities
- Performing the ultrasound and ensuring the transducer (probe) is capturing images correctly
- Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients to avoid confusion
- Maintaining ultrasound equipment and sterilizing the room in which the procedure takes place
- Evaluating the images for quality, and interpreting what the image captured
- Presenting images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team
- Maintaining patient records and adding medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure
- Work closely with the Mammography technologists and Radiologist to ensure the capture of appropriate information and prior imaging.
- Review all prior images and reports before completing an exam
- Utilize PACS, EMR, and any other systems related to imaging

Qualifications
- ARDMS registered sonographer
- You must also have, or be eligible to obtain within six months of hire, an ARDMS Advanced Breast Registry or ARRT Breast Sonography certification.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Breast Sonographer
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Previous experience working in an imaging environment is highly desirable
- Proficient in PACS and RIS Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice is seeking an Experienced, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our boutique gynecology practice in South Miami.
About the Practice
Novel OBGYN is a boutique, patient-centered gynecology and women’s health practice dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized care in a modern, welcoming environment. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced provider who values clinical excellence, professionalism, and outstanding patient service.
Position Highlights:
- Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Initial schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (8:30 AM–5:00 PM)
- Opportunity to transition to full-time within 3–6 months
- Full-time applicants are also encouraged to apply
- Patient volume 16-25 per day
- Office-based gynecology
- No obstetrics, hopsital responsibilities or call
- Perform routine GYN exams, IUD insertions/removals, all aspects of Women's Health
- Record patient history and follow-up with patient
Preferred Qualifications
- Florida-licensed NP or PA
- Gynecology or women’s health experience preferred
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, organized, and patient-focused
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the physician
- EMR experience (Athena experience is a plus)
Requirements:
National NP or PA certification or ability to obtain
Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
