What You’ll Do
The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing our new machine shop, as well as managing a team of technicians and machinists. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking to optimize production processes and ensure the highest quality standards for our defense-critical components.
Machine Shop Development:
Design and implement the layout, equipment selection, and operational procedures for a new, state-of-the-art machine shop.
Identify and procure necessary machinery, tools, and software to support manufacturing needs.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all machine shop equipment.
Team Leadership and Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians and machinists.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Process Optimization and Improvement:
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Utilize Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with defense industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100).
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team on complex machining operations and problem-solving.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and materials.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all machine shop operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Develop and enforce robust safety protocols and training programs.
What You’ll Need
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong emphasis on machine shop operations.
Proven experience in building out and managing a machine shop from the ground up.
Demonstrated experience managing a team of technicians and machinists.
Experience in the defense industry or with high-precision manufacturing is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360).
Deep understanding of various machining processes (e.g., CNC milling, turning, grinding, EDM).
Knowledge of metrology and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Other:
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

What You'll Do
The Assembly Technician & Light Machinist will be responsible for the precise assembly of electro-mechanical components and the operation of light machining equipment to produce parts for our advanced counter-drone systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Assembly:
Perform precise assembly of complex electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly tasks.
Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of assembly progress, materials used, and quality control data.
Machining:
Operate light machining equipment (e.g., lathes, milling machines, drills) to produce and modify components from various materials.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining operations.
Set up and adjust machining parameters, including feeds, speeds, and tool selection.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tooling.
Inspect machined parts for accuracy, dimensions, and surface finish using precision measuring instruments.
General:
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product design.
Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices in the workshop.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
What You'll Need
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machining Technology) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in a defense, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
Proven experience operating light machining equipment.
Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Familiarity with various assembly techniques and tools.
Competence in operating basic machine shop equipment.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Computer Vision Engineer to join our team. This role is focused on developing and optimizing advanced computer vision algorithms for aerial object detection and tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, deep learning, and deep learning, with experience in the defense sector.
Contribute to the implementation of computer vision algorithms for aerial object detection and tracking.
Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and deep learning to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of technology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and data scientists, to integrate computer vision solutions into our defense systems.
Optimize and enhance existing algorithms for improved accuracy, efficiency, and real-time performance.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to improve detection and tracking accuracy.
Help ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all developed solutions.
What You'll Need
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision and machine learning.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer vision and object detection.
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and familiarity with relevant libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning and deep learning models in real-world applications.
In-depth knowledge of image processing, feature extraction, object detection, and tracking algorithms.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and innovate.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Bonus Points
Experience with drone technology and UAV systems.
Knowledge of radar, LIDAR, and other sensing technologies.
Experience in 3d perception or similar fields.
