The Senior Product Designer is responsible for making Patlytics' AI feel intuitive and indispensable for highly demanding users like patent attorneys, whose workflows are complex and high-stakes. This role requires deep immersion with customers to conduct direct user research, pressure-test designs, and redesign end-to-end experiences across core patent workflows, including search, claim charting, and litigation support. A primary requirement is making AI legible by designing interfaces that clearly and transparently surface verifiable AI-generated insights and staying at the forefront of AI interaction design, such as LLM-powered and agentic workflows. Candidates must have 6+ years of experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex, workflow-heavy B2B SaaS or enterprise products. Success requires extreme ownership and precise communication throughout the full design lifecycle, from concept exploration to post-launch iteration, holding accountability for the customer's actual experience.
