SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
ABOUT STREAM
Stream powers real-time Chat https://getstream.io/chat/, Video https://getstream.io/video/, Activity Feeds https://getstream.io/activity-feeds/, and AI Moderation https://getstream.io/moderation/ for billions of end-users across thousands of apps, from Strava and Bumble to eBay and Patreon. Our platform processes billions of API requests per month and supports applications with millions of concurrent users, while delivering highly reliable, low-latency services and a great developer experience.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative dedicated to our Video product to join Stream on our mission of elevating the quality of apps for billions of users globally. You'll build the top of our pipeline and set the tone for how prospects first experience Stream.
This is a full-time role based in our Boulder office, three days a week in the office. It's a fast way to learn technical sales and own real revenue impact early. You'll report directly to the GTM Lead for Video, working as part of a dedicated product team rather than a general sales pool, a fast way to learn technical sales in a high-demand category and own real revenue impact early.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You'll partner with our Account Executives on Video outbound, and work with managers to test new outbound ideas. Day to day, you'll write outbound messaging that's worth reading, run sharp qualification on cold calls, and personalize your outreach rather than blasting templates.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and qualify new business through targeted outbound prospecting
- Run strong discovery to understand a prospect's needs and connect them to Stream
- Book qualified meetings with ICP prospects across phone, email, LinkedIn, and creative outreach
- Work closely with AEs: join intro calls and make the handoff clean
- Hit your activity and pipeline goals by keeping the top of funnel healthy
- Keep CRM data accurate in Salesforce
- Know Stream's AI moderation product, value, ICP, and competitors well enough to speak to them naturally
ABOUT YOU
You're motivated, curious, and comfortable with a "no" on the way to a "yes." You think about outbound strategically, you like running experiments, and a fast-changing environment suits you. You're a self-starter who wants to learn the fundamentals of technical sales and contribute to revenue from the start.
You have:
- 3-6+ months of SDR or outbound lead-gen experience at a tech company
- Cold calling and emailing skills you can point to results for
- Experience with CRMs and sales engagement tools
- Strong business sense and the ability to think on your feet
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication
- Resilience: you handle rejection and stay motivated
- Experience in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Bonus points:
- Experience at a SaaS startup
- Exposure to API-driven or developer-focused products
- Experience communicating with technical personas (engineering, product)
- Familiarity with WebRTC, real-time video or livestreaming
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE EXCITING
- You're the first impression prospects get of Stream, and you influence how companies keep their platforms safe at scale.
- You sit at the start of the pipeline, so your work shows up directly in how Stream grows.
- You'll join a strong GTM team across EMEA, APAC, and the US and talk to recognizable brands.
- You'll learn fast from people who sell a genuinely technical product, and there's real room to grow into an AE or other GTM roles.
WHY JOIN STREAM?
Stream builds the real-time infrastructure behind Chat, Video, Activity Feeds, and AI Moderation for apps used by billions of people. Our aim is to become the AWS of components: we take hard technical problems and turn them into SDKs that let developers ship better apps faster.
We're a Series B company with offices in Amsterdam, Boulder, Toronto, Skopje, and a team of around 150 people from more than 35 countries. We're backed by Felicis Ventures, GGV Capital, 01 Advisors, Techstars, and Arthur Ventures, with angels including Dick Costolo (ex-CEO of Twitter), Olivier Pomel (CEO of Datadog), Tom Preston-Werner (co-founder of GitHub), and Nicolas Dessaigne (co-founder of Algolia).
We'll be straight with you: a startup is more demanding than a large company. There's no fixed playbook, you'll own your results, and you'll sometimes pick up work outside your title. That's also what makes it a fast place to grow. If you want real ownership more than structure and a set path, you'll feel at home here.
WHAT WE OFFER
- 19+ days paid time off plus 10 paid holidays
- Hybrid work (three days a week in the office)
- Health insurance for you and partial coverage for dependents (80% for health, 100% for dental and vision)
- 401k with a 4% match
- Company equity
- A fitness stipend
- A dog-friendly office
- A MacBook Pro
- A learning and development budget
- Team lunches and snacks
- An RTD pass and a free parking pass on Pearl Street
- An office on Pearl Street in downtown Boulder
- 12 weeks paid parental leave for primary parents
- The chance to attend or present at conferences and meetups
- The option to visit our Amsterdam office

AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable https://modal.com/blog/lovable-case-study, Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We recently raised a $355M Series C https://modal.com/blog/modal-series-c at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn, Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.

The ScaleOps platform dynamically manages the application's resource allocation, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The result is improved application performance, 60%–80% cloud cost savings, and a fully automated allocation process.
With well over $80 million in backing, ScaleOps has seen tremendous business growth, attracting global industry leaders to its customer base. ScaleOps automatically manages the production environments of over 50 enterprises, including Wiz, CATO Networks, Outreach, SentinelOne, Maxar, Playtika, Orca Security, EQ Bank, Outbrain, PayU, and Noname.
We're seeking an experienced AWS Alliance Lead to own the AWS relationship end-to-end co-sell, Marketplace, and partner programs and turn it into a repeatable demand-generation engine for ScaleOps. This is a quota-carrying, field-facing execution role. You will personally run the AWS co-sell motion day-to-day, activate the AWS field, and drive co-sell deals to closed-won alongside ScaleOps AEs and AWS account teams. Strategy is set; your job is to execute it and own the number. An empty job that is used for creating requisitions 'from scratch'
Requirements
2+ years running AWS co-sell / alliance work at a B2B infrastructure, cloud, observability, or DevOps SaaS company or equivalent time inside AWS (e.g. as a PDM); depth in the co-sell motion matters more than years
Has personally run an AWS co-sell motion day-to-day managing opportunities in Partner Central / ACE, working AWS account teams, and moving deals to close (Tackle experience a strong plus)
Carried or directly contributed to an AWS-sourced / co-sell-influenced pipeline or Marketplace number, comfortable owning and delivering a number through AWS
Deep AWS co-sell fluency: ISV Accelerate, Global Startup Program, ACE opportunity management, and co-selling with AWS AMs, Startup BDMs, and SAs
Working knowledge of the AWS Marketplace co-sell motion, private offers, CPPO, and EDP / MACC burn-down — enough to drive deals through it
Proven at activating the AWS field, not just accepting inbound referrals
Credible with a technical, cloud-native buyer ,understands the Kubernetes / DevOps ecosystem well enough to earn trust with AWS SAs and customer engineering teams
Hands-on individual contributor will personally run the day-to-day; this is not a management or strategy role
Strong Salesforce discipline for co-sell tracking and pipeline hygiene
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end AWS co-sell pipeline in Partner Central / ACE opportunity registration, quality scores, AO referrals, partner-originated opportunities and drive deals to closed-won alongside ScaleOps AEs and AWS account teams; keep pipeline clean in Salesforce and Tackle
Route co-sell deals through AWS Marketplace and use EDP / committed-spend (MACC) burn-down as a selling lever to grow Marketplace-sourced revenue
Manage and advance ScaleOps' standing across ISV Accelerate, the AWS Global Startup Program, Marketplace, and the EKS Add-on / Partner Central agentic ACE system; hit program requirements and unlock co-sell, MDF, and Marketplace benefits
Activate the AWS field — get AMs, Startup BDMs, and SAs to actively co-sell ScaleOps; run SA enablement, build joint seed-account lists, secure account-team introductions, and drive plays like the GPU-constraint program into AWS's GPU-constrained customers
Own the AWS relationships with our PDM, GTM PDM, account teams, SAs, and specialist teams; run the cadence, QBRs, and executive touchpoints
Own the monthly AWS scorecard (Marketplace TCV, sourced and influenced opportunities, attach rate, co-sell win rate, co-sell meetings) and be the single source of truth on AWS performance
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing (demand-gen, MDF), product/SE (EKS Add-on, GPU enablement), RevOps (pipeline and reporting), and finance (deal structure)
