About the Role
We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to help design and integrate the next generation of Base Power’s residential battery storage, inverter, and microgrid interconnect device (MID) systems. This role requires strong electrical engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience with complex energy storage hardware. You’ll play a critical role in building safe, reliable, and scalable hardware systems that power homes and communities.
What You'll Do
Design and integrate battery management systems (BMS), inverters, and MID hardware for residential energy applications.
Develop and maintain system architecture and electrical schematics for multi-component energy systems.
Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrated hardware systems.
Partner with software teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration and control algorithm development.
Support regulatory compliance and product certification processes to meet industry standards.
What You'll Bring
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of hardware development experience, ideally in energy storage or power systems.
Core Technical Knowledge:
Electrical engineering fundamentals: circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, high-voltage design.
Power electronics: DC-DC/DC-AC converters, inverters, switching power supplies, grid-tie systems.
Battery systems: Li-ion/LiFePO4 technologies, BMS design, charging algorithms, safety systems.
Software: embedded programming (C/C++, Python), communication protocols (CAN, Modbus).
Physics background in electromagnetics, thermodynamics, and measurement principles.
Tools & Software:
PCB design tools (Altium Designer, KiCad).
Circuit simulation tools (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink).
Test equipment operation.

Preferred Skills

What You'll Do
End-to-end ownership of energy storage systems (inverter, battery, Microgrid interconnect device) designs including specifications, architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, board bring up, validation, and overseeing reliability and functional testing.
Collaboration with cross functional teams (mechanical, firmware, test, reliability etc.) to see products through high volume manufacturing.
Design and execute high voltage and high current validation of inverter, battery and BMS designs.
Debug complex component interactions at the system level.

About the Role
Base is looking for a Global Supply Manager to own strategy and sourcing for the software that keeps the company running – the SaaS platforms, cloud services, developer and design tools, and the licenses, renewals, and vendor relationships behind them, relied on daily by teams across engineering, energy, operations, finance, and construction. You’ll own the category end to end, building the supplier relationships and total-cost-of-ownership discipline that keep Base’s software spend efficient as the company scales.
While experience in technology sourcing is valuable, we’re more interested in finding exceptional people who learn quickly, take ownership, and are excited to build. This is a chance to help build a sourcing organization from the ground up – with meaningful ownership, direct work with business leaders, and hands-on experience in negotiation, commercial strategy, contract drafting, supplier management, cost optimization, and executive communication from day one.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end sourcing for IT hardware, SaaS, cloud services, telecommunications, and technology-related services – developing strategies that optimize cost, quality, scalability, and supplier performance as Base grows.
Draft, review, redline, and negotiate contracts and commercial terms with software vendors, hardware manufacturers, cloud providers, and technology service providers, including licensing, subscriptions, renewals, maintenance, and support agreements – writing clear language that conveys business intent and reduces risk.
Apply benchmarking and commercial analysis to validate supplier pricing and proposals, and recommend the right commercial structure (e.g., subscription vs. perpetual licensing, consumption-based pricing, enterprise agreements) based on business needs and risk.
Partner with IT, Software Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, coaching them toward practical, cost-effective solutions.
Manage RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance.
Monitor technology markets, pricing trends, and emerging vendors to identify opportunities for savings, innovation, and risk reduction, driving continuous improvement across sourcing and vendor management.

Base is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer to contribute to deliver new manufacturing lines to produce battery backup systems. In this role you are directly responsible for the design and implementation of these manufacturing lines. You will work with cross-functional teams to establish the required functionality of the manufacturing system and bring that system into reality.
What You’ll Do
Design and launch manufacturing lines for new products being mass-produced for the first time.
Develop controls systems that merge traditional PLC logic with a modern software stack.
Be the person capable of doing it all. Perform hands-on work with full-scale production equipment, from initial commissioning to mass production and ramp.
Contribute to Base Power’s hardware and software standards for future equipment development.
Lead machine suppliers to successful project delivery. Collaborate on high-level machine and line designs decisions, lead supplier design reviews and factory acceptance testing, and coordinate across multiple internal teams to land a successful production line at any Base facility.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years programming experience in PLC or industrial controllers (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
Experience programming and setting up industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA).
Electrical schematic design using ePLAN or AutoCAD.
Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and fixing electro-mechanical devices.

About the Role
Members count on us to be there when they need help. Your job is to make sure they need it less often, and that when they do, it goes well.
You'll know when contact volume is about to spike, where performance is slipping, and why members are reaching out in the first place—because you own the data behind all of it. And when you find the cause, you're the one who fixes it, whatever form that takes: a staffing change, a new process, better tooling, or clearer information reaching members before they ever need to ask. The insight and the fix live with the same person.

What You'll Do
Understand support performance end to end—track it closely, catch problems early, and act fast when something's at risk.
Forecast what the team will need to handle what's coming, and make sure staffing and capacity keep pace.
Build the reporting and tooling that give you and leadership real visibility into how support is actually performing.
Find the root cause behind recurring issues, then fix it—not just the symptom in front of you.
Own the information and communication members rely on before, during, and after they need help, and keep improving it based on what the data tells you.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Ops to close gaps wherever they show up, regardless of which team technically owns the fix.
Hold the whole operation accountable to the metrics that actually matter to members, not just the ones that are easiest to report.
What You'll Bring
4–8+ years in a role that combined analytical rigor with direct ownership of a customer- or member-facing function—support, operations, content, or something adjacent.
Strong ability to work with data—comfortable building your own models, dashboards, and forecasts from scratch, not just reading someone else's.
Strong writing and communication instincts—you can make something complicated simple, clearly, and for a general audience.
Experience owning the tools and systems a team depends on—you've shaped how they're used, not just used them.
A bias toward root cause over triage—you'd rather fix why something keeps happening than get faster at handling it.
Comfort operating where infrastructure is still being built—you build the systems, not just work within them.
Ability to move fluidly between deep analysis and hands-on execution, and to explain either one clearly to leadership.

About the Role
Base is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer to contribute to deliver new manufacturing lines to produce battery backup systems. In this role you are directly responsible for the design and implementation of these manufacturing lines. You will work with cross-functional teams to establish the required functionality of the manufacturing system and bring that system into reality.
What You’ll Do
Design and launch manufacturing lines for new products being mass-produced for the first time.
Develop controls systems that merge traditional PLC logic with a modern software stack.
Be the person capable of doing it all. Perform hands-on work with full-scale production equipment, from initial commissioning to mass production and ramp.
Contribute to Base Power’s hardware and software standards for future equipment development.
Lead machine suppliers to successful project delivery. Collaborate on high-level machine and line designs decisions, lead supplier design reviews and factory acceptance testing, and coordinate across multiple internal teams to land a successful production line at any Base facility.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years programming experience in PLC or industrial controllers (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
Experience programming and setting up industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA).
Electrical schematic design using ePLAN or AutoCAD.
Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and fixing electro-mechanical devices.
Familiar with common hand tools and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters).
