About the Role
We're looking for an IT Administrator to join our IT team.
You'll be part of a small, high-impact team working with cutting-edge technology.
you'll be the go-to person for day-to-day technical support, employee lifecycle management, and identity/access administration across the company. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives on solving problems, and isn't afraid to dig in and figure things out.
What you'll do:
Be the person employees turn to when something's not working - help them get unblocked and back to their work quickly, with hardware, software, and account issues handled professionally
Support the employee on/off-boarding process end-to-end: account creation, access provisioning, equipment setup, and secure offboarding when employees leave
Manage and maintain our Google Workspace (GSuite) environment - users, groups, shared drives, and organizational units
Administer Okta - user provisioning, group assignments, SSO app connections, and access reviews
Maintain accurate documentation for IT processes, assets, and recurring tasks
Maintaining and setting up new automations for IT workflows and critical business use cases
Identify recurring issues and proactively suggest and implement improvements
Support other IT systems and tools as needed (endpoint management, SaaS apps, basic network troubleshooting)
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in an IT administrator or help desk role
Excellent interpersonal skills - you build trust and good relationships with people at every level of the company; service-oriented, warm, and approachable, someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and creates a positive, welcoming atmosphere
Solid hands-on experience with Google Workspace (GSuite) administration
Solid hands-on experience with Okta (user/group management, SSO, provisioning)
Proven experience managing employee on/off-boarding processes

Good communication skills in English
Nice to Have:

About the role
At Buildots, our DevOps team operates the infrastructure that powers our AI and Computer Vision platform across construction sites in 15+ countries. From data pipelines and ML workloads to backend services — you'll work with a diverse, modern, Kubernetes-based stack and have real influence on how we build, deploy, and operate.
What you'll do:
Own Multi-Cloud Infrastructure: Work alongside the team to design, scale, and operate our high-scale, multi-region production infrastructure across AWS and GCP, powering construction sites globally.
Drive Kubernetes at Scale: Manage and evolve our Kubernetes platform on EKS and leveraging GitOps practices with ArgoCD and Helm to enable safe, fast, and reliable deployments.
Build Robust CI/CD: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that empower dozens of engineers to ship confidently — with automation, testing, and progressive delivery built in.
Tackle Diverse Infrastructure Challenges: Work hands-on with a wide variety of workloads — from heavy data processing and Computer Vision pipelines to backend services and ML inference — each with unique scaling, performance, and reliability requirements.
Ensure Reliability & Observability: Build and maintain world-class observability (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting) so that issues are caught early and resolved fast. Performance, reliability, and scalability are at the core of what you do.
Security & Cost: Partner with the team to strengthen our security posture, identity and access management, compliance, and cloud cost optimization across both clouds.
Ownership from 0 to 1: You will have real influence over our architecture and tooling. We want engineers who care about shaping what we build and how we build it, ensuring performance, security, and observability are baked in from day one.
Requirements:
A seasoned DevOps / Infrastructure engineer (5+ years) with strong hands-on experience in production cloud environments.
Proven expertise operating large-scale, distributed systems — with deep understanding of Kubernetes, networking, and cloud-native architecture.
Strong experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux, or similar).

The Opportunity
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Backend Team Lead to spearhead the development of a brand-new product line within Buildots.
This is a unique "0 to 1" opportunity: you will design the architecture from the ground up, recruit your own team of talented engineers, and define the engineering culture for this new unit. You will join a company backed by top-notch investors and industry leaders, with a product already live in over 15 countries and high scale—but you will operate with the agility and ownership of a founder.
What You'll Do
Build & Lead the Team:
Recruit & Grow: Hire, onboard, and mentor a new team of highly talented engineers from scratch.
Culture: Foster a culture of technical excellence, open collaboration, and rapid iteration.
Standards: Conduct code reviews and set the standard for code quality, maintainability, and testing.
Architecture & Development (Hands-on):
0 to 1 Design: Lead the design and implementation of a complex data processing system from scratch, analyzing visual data and integrating with our existing platforms.
Hands-on Coding: Remain hands-on (approx. 50-60% coding initially), developing core features mainly in Python while laying the architectural foundations.

About You
The Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Team Lead or Tech Lead).
The Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Python (OOP, heavy data processing, or backend systems). You know how to write clean, high-performance code at scale.
Infrastructure: Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
Data Engineering: Proven experience working with relational databases and data engineering pipelines.
The "Builder" Mindset: You have experience taking a product from concept to production. You are not just maintaining legacy systems; you love the chaos and creativity of building something new.
Soft Skills: You are a natural collaborator and communicator. You know how to explain complex technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

About the Role
We're hiring a Full-Stack Team Lead for our product engineering group. Two things make this a good time to join:
First, we have a lot of new product to build. You'll work on interfaces over 360° walkthroughs, drone imagery, 2D plans, 3D models, and large data grids. There’s plenty of greenfield work on our roadmap alongside an established product.
Second, we're actively reshaping our engineering workflow around AI coding tools. We want this role to help lead that - not just adopt the tools, but shape how the team uses them, what we build with them, and what good looks like a year or two from now.
You'll lead a small full-stack team, own features end-to-end, and stay hands-on. You'll work closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams. We're open to different backgrounds: a frontend lead growing into backend, a balanced full-stack engineer, or a backend lead with solid frontend skills. What matters is that you can lead, learn, and get things done.
What You'll Do
Lead and grow a small full-stack team.
Code across the stack: React and TypeScript on the frontend, Python, Django, and Postgres on the backend.
Own features end-to-end - UI, API, data models, background work.
Build interfaces over complex data: 360° walkthroughs, drone imagery, floor plans, 3D BIM models, large data grids.
Help shape how the engineering org uses AI coding agents day-to-day.
Work closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams.
Hire, onboard, and grow your team.
Requirements
5+ years in software engineering, with strong hands-on React and TypeScript.
Some backend experience, or a clear track record of picking up new areas fast.
Experience leading a team or owning significant projects. Senior engineers with informal leadership experience ready for a first formal management role are welcome.
Working fluency with AI coding agents in your day-to-day work - sustained, hands-on use of tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex over recent months. We're looking for someone who tinkers with these tools at work and outside of it, tries new things often, and forms real opinions about what works.
Strong technical judgment, clear communication, collaborative by default.
Nice to Have
Production experience with Python, Django, or similar backends.
AWS and Postgres at non-trivial scale.
Experience building on top of AI tooling - custom commands, MCP servers, agent workflows, internal LLM tooling.
Previous startup experience.
