The Role
This is an ML infrastructure role at the core of Hadrian’s technology stack. While Data Science, Operations Research, Vision, and Document AI teams build models, you will own the platform that ensures these models remain reliable, effective, and secure in production. You’ll standardize our deployment patterns built around MLflow, Dagster, ECR, FastAPI, and EKS, making them the backbone for packaging, evaluating, releasing, serving, monitoring, and rolling back models across Hadrian’s automated factories.
What You’ll Do
Build the production platform that enables Hadrian’s factories to safely depend on models for drawing extraction, cycle-time prediction, forecasting, scheduling, and more—with measurable performance and fast rollback.
Develop shared batch and online serving for tabular, vision, document-AI, scheduling, graph, and embedding workloads, targeting clear SLAs for latency, availability, and isolation.
Create repeatable release and evaluation processes featuring automated tests, reproducible artifacts, lineage, shadow deployments, canaries, and A/B tests.
Own online feature serving and maintain contract integrity with offline feature tables; proactively detect and address training-serving skew, feature drift, bad data, and model degradation.
Build operational tooling for telemetry, incident response, autoscaling, resource and GPU management, cost attribution, and secure model routing.
Develop APIs, SDKs, reusable templates, and documentation that teams can adopt without requiring close support from platform engineers.
What We’re Looking For
Track record building and operating production ML infrastructure across multiple models or inference workloads.
Strong production-level Python and SQL skills, including typing, testing, packaging, API design, and building observability features.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and handling distributed-system failure modes such as retries, partial failures, idempotence, and resource isolation.
Engineering background with model registries, feature systems, batch/real-time inference, experiment tracking, or model CI/CD workflows.
Practical judgment around latency, throughput, availability, multi-tenancy, autoscaling, and infrastructure cost optimizations.
Ability to build stable interfaces and collaborate closely with engineering and scientific stakeholders.
What Will Set You Apart
Experience implementing feature stores (Feast, Tecton, or internal systems).
Production work with Ray Serve, KServe, Triton, BentoML, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or custom gRPC inference services.
Experience serving and evaluating vision, document-understanding, embedding, or generative pipelines.
Expertise in GPU inference optimization, multi-model serving, edge inference, or Go/Rust performance-sensitive AI services.
Background in regulated environments or open-source contributions to ML infrastructure projects (MLflow, Feast, KServe, Ray).
Compensation
Salary range: $170,000 – $300,000

The Role:
As our Tech Lead overseeing Offensive Security, you will build and lead Hadrian’s offensive security capability from the ground up. Hadrian’s software-defined, ITAR-controlled factories are a high-value target, and your job is to find what an adversary would find first — across our manufacturing software, robotics and OT, cloud, corporate systems, physical devices, and AI. This is a hands-on principal role for someone who has done elite red-team work and wants to own an entire offensive function.
What You’ll Do
Build and run Hadrian’s offensive security function: red-team operations, penetration testing, and adversary emulation across software, robotics/OT, cloud, and physical devices.
Perform reverse engineering and vulnerability research on firmware, embedded controllers, and third-party components in our manufacturing environment.
Develop AI-driven offensive tooling to scale coverage, and assess the security of Hadrian’s own AI and autonomy systems.
Drive findings to remediation with engineering and the blue team, run purple-team exercises, and measure risk reduction over time.
Represent Hadrian’s security posture to customers, auditors, and DoD stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
Deep, hands-on red-team and penetration-testing experience at a top-tier engineering organization (e.g., Block, Stripe, Anthropic, Google, AWS).
Strong reverse engineering skills (Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja) and a track record of finding and weaponizing real vulnerabilities.
Proficiency building offensive tooling in Python, Go, or C/C++ and leveraging AI to accelerate offensive work.
Ability to operate fully autonomously — set strategy and own outcomes without a team beneath you at the start.
Must be a U.S. person under ITAR (see requirements below).

The Role
The Autonomous Factory Systems team builds the software that gives Hadrian's factories the ability to sense, decide, and act autonomously. This includes the core robotics stack — perception, behaviors, planning, collision avoidance, and high-level control — alongside orchestration between robots and manufacturing machines and the hardware abstraction layer that connects our software to the machines on the floor.
You will build and manage a team of engineers focused on the robotics side of this stack. This is a people-first management role: your focus is on hiring, growing, and supporting a strong team, while staying close enough to the technical work to help guide direction and staffing decisions.
What You’ll Do
Own the people leadership of your engineers: hiring, onboarding, mentorship, career growth, and performance.
Build a hiring engine for robotics talent — define the bar, run a strong interview process, and help recruit a top-tier team across perception, planning, behaviors, and control.
Ensure engineers are engaged, growing, and set up to do their best work; regularly assess team health and address issues before they become problems.
Have real input into technical direction and where we invest headcount, in close partnership with the engineers and technical leads who drive architecture and design.
Partner with Hardware, Controls, Product, and Operations to translate business priorities into a sequenced roadmap, and make sure the team is resourced and organized to deliver it.
Continuously improve the team's engineering practices and developer lifecycle: planning, design review, code review, testing, simulation, deployment, on-call, and incident response.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of engineering management experience leading robotics, autonomy, or other complex technical teams in production.
A genuine passion for people management — you care about your engineers' growth and happiness as much as you care about what the team ships.
A track record of hiring and building strong technical teams, including for hard-to-fill or specialized roles.
Technical fluency in robotics concepts (perception, planning, behaviors, control, collision avoidance) to have informed conversations about tradeoffs, evaluate technical leads' proposals, and contribute a useful point of view on direction and prioritization — without needing to be the architect yourself.
Strong judgment on organizational design: how to structure a team, allocate headcount across projects, and balance depth vs. breadth as the stack grows.

Within Additive Manufacturing, you'll be the go to technical resource for process development, owning how we build, iterate, and automate the way we develop and mature our additive processes across various types of additive manufacturing. We're not approaching this the way additive has traditionally been done. We're rethinking it from the ground up, using automation, AI, and new software tools to move past the constraints that have limited additive. You'll be the process expert tying materials, process, and in process monitoring together, delivering the kind of innovative approach that lets us move quickly and work past the time constraints that have historically slowed this work down. This role is for someone ready to be challenged and take on highly technical work with the resources to push for innovation in additive manufacturing, helping build and refine the tools and processes that make our additive capabilities faster and more scalable over time.
The Role
Lead process and parameter development for additive processes, with a primary focus on metals. Executing DOEs to define and measure process windows and drive machine, material, and process readiness.
Drive adoption of in situ monitoring, statistical process control, and digital traceability records.
Build software tools internally, or evaluate and implement existing tools on the market, to accelerate parameter development and process automation.
Continuously research, evaluate, and bring in novel tools and technologies that support and strengthen process development capability.
Design and build automated workflows and creative methods to efficiently validate and implement.
Serve as the point of contact for developing specific parameter needs tied to unique part geometries or to overcome platform specific challenges.
Work closely with the materials engineering team to roll out, validate, and implement new parameters and processes into production.
Work cross functionally with applications engineers, materials engineers, systems engineers, software engineering, and welding engineers.
What We're Looking For
Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
3+ years of experience developing and optimizing parameters and processes for additive manufacturing, with a strong focus on metal processes.
Hands on experience with additive manufacturing equipment and software, including build processors or process simulation tools.
Experience building or improving automated workflows, scripting, or tooling to speed up process or parameter development.
Ability to work closely with materials engineering to translate new materials into validated, production ready processes.
Comfort working in an undefined space, building new processes and tools rather than relying on established norms.
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for ITAR compliance).

Extensive experience in LPBF as the primary process, with DED experience as a secondary strength.
Background in aerospace, aviation, defense, energy, or similar industries with high specification requirements.
