Overview
Application
Our mission is to help small businesses run themselves. We’re starting with doctors’ offices, building autonomous systems that handle busywork and complete the workflows that keep the office moving every day. Our team is small, flat, and ambitious. We value craft, intellectual rigor, and direct communication.
About the role
We're hiring a design-minded engineer to build the control plane for powerful agents handling billing and medical records. Real patients and real practices depend on these systems. You'll craft interfaces that make autonomous agents feel trustworthy and effortless to supervise.
We take a consumer approach to healthcare software: approachable, elegant, and sweating the details. The product spans onboarding, human-in-the-loop review, the tools practice owners use to understand their business, and more.
You will be a great fit if you…
Strive for great, not good, and iterate until you get there
Take pride in building software that feels fast and effortless
Look for leverage: using tools, automation, and process to multiply your impact
Have strong fundamentals in JavaScript and browser APIs
Believe healthcare software should be as delightful as consumer products
Some things we've built
A sync engine backed by encrypted SQLite in the browser, enabling 100ms experiences for healthcare payments and patient ledgers
Systems that eliminate thousands of hours of paperwork every month
Data pipelines processing $1B+ in insurance claims
Technology we use
We invest heavily in productivity. Engineers should have the best tools for the job and the freedom to choose them.
TypeScript, React, Tailwind
Python (Django, Pydantic AI), Postgres, Redis
Google Cloud Platform, Vercel
Linear, Slack, Notion
Joining us
To start, you'll have a handful of conversations with our team and founders. If there is mutual excitement, we'll invite you to the office where you'll work on a small project and meet the team.

About the role
We're hiring an engineer to build the AI agents that run doctor's offices.
These are production systems handling real money and real patient data for thousands of practices. You'll work across the full stack: agent architectures, data pipelines, evals, and the infrastructure that makes it all reliable.
You will be a great fit if you…
Are excited to work with frontier models
Engineer for reliability and correctness, not just functionality
Diagnose and resolve live production incidents with minimal disruption
Automate away repetitive work and build tooling that makes engineering faster and safer
Design schemas and pipelines for large-scale datasets to power applied AI
Are comfortable working across databases, caches, proxies, and job orchestration systems

We value craft, intellectual rigor, and direct communication.
About the role
We're hiring a software engineer to own the systems that power the entire customer journey: how practices find us, sign up, and go live.
Independent health practices are stretched thin and need better tools. You'll help them discover Lassie and get successful fast. Working closely with sales and product, you'll build infrastructure that makes deals close smoothly and new customers successful from day one.
This role is ideal for someone who loves experimenting, moves fast, and wants to see their work directly impact revenue.
You will be a great fit if you…
Are excited about experimenting, being wrong, and thinking from first principles
Create tools and systems that multiply the impact of sales and engineering
Collaborate directly with sales to turn messy workflows into streamlined systems
Influence how we approach marketing, brand, and distribution
Work across Python, TypeScript, various databases, serverless environments, and Salesforce, even if some are new to you
Some things we've built
Purpose-built growth and onboarding infrastructure that shortens the demo-to-close cycle from weeks to hours
Data pipelines processing $1B+ in insurance claims
