GTM Engineer
USA
Apply
Neo Security is hiring a GTM Engineer to sit at the intersection of revenue marketing and AI-powered engineering. This is a hands-on, builder-focused role: you'll design and ship the automations, agents, and data workflows that make our marketing and revenue engine faster, smarter, and more personalized than what off-the-shelf tools alone can do. You'll spend your time equally between wiring up best-in-class AI and marketing tools and writing the scripts, prompts, and lightweight applications that connect them, fill their gaps, and push them further than out-of-the-box functionality allows.
As an AI-native security company, we expect our own marketing function to reflect the same edge we sell to customers. This role suits someone who is part growth marketer, part technical builder — comfortable in a spreadsheet, an API playground, and an LLM prompt window in the same afternoon, and who gets genuine energy from finding the newest AI tool or technique before most of the market has heard of it.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows and automations across the revenue funnel — lead scoring and enrichment, intent signal aggregation, personalized outbound, and lifecycle nurture.
Build custom internal tools, scripts, and lightweight agents (using LLM APIs, no-code/low-code platforms, and traditional code) to close gaps between off-the-shelf marketing and sales tools.
Evaluate, pilot, and integrate bleeding-edge AI tools and platforms into the GTM stack, moving quickly from experimentation to production where it delivers real results.
Own integrations across the marketing and sales tech stack (CRM, marketing automation, data warehouse, enrichment/intent providers), ensuring clean, connected data flows.
Partner with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Sales to identify high-leverage opportunities where automation and AI can increase pipeline, personalization, or team efficiency.
Build and maintain AI-assisted content and campaign workflows (e.g., dynamic personalization at scale, automated research/briefing for outbound, AI-assisted creative variants) in partnership with content and campaign owners.
Prototype quickly, measure impact rigorously, and kill or scale experiments based on results rather than novelty.
Maintain documentation and internal enablement so non-technical marketing and sales teammates can use the tools and workflows you build.
Monitor the reliability, cost, and performance of AI-powered systems in production, iterating as models and tools evolve.
Stay deeply plugged into the AI tooling landscape (new models, agent frameworks, GTM-specific AI products) and bring relevant innovations back to the team.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a technical marketing, growth engineering, marketing operations, or GTM engineering role, ideally at a B2B SaaS or AI company.
Hands-on coding ability (e.g., Python, JavaScript) sufficient to build scripts, automations, and lightweight tools/integrations independently.
Practical experience building with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and/or AI agent frameworks, beyond just using off-the-shelf AI features.
Strong working knowledge of the modern marketing/RevOps stack (CRM, marketing automation, data warehouse, enrichment and intent data tools) and how to integrate them via APIs or iPaaS tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Workato).
A demand generation or growth marketing mindset — comfortable thinking in terms of pipeline, conversion, and funnel metrics, not just tooling for its own sake.
Strong bias toward rapid prototyping and iteration, with good judgment about when to build versus buy versus stop.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills, able to translate technical builds into business impact for marketing and sales stakeholders.
Genuine enthusiasm for staying current on cutting-edge AI tools, techniques, and platforms.
Based in the United States, able to work remotely across U.S. time zones.
Nice to Haves
Experience building AI agents or multi-step automated workflows for sales/marketing use cases (e.g., automated account research, AI SDR-style outbound, dynamic content generation).
Experience with data pipelines and warehousing (e.g., SQL, dbt, Snowflake/BigQuery) to support more advanced reporting and personalization use cases.
Prior experience in a startup environment building GTM systems and tools from scratch rather than working within an established stack.
Familiarity with ABM and intent data platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, Clay) and how to extend or combine them with custom tooling.
Experience in cybersecurity or another technical, security-conscious industry.
A public presence or portfolio (e.g., blog, GitHub, case studies) demonstrating GTM/AI builds you've shipped.

About the Role
Build the agent that Neo's whole product depends on: a privileged, cross-platform systems program written in Rust. Everything Neo shows a security team starts on the endpoint. A sensor runs on every customer machine, takes inventory of the software and AI tools in use, sends that back over an encrypted channel, and enforces policy locally. It runs as a service on Windows and a daemon on macOS, with the access and the responsibility that come with running as SYSTEM and root. This role owns the hard parts of it.
What you'll work on
The sensor itself: software inventory, secure telemetry, and on-device policy enforcement, on both Windows and macOS.
Real OS work. On macOS that means Launch Services, Spotlight, IOKit, the Security framework, and Open Directory. On Windows it means services, ETW, WMI, the registry, and WinSock
The policy enforcement point: evaluating rules over events (including AI-tool use and browser extensions) against a policy engine, and talking to the backend that makes the decisions.
Encrypted logging and telemetry, crash handling and symbolication, and the recovery path that keeps the agent running and hard to tamper with
Signed installers and macOS configuration profiles.
Tech you'll work with
The work is low-level systems development in Rust, close to the operating system across Windows, macOS, and Linux - memory, processes, files, and the OS internals that expose them. Alongside that, you'll lean hard on agentic coding tools; deep fluency with at least one is central to how we work, not a bonus. Expect to range across the stack - OS internals, AI tooling internals, CI, and a fair amount of reverse engineering - and to learn the parts you don't know yet.
What we're looking for
Several years of systems programming in Rust, C, or C++, working close to the OS.
Hands-on experience with the internals of at least one of Windows or macOS (services or daemons, process and file APIs, security frameworks), and the willingness to learn the other.
Care with correctness and failure handling. This code runs as root and SYSTEM, and it can't crash on a customer's machine.
Comfort with concurrency, IPC, and debugging problems that only show up on real hardware.
Nice to have
Endpoint security, EDR, or MDM background.
Code signing, installer packaging, or driver-adjacent work.
Cryptography, crash handling, or telemetry pipelines.

Sales Engineer - Northern California
San Francisco, CA

Neo Security is hiring a Sales Engineer to be the technical backbone of our Northern California area enterprise sales team. You'll partner directly with Enterprise Sales Representatives to run technical discovery, deliver demos and proofs of concept, and guide prospects through security and technical evaluations. You'll be the trusted technical voice in the sales cycle — translating prospects' architecture and security requirements into a compelling, credible case for Neo Security, and translating prospect feedback back into the product and engineering teams.
This role suits someone who enjoys being customer-facing but stays close to the technical details, can speak fluently with security and infrastructure engineers, and thrives in the fast pace of a growing enterprise sales motion.
What You'll Do
Partner with Enterprise Sales Representatives on assigned accounts, acting as the primary technical resource throughout the sales cycle.
Run technical discovery calls to understand a prospect's environment, architecture, and security requirements.
Deliver tailored product demos and presentations to technical and executive audiences, translating capabilities into business value.
Design, scope, and run proofs of concept (POCs) and technical evaluations, working hands-on in prospect environments as needed.
Respond to technical questions in RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires, and support the vendor security review process common in enterprise deals.
Build and maintain demo environments, POC templates, and technical collateral to make the sales team more efficient.
Act as the voice of the customer internally, feeding technical objections, competitive intel, and feature gaps back to Product and Engineering.
Support onboarding and technical handoff to Customer Success/Implementation teams after deals close.
Stay current on Neo Security's product roadmap, the competitive landscape, and broader security industry trends.
Represent Neo Security at regional customer meetings, conferences, and events across Northern California.
Requirements
4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or another technical B2B SaaS product.
Strong technical foundation in security concepts (network security, cloud security, identity, endpoint, or a related domain relevant to Neo Security's product).
Proven ability to run compelling technical demos and proofs of concept with enterprise customers.
Comfortable engaging with both highly technical practitioners (security engineers, IT admins) and executive stakeholders (CISOs, VPs of IT/Security).
Experience responding to security questionnaires and supporting technical procurement/vendor review processes.
Hands-on scripting or technical troubleshooting skills sufficient to configure demo environments and debug POC issues independently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for varied audiences.
Based in or near San Francisco, CA, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule and travel regionally for customer and prospect meetings as needed.
Nice to Haves
Prior hands-on experience as a security engineer, network engineer, or IT administrator before moving into a pre-sales role.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, cloud provider security certifications).
Experience supporting sales cycles in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance) common in the SF Bay are enterprise market.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) that come up during technical evaluations.
Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup, helping build out pre-sales process and collateral rather than just using an existing playbook.
Scripting/development experience (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) for building custom demo integrations.

Neo Security is hiring a Federal Sales Engineer to be the technical partner to our federal sales team, based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. You'll support the full federal sales cycle — technical discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and security/compliance evaluations — for civilian agencies, defense, and intelligence community customers and partners. You'll also serve as the technical bridge between the field and our product, compliance, and engineering teams, ensuring Neo Security meets the specific technical and authorization requirements of the federal market.
This role suits a technically strong Sales/Solutions Engineer who understands how federal buyers evaluate and procure security software, is comfortable navigating agency-specific requirements (FedRAMP, StateRAMP, ATO processes), and can translate those requirements into clear guidance for both the sales team and the customer.
What You'll Do
Partner with Federal Sales Representatives and channel/reseller partners on technical discovery, demos, and evaluations across civilian, defense, and intelligence community accounts.
Design, scope, and run proofs of concept and technical evaluations tailored to federal agency environments, including on-premises, air-gapped, or GovCloud deployments as required.
Support responses to federal RFPs/RFIs, security questionnaires, and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation requests.
Serve as a technical resource on FedRAMP, StateRAMP, and other federal compliance frameworks relevant to Neo Security's product.
Build and maintain federal-specific demo environments, technical collateral, and compliance documentation to support the sales team.
Act as the voice of the federal customer internally, feeding agency-specific technical and compliance requirements back to Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
Support partners and systems integrators working alongside Neo Security on federal opportunities with technical enablement and joint solution design.
Represent Neo Security at federal-focused industry events, briefings, and conferences in the D.C. area.
Support post-sale technical handoff to Customer Success/Implementation teams for federal accounts.
Stay current on the federal security compliance landscape (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, CMMC) and how it affects Neo Security's product and go-to-market.
Requirements
4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect, including experience supporting federal government sales cycles.
Working knowledge of federal compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, or CMMC.
Experience supporting RFP/RFI responses and ATO documentation requests for federal customers.
Proven ability to run technical demos and proofs of concept tailored to federal agency environments, including familiarity with GovCloud or on-premises/air-gapped deployment models.
Comfortable engaging with both technical practitioners and program/contracting stakeholders within federal agencies.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and compliance topics clearly.
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance may be required depending on account assignment.
Based in or able to work from the Washington, D.C. metro area, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule and travel as needed for agency and partner meetings.
Nice to Haves
Existing active federal security clearance (Public Trust, Secret, or Top Secret).
Prior experience working for or directly with a federal agency, systems integrator, or defense contractor.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) valued in federal technical evaluations.
Experience supporting FedRAMP authorization processes (e.g., as part of a 3PAO engagement or internal authorization team).
Familiarity with federal procurement vehicles (GSA Schedule, SEWP, CIO-SP3) and how they affect the sales and technical evaluation process.
Experience at an early-stage or high-growth company building out a federal go-to-market motion from the ground up.
