Backend Engineer
Senior Backend Engineer
Senior Backend Engineer (Taipei)
We're seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer with a strong product-oriented mindset to help scale the systems powering our healthtech platform. You'll be at the center of our engineering efforts — architecting for scale, failure, and change, and building features that hold up under real-world edge cases, not just the happy path.
System design and operational maturity will be core to how you ship: writing correct, readable code, thinking through how things break after they're live, and knowing how you'd catch it at 2am. Ideal candidates are technically strong with a solid system design foundation, demonstrate a clear product mindset and startup mentality, and bring great communication and interpersonal skills — able to explain hard ideas to non-experts, scope a vague need into a shippable v1, and collaborate well across functions.
