We are seeking a Principal Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to serve as the technical authority for the GNC subsystem across multiple spacecraft programs, leading architecture, design, procurement, integration, and verification.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Own the end-to-end GNC/ACS architecture from concept development through flight operations.
Own GNC subsystem level requirements.
Lead spacecraft attitude and control system design, including actuator sizing, sensor selection, control authority, and momentum management strategy.
Define and implement control laws for high-ΔV maneuvering, precision pointing, station-keeping, and proximity operations.
Architect state estimation frameworks (EKF/UKF, sensor fusion pipelines, covariance management) for robust on-orbit performance.
Develop and maintain high-fidelity 6DOF spacecraft simulation environments for analysis, trade studies, verification, and anomaly resolution.
Establish GNC verification and validation strategy across analysis, SIL/HIL, hardware integration, and flight test.
Support propulsion-coupled dynamics modeling, including thrust misalignment, slosh effects, and flexible-body considerations as needed.
Lead GNC participation in system-level reviews (MCR, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and serve as the primary technical voice for the discipline.
Analyze flight telemetry and test data to assess performance, diagnose anomalies, and drive configuration or algorithm updates.
Define safe-mode, fault management, and degraded control strategies in partnership with FSW and systems engineering.
Mentor and manage GNC engineers, establishing best practices, code standards, simulation frameworks, and technical rigor across the team.
Support early-orbit operations and critical mission phases as required.
What It Takes
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
15+ years of experience in spacecraft GNC/ACS development, including full lifecycle flight programs.
Demonstrated ownership of a spacecraft attitude and/or orbit control system through design, integration, and flight.
Deep expertise in rigid-body dynamics, orbital mechanics, estimation theory, and modern control methods.
Strong experience with thruster-based ACS architectures and propulsion-coupled control systems.
Proven ability to independently architect GNC systems and make system-level trade decisions.
Experience implementing flight algorithms in C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink, with awareness of real-time constraints.
Experience integrating GNC with flight software and avionics, including SIL/HIL validation.
Ability to analyze telemetry and diagnose complex on-orbit or integrated system anomalies.
Systems-level thinking across propulsion, avionics, software, and mission design.
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship experience.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, hardware-integrated environment with evolving mission needs.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience with high-ΔV vehicles, cislunar missions, GEO servicing, or RPO missions.
Experience designing control systems for agile or propulsive maneuvering spacecraft.
Background in autonomous maneuver planning or onboard decision-making systems.
Experience with flexible-body dynamics, propellant slosh modeling, or structural-control interaction.
Familiarity with MAX FSW and MAX GDS or other modern COTS flight software frameworks.
Experience with multi-agent relative navigation or machine learning for estimation, perception, or task planning.
Experience leading small technical teams in startup or NewSpace environments.
Prior support of on-orbit commissioning or anomaly resolution efforts.

We are seeking a Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to develop the algorithms, analyses, and flight capabilities that enable our spacecraft to navigate, maneuver, and operate autonomously across a diverse range of space missions. In this role, you will own GNC subsystem development throughout the spacecraft lifecycle, including mission analysis, modeling and simulation, guidance, navigation, and control algorithm development, flight software integration, hardware integration and test, verification and validation, and on-orbit mission support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about building next-generation space systems that support mission success.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Develop high-fidelity spacecraft dynamics and GNC simulation environments to support analysis, verification, and mission design.
Implement and tune control laws for attitude control, momentum management, orbit maneuvering, RPO, and station-keeping.
Perform state estimation design and analysis (EKF/UKF, sensor fusion, GPS/IMU, star tracker & sun sensor pipelines).
Support integration of GNC algorithms into flight software, including validation through unit test, SIL/HIL, and full-vehicle simulation.
Collaborate with avionics and sensor teams to define GNC-related ICDs, data flows, timing, and performance budgets.
Analyze both on-orbit and testbed telemetry to evaluate GNC performance and inform updates to algorithms and configuration.
Develop tools that improve autonomous maneuver planning, control margin analysis, and attitude/orbit estimation accuracy.
Support safe-mode and fault management logic development in partnership with FSW and systems engineering.
Work with the systems team to specify hardware components based on system requirements, and coordinate with vendors to acquire hardware that meet program cost and schedule targets.
Develop and execute GNC hardware acceptance and performance test plans and procedures.
Participate in MCR/PDR/CDR, test readiness reviews, and support operations during early-orbit commissioning when needed.
Contribute to rapid iteration cycles that refine autonomy and maneuverability across successive spacecraft builds.
What It Takes
B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
3–8+ years of experience in spacecraft or high-reliability GNC development.
Strong foundation in rigid-body dynamics, orbital mechanics, and classical/modern control theory.
Experience implementing estimation and control algorithms in C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience with sensor fusion for spacecraft-relevant sensors (IMUs, star trackers, sun sensors, GNSS, ranging sensors).
Familiarity with flight software integration, SIL/HIL testing, and simulation pipelines.
Ability to analyze telemetry, validate performance, and debug GNC-related anomalies.
Systems-level awareness across avionics, software, and dynamics.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hardware-integrated environment with shifting priorities.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience with RPO, proximity operations, autonomous maneuver planning, or high-ΔV vehicle dynamics.

We are seeking a Spacecraft GNC Integration & Test Engineer to lead integration, verification, validation, and hardware testing of the Guidance, Navigation & Control subsystem. In this role, you will own GNC hardware integration, anomaly resolution, and subsystem verification from component integration through flight acceptance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working where simulation meets flight hardware.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Own integration, verification, validation, and flight acceptance of the spacecraft Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) subsystem from engineering development through spacecraft delivery.
Develop, document, execute, and automate GNC verification procedures supporting subsystem, system, qualification, acceptance, and environmental testing.
Plan and execute GNC hardware characterization and calibration activities, including inertial sensor characterization (Allan variance, bias instability, and angular random walk), sensor alignment, timing synchronization and phasing, and spacecraft magnetic characterization campaigns.
Develop and operate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), FlatSat, and closed-loop simulation environments to verify flight software and spacecraft behavior.
Integrate and validate spacecraft sensors, actuators, avionics, propulsion, and flight software while troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-level anomalies.
Correlate high-fidelity simulation results with hardware test data to validate GNC algorithms, dynamic models, estimation performance, and control system behavior.
Perform Monte Carlo analyses and mission-level performance assessments to verify spacecraft operating modes, robustness, and requirements compliance across expected uncertainties and disturbances.
Analyze spacecraft telemetry and test data to identify root cause, recommend corrective actions, and improve GNC subsystem performance throughout integration, environmental test, and flight operations.
Develop verification evidence supporting requirements closure and participate in technical reviews.
Collaborate closely with systems, flight software, avionics, propulsion, mission design, and mission operations teams to deliver a fully verified and flight-ready spacecraft.
What It Takes
B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
3–8+ years of experience in spacecraft or high-reliability GNC development.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer III / IV to support our Spacecraft Programs by leading the design, development, integration, and testing of spacecraft Avionics, Electrical Power, or Communications subsystems. This role is intended for an experienced engineer capable of owning subsystem architecture, interface definition, integration planning, verification, and flight readiness across complex spacecraft programs.
You will collaborate with systems, propulsion, thermal, mechanical, GNC, flight software, manufacturing, and AI&T teams to deliver reliable flight hardware for next-generation Ranger spacecraft.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
Own the end-to-end development of a spacecraft electrical subsystem (Avionics, Power, or Communications) by deriving requirements, performing subsystem analyses, executing technical trade studies, and defining subsystem architectures.
Resolve complex integration challenges and make critical system-level technical decisions throughout spacecraft development.
Author and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs/EICDs), requirements, test procedures, and technical documentation.
Support spacecraft AI&T, environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC), launch campaigns, and anomaly resolution.
Coordinate suppliers, hardware vendors, manufacturing partners, and schedule-critical deliveries.
Participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR, and other technical reviews.
Mentor junior engineers (Level IV expected to provide technical leadership).
What It Takes
S. in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (M.S. preferred).
Engineer III: typically 7+ years of relevant spacecraft electrical engineering experience.
Engineer IV: typically 10+ years of progressively responsible spacecraft electrical engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
Experience in Avionics, Electrical Power Systems, RF Communications, or related spacecraft electrical subsystem development.
Experience with spacecraft interfaces including RS-422/485, LVDS, SpaceWire, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, and Discrete I/O.
Experience developing subsystem requirements, ICDs, integration plans, and verification documentation.
Strong systems engineering mindset, troubleshooting ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Comfortable working in fast-paced spacecraft development environments.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Spacecraft mission operations or long-duration mission experience.
Radiation, reliability, fault tolerance, EMI/EMC, and EEE parts knowledge.
Cadence, Altium, OrCAD, LTSpice, or similar ECAD/simulation tools.
FPGA-based systems including hardware and VHDL/Verilog design
Python scripting, automation, and hardware test development.
National security or defense-related spacecraft programs.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams (Level IV).

Who We’re Looking For
An experienced Information Systems Administrator to provide day-to-day technical administration for information technology, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives across the organization. This role supports IT systems, software, cybersecurity, and infrastructure planning and implementation, while coordinating closely with engineering programs and external partners as needed.

Supporting day-to-day technical implementation of information technology, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives within the organization
Provide technical advice and administration for all company IT resources and software account
Coordinates and manages assets including procurement, provisioning, maintenance, and deprovisioning
May participate in identification, evaluation and recommendations on IT based solutions and vendors
Supports the implementation and administration of cyber security systems to protect all Quantum Space devices, software, and related IT systems
Facilitate the implementation of software and hardware systems necessary for efficient business operations throughout Quantum Space
What It Takes
Provide advanced support of a diverse array of operating systems across platforms: Linux (Debian-based and RHEL-based distributions), macOS, and Windows

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
Knowledge of IdP/SAML integration
Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, micro-services, and IaaS / PaaS / SaaS services
Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment and source control services, support, and deployment
The ability to troubleshoot software and OS issues through data aggregation and log review
Coordination of project activities and work for engineering programs
The ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, including development of playbooks, runbooks, and procedures
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in System Administration, DevOps, cloud, and network support
CompTIA Security+ certification and the ability to maintain DoD 8570.01 IAT/IAM certification
The ability to hold and maintain a security clearance

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Network & Information Systems Administrator to design, implement, secure, and maintain the enterprise IT infrastructure that powers Quantum Space's engineering, manufacturing, and corporate operations. In this role, you will combine systems administration, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management to ensure the availability, security, and performance of mission-critical information systems supporting spacecraft development and business operations.
Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, security, and corporate teams, you will play a key role in supporting secure collaboration, regulatory compliance, and technology innovation across the organization. This position is ideal for an IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building secure, scalable infrastructure supporting advanced aerospace programs.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Design, deploy, secure, and administer enterprise network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies
Monitor and maintain network and systems performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and operational efficiency
Manage virtual networking and infrastructure hosted within Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments
Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, storage platforms, virtualization environments, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions
Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity lifecycle management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies
Manage enterprise endpoint deployment, system configuration, software distribution, patch management, and lifecycle maintenance
Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls aligned with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, ITAR, and industry best practices
Monitor security events, investigate incidents, coordinate remediation activities, and support vulnerability management initiatives
Administer file services, permissions, data storage, backup strategies, and business continuity processes
Support engineering software licensing, CAD environments, and specialized technical applications supporting spacecraft development
Develop and maintain network diagrams, infrastructure documentation, asset inventories, system configurations, and standard operating procedures
Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for engineering, manufacturing, and corporate users
Coordinate with vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners to resolve infrastructure and security issues
Participate in infrastructure modernization projects, technology deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support cybersecurity audits, compliance activities, and government contracting requirements
What It Takes
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and systems
Experience managing Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Entra ID environments
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VPN technologies, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and enterprise networking principles
Experience administering virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies
Experience implementing enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices
Experience supporting Windows desktop environments and enterprise endpoint management
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or government contracting organizations
Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), ITAR, and other government cybersecurity compliance frameworks

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Engineering Lead to help shape the technical strategies behind some of the industry's most critical space missions.
This role serves as the technical architect for strategic pursuits, translating customer needs into innovative, executable mission solutions that position Quantum Space for long-term growth and competitive success. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, business development, capture, and executive leadership—developing mission architectures, evaluating technical approaches, establishing discriminators, and guiding solution strategies throughout the business development lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in space systems engineering with strong strategic thinking and customer-focused solution development. You understand how to balance mission performance, technical risk, cost, schedule, and operational effectiveness while creating differentiated solutions that address complex customer challenges.
You are comfortable moving seamlessly between technical and strategic discussions, collaborating with engineers, capture managers, program leaders, executives, and government stakeholders to develop compelling mission concepts and winning technical approaches.
