THE ROLE
As a Sr. Channel Sales Engineer, you are the technical lead for our partner ecosystem. You make resellers, distributors, MSSPs, and system integrators good at selling and deploying WitnessAI, and you join their deals when it counts.
This is a hands-on role. You will set the standard for how partners run demos and proofs of concept, and bring partner feedback back to Product and Sales. You work day to day with the Channel team, Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Enable partner technical teams. Train partner sales engineers and architects on the WitnessAI platform, the AI security market, and how to position us against legacy tools. Run onboarding, certification, and refresher sessions.
- Support partner-led deals. Join partner calls and customer meetings to run demos, answer technical questions, and scope requirements. Step in on strategic deals, then coach partners to run the next one on their own.
- Run proofs of concept. Define POC plans and success criteria with partners and customers. Guide the deployment, troubleshoot issues, and drive each POC to a clear decision.
- Build partner technical assets. Create reference architectures, demo environments, deployment guides, battlecards, and talk tracks that partners can use without us in the room.
- Partner on pipeline. Work with Channel Sales and Marketing on joint campaigns, workshops, and events. Help partners identify AI security use cases inside their existing customer base.
- Answer security reviews and RFPs. Handle technical questionnaires, architecture reviews, and RFP responses that come through partners.
- Bring back what you hear. Share partner and customer feedback with Product and Engineering. Flag integration gaps, competitive losses, and feature requests with specifics.
- Represent WitnessAI. Present at partner events, conferences, and customer briefings.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting, with at least 3 years supporting channel or partner sales.
- A working understanding of network security, cloud infrastructure, identity, and data security. Familiarity with AI/ML or generative AI use cases is a strong plus.
- A record of enabling partners to sell and deploy technical products, and of helping close six- and seven-figure deals through the channel.
- Hands-on experience running demos and POCs end to end, including deployment and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with resellers, distributors, MSSPs, or global system integrators.
- Clear communication. You can explain a complex architecture to an engineer in the morning and a CISO in the afternoon.
- Willingness to travel for partner and customer meetings and events.
NICE TO HAVE
- Background at a cybersecurity vendor, especially in SASE, secure web gateway, CASB, DLP, or zero trust.
- Experience building a partner enablement or certification program from scratch.
- Existing relationships with security-focused VARs, MSSPs, or distributors.
- Experience with partner portals and deal registration tools, plus CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Security or cloud certifications such as CISSP, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Prior startup experience, where you built process because none existed.

SALARY RANGE:

Job Description: As a Hands-On Technical Support Engineer for WitnessAI customers, you will be responsible for overseeing the pool of customer technical/product issues ranging from easy to complex difficulty while directly engaging with them to troubleshoot and provide resolution by following customer SLAs. You’ll provide high-level technical guidance and mentorship to the TSE team, while ensuring efficient resolution of customer problems related to AI security products. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of network, endpoint and proxy security technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the technical support team, providing guidance on troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issues.
- Serve as an escalation or direct point for high-priority and advanced technical issues involving AI security products (e.g., proxies, end points, HTTP1.1/HTTP2,DNS, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, etc.).
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for customer-reported issues, ensuring high-quality support.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, and sales teams to communicate customer feedback and ensure continuous product improvement.
- Develop and maintain best practices, technical documentation, and troubleshooting guides to improve team efficiency.
- Implement and manage support processes, ensuring SLAs are met and customer satisfaction remains high.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the support team up-to-date on the latest product features and network security trends.
- Engage directly with customers via email, phone, or remote sessions to resolve technical issues and ensure their security solutions are fully optimized.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of security products, providing post-deployment technical assistance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on support metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements and training needs.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to provide expert-level support and guidance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical support or engineering roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with network security products, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions (e.g.,Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, etc).
- Strong knowledge of various protocols (HTTP1.1,HTTP2, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), working with HARs, packet captures, tcpdump, etc and security best practices.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and diagnosing complex network security issues in real-world customer environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Experience with support ticketing systems and knowledge base management.

THE ROLE
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll design, build, and evaluate language models that power our AI security products. You’ll own the end-to-end pipeline — from dataset curation and preprocessing to experiment design, evaluation, and visualization of results. This role blends engineering and applied research, with an emphasis on producing reliable, interpretable, and safe language models.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build scalable pipelines to collect, preprocess, and manage datasets for training and evaluation of LLMs.
- Design and run experiments to evaluate LLMs on accuracy, robustness, fairness, and safety.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate evaluation results, trends, and failure cases.
- Develop and leverage knowledge graphs to structure data, enrich evaluation, and improve context-driven model performance.
- Work with researchers to translate new ideas into engineering workflows, and with data scientists to automate QA checks and guardrails.
- Fine-tune, optimize, and integrate models into production systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and monitoring and CI/CD best practices.
- Contribute to ML tooling and experimentation frameworks to accelerate iteration.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: 2–5+ years working in machine learning or data science, ideally in a security or infrastructure-heavy environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong software engineering background (Python, testing frameworks like pytest/unittest, CI/CD tools).
- Proficiency in ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Experience with data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
- Familiarity with deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of ML fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP).
- Security Awareness: Interest or background in cybersecurity, adversarial ML, anomaly detection, or related fields.
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a focus on shipping and iterating quickly.
