What You’ll Do
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechatronics Engineer with a specialization in robotics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, development, and integration of complex robotic systems, with a proven track record in robotics, electronics, and software. This role will be pivotal in bringing our next generation of defense-focused robotic platforms from concept to deployment.
Lead the design, development, and testing of advanced robotic systems, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
Develop robust control algorithms and implement them on embedded systems.
Design and prototype custom electronic circuits and PCBs for robotic applications.
Conduct thorough system-level testing, validation, and verification of robotic platforms.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers.
Contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept generation to production and deployment.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, and software technologies.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of professional experience in robotics or mechatronics engineering, with a strong focus on hands-on development.
Proven expertise in robotic system design, including kinematics, dynamics, and control.
Strong proficiency in embedded systems programming (C/C++, Python) for real-time applications.
Extensive experience with electronic circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
Solid understanding of sensor integration, signal processing, and data acquisition.
Experience with various communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, UART, I2C, SPI).
Familiarity with robotic operating systems (ROS) or similar middleware.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points
Experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles as applied to robotic systems.
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, CoppeliaSim, MATLAB/Simulink).

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
Collaborate with the general software engineering team to integrate ML models into existing software systems and ensure scalability and maintainability.
Work in conjunction with computer vision specialists to apply and optimize ML techniques for image and video analysis, object detection, tracking, and recognition in defense contexts.
Research and evaluate new machine learning algorithms, tools, and technologies to enhance our capabilities and solve challenging problems.
Perform rigorous model testing, validation, and performance tuning to ensure robustness and accuracy in real-world scenarios.
Contribute to the development of best practices for ML engineering, including MLOps, version control, and reproducible research.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You'll Need
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a proven track record of deploying ML models in production environments.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Solid understanding of core machine learning concepts, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
Experience with various machine learning model architectures and their application (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, decision trees, support vector machines).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with MLOps tools and practices.

What You’ll Do
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of mechanical design, from conceptualization and detailed design to prototyping, testing, and production support. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and a passion for developing robust and reliable systems in a fast-paced environment.
Design & Development:
Lead the mechanical design of complex defense systems and components, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings using CAD software.
Perform engineering calculations, simulations (FEA, CFD), and analyses to validate designs.
Select appropriate materials, manufacturing processes, and components for designs.
Prototyping & Testing:
Oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes.
Develop and execute test plans to validate mechanical designs against performance requirements.
Analyze test data and implement design modifications as needed.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, project managers, and manufacturing personnel.
Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and constructive feedback.
Document design decisions, specifications, and test results thoroughly.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and process improvements.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or a highly regulated industry.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA).
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and material science.
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Bonus Points
