APPLY FOR THIS JOB
At Intenseye, we believe protecting people at work is non-negotiable.
That’s why we’re building the world’s most advanced AI-powered platform for industrial environments, designed to help organizations move from reactive programs to proactive risk prevention across safety, operations, and quality management. Our technology gives enterprises the ability to see risk and inefficiency as they emerge, take action in real time, and prevent incidents before they happen.
Powered by cutting-edge AI and Intenseye’s proprietary Sentinel hardware, our platform delivers ethical, highly accurate intelligence across complex worksites. EHS, operations, and quality teams gain continuous leading indicators, deep operational insight, and unprecedented visibility into how work actually happens.
Today, Intenseye helps protect hundreds of thousands of workers across 25+ countries—and we’re just getting started.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can move fluidly across the stack—from performance-critical C++ and Python backend services to polished React/TypeScript frontends—and who brings the systems-level intuition to know when latency, throughput, and reliability are on the line.
You’ll build the product features, data pipelines, and APIs that turn real-time computer vision output into life-saving alerts and insights for our customers. You care as much about the user experience as you do about the code powering it.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is:
Commercially and product minded—you think about users, outcomes, and business value, not just technical correctness
A self-starter with a founder’s mentality: high ownership, high velocity, pragmatic judgment
Experienced shipping in fast-moving startup environments and comfortable with ambiguity
Equally at home in a backend pipeline and a React component, and proud of both
Motivated by mission—you want your work to have real-world impact
What You’ll Do
Build and own full-stack features across our React/TypeScript frontend and C++/Python backend, delivering polished end-to-end product experiences
Design and implement high-performance, low-latency data pipelines that process real-time safety event streams from computer vision models
Develop and maintain REST APIs and async backend services that power customer-facing dashboards and alerting workflows
Collaborate closely with product, design, and Research teams to translate safety intelligence into intuitive, actionable interfaces
Contribute to GCP-based cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability across distributed customer environments
Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand problems and iterate quickly
Champion engineering quality: performance profiling, code reviews, testing, observability, and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful full-stack ownership
Proven track record at a startup or high-growth environment: you’ve worn multiple hats and delivered under real constraints
Product and commercial mindset: you understand how engineering decisions connect to business outcomes
Strong communication skills—you can collaborate cross-functionally, work with customers, and write clearly
Startup mindset: high ownership, high velocity, pragmatic judgment
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Familiarity in C++ in high-performance, low-latency, or real-time systems preferred
Familiarity with Python—REST APIs, async services, data processing pipelines preferred, not required
Familiarity with React and TypeScript preferred, not required
Experience with real-time data pipelines, event-driven architectures, or streaming systems preferred, not required
Familiarity with GCP and cloud-connected deployments preferred
$160,000 - $200,000 a year
Intenseye is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where every team member feels valued and empowered. We recruit, hire, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, color, age, sex, ancestry, marital status, religion, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, medical condition, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
We know that not everyone will meet 100% of the listed qualifications, and that’s OK. Research shows that individuals from underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every criterion. If you’re excited about our mission and believe you can have an impact in this role, we strongly encourage you to apply. Your experience, skills, and perspective may be exactly what we’re looking for.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. Today, Intenseye helps protect hundreds of thousands of workers across 25+ countries—and we’re just getting started.
The Role
As our first security hire, you’ll build our security function from the ground up: defining the architecture, owning compliance, protecting our AI platform and customer data, and establishing a security-first culture. You’ll report directly to the CTO.
We’re looking for someone who is deeply technical and ready to own the security function end-to-end. As our first security hire, you’ll cover a lot of ground—writing policy, reviewing code, responding to customer security questionnaires, and hands-on infrastructure work.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is:
A founder-minded builder: you’re energized by creating security infrastructure from scratch, not inheriting a mature program—and you take full ownership of outcomes.
Technically deep and strategically broad: you can write policy and write code. You can threat-model a distributed AI system and present risk to leadership in the same week.
Pragmatically risk-driven: you understand that startups must move fast, and you find ways to reduce risk without becoming a blocker—earning trust across engineering and product by being a partner, not a gatekeeper.
Thinking beyond the technical: you’ve started to think about governance, organizational resilience, and how security creates competitive advantage at the enterprise level.
A clear, confident communicator: you can simplify complex risk for the CEO, rally engineers around secure-by-default practices, and represent Intenseye’s security posture to enterprise customers and prospects.
What you’ll do:
Architect and build Intenseye’s security program end-to-end: cloud infrastructure security, application security, data protection, endpoint, and identity.
Own our compliance roadmap—including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR—and drive it to completion, partnering with legal, finance, and customer success.
Embed security into the SDLC: define secure coding standards, introduce SAST/DAST tooling, and partner with engineering to make secure-by-default the norm.
Build and run incident response: design our monitoring and alerting stack, write the playbooks, and lead the response when things go wrong.
Own IAM strategy across internal systems, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing platforms.
Lead threat modeling and vulnerability management—working with engineering to prioritize and remediate across a complex, globally distributed system.
Be the face of security to enterprise customers: own security questionnaires, due diligence reviews, and executive-level conversations about our security posture.
Advise the CTO and executive team on security risk, investment, and strategy as the function matures.
What we’re looking for
8+ years in security engineering, with meaningful experience owning or significantly shaping a security function—not just executing within one.
Deep hands-on expertise in cloud security (GCP strongly preferred): network security, IAM, secrets management, container security (Kubernetes/Docker), and cloud-native threat detection.
Strong application security fundamentals: OWASP Top 10, secure SDLC, API security, and experience integrating SAST/DAST into CI/CD pipelines.
Proven experience driving a compliance program through completion (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, or equivalent)—not just supporting it.
Solid grasp of data privacy (GDPR, CCPA) and the ability to work cross-functionally with legal and GTM teams on customer-facing requirements.
Experience with modern security tooling: SIEM, EDR, CSPM, vulnerability scanners (e.g., Wiz, Crowdstrike, Datadog Security, or equivalents).
Demonstrated ability to communicate security risk at the executive level—written and verbal.
Experience leading a cross-functional initiative.
Prior startup experience is required- high ownership, high velocity, pragmatic judgment.
Experience securing physical hardware deployments: device hardening, firmware security, secure boot, and managing the security lifecycle of hardware deployed in customer environments.
Bonus: experience with AI/ML platform security, industrial IoT, or edge computing environments;

Today, Intenseye helps protect hundreds of thousands of workers across 25+ countries—and we’re just getting started.
The Role
As an Application Support Engineer, you will cover the full support spectrum: fielding inbound customer questions directly via chat and email (L1), conducting hands-on technical investigations into connectivity, integration, and platform issues (L2), and working alongside engineering when issues require deep infrastructure-level diagnosis (L3). You're the person who gets things done in a high-paced, unstructured environment.
You'll work closely with enterprise customers' IT and network teams, join customer calls without hesitation, and partner with engineering, DevOps, and product to see every issue through resolution. This role is based in New York and reports to the Director of Support.
This position requires three days at our NYC Office.
What you will do:
Customer support & relationship management
Handle inbound customer inquiries via chat and email — answering platform questions, guiding users, and resolving issues end-to-end
Own customer communication throughout the lifecycle of every ticket, providing timely and clear updates.
Join customer calls and meetings as a technical representative and engage confidently with enterprise IT and network teams.
Maintain and contribute to user-facing documentation, help center content, and knowledge base articles.
Technical investigation & infrastructure support
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues by working directly with customers' IT teams — including remote access sessions, VPN configuration, SSH access, proxy setup, and firewall and network diagnostics.
Support on-premise and cloud/hybrid deployments, handling integration and infrastructure issues that require hands-on network-level investigation.
Investigate platform and integration issues across application, service, and network layers, using available monitoring and observability tools.
Configure and troubleshoot SSO and authentication integrations for enterprise customers.
Cross-functional collaboration
Escalate complex issues to engineering and product teams with well-documented findings and clear reproduction steps.
Work with engineering, DevOps, and product teams on deeper investigation, bug resolution, and new feature rollouts.
Contribute to improving internal processes, playbooks, and support tooling.
Partner with the Support Manager to develop support territory strategy
What we are looking for:
3+ years in a technical or application support role, ideally within an Enterprise SaaS environment.
Solid Linux fundamentals — comfortable in the command line, reading logs, and running diagnostic commands.
Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, NAT, proxy configurations, and port forwarding.
Hands-on experience with SSH and VPN — setup, tunneling, and troubleshooting.
Comfortable doing L1 customer chat and deep technical investigation on the same day.
Strong written English and a natural ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to navigate ambiguity
Excellent oral communication skill with both internal stakeholders and external technical teams
Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer visits — you're comfortable getting in front of customers in person when the situation calls for it.
$100,000 - $150,000 a year
