Companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization. We are looking for team members who love product-building, want to work hard at a mission-oriented startup, and will collaborate with us in shaping the culture of a growing team.
We have offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City, and remote team members across the US and Europe. We hope that you'll be interested in joining us!
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a customer-focused problem solver to join our Implementation team. You’ll lead end-to-end deployments of Watershed for our largest and most complex strategic accounts - translating goals into clear plans, finding solutions to customer needs, orchestrating cross-functional work, and building customer confidence.
You’ll design scalable systems and processes for repeatability while also solving complex, bespoke needs for our largest customers. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, advisory, customer success, and external partners to keep momentum high and outcomes measurable. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role driving the success of Watershed’s customer base.
YOU WILL:
- Own and deliver implementations from kickoff to wrap-up: run discovery, map milestones, manage risks, and drive crisp execution
- Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact during implementations, building high‑trust relationships across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Design out-of-the-box, creative solutions that meet customer needs, leveraging existing product and services and generating insight into potential future needs
- Develop a deep understanding of Watershed’s product and services to guide customers on what’s possible and make smart trade‑offs
- Conduct enablements for customers on using complex Watershed features
- Coordinate internal and customer teams, sequence dependencies, and renegotiate timelines when inputs change
- Act as the voice of the customer to product and engineering, surfacing patterns, blockers, and feature requests that inform the roadmap
- Build scalable playbooks, tooling, and processes that make implementations faster, more consistent, and measurable over time
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU:
- Have 3-6+ years in management consulting, solutions, or software implementation, preferably at a B2B SaaS company. You have experience leading customers through complex programs or projects
- Take pride in your ability to learn new concepts quickly and thrive operating in a high-volume environment
- Love to sweat the details, but are also able to zoom-out and see the big picture
- Are a systems thinker who brings structure, clarity, and momentum to ambiguous problems
- Are excellent at communicating clearly with technical and non‑technical audiences to introduce new concepts and drive alignment
- Love working on multiple workstreams simultaneously, juggling multiple balls and keeping stakeholders accountable
- Have a keen eye for identifying risks and drive mitigation plans to keep projects on track
- Are an early adopter of AI solutions and excited to use them to drive impact
This position is required to be in person in our New York office 4 days per week.
Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles)
Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week. Certain jobs are open to being remote and will be specifically noted on the jobs page and in the job description if so.
What’s the interview process like?
It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 to 2 conversations about Watershed, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but usual next steps are a skill or experience interview (e.g. a coding interview for an engineer, a portfolio review for a designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in person interview panel. We prioritize transparency and lack of surprise throughout the process.
What if I need accommodations for my interview?
At Watershed, we are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive recruitment process. We provide reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, mental health needs, religious observances, neurodivergence, or pregnancy-related support requirements. If you need assistance during your process, please contact your recruiter.

Tech I - Wood Shop Fabricator
Cambium Carbon · Baltimore, Maryland, United States
SHOP TECHNICIAN I
About Us
Cambium is a modern American wood manufacturer, distributor, and technology company connecting and modernizing the wood economy. We work with architects, builders, and leading brands across the built environment, including Amazon, Room & Board, and Equinox. Our work has been recognized by Time's Best Inventions and Fast Company's Innovation by Design Awards. Technology is how we match supply to demand across a fragmented industry. The American hardwood industry has lost more than half its sawmills in the last two decades. Quality trees go to waste, and the US imports more lumber than it produces, even though domestic capacity could meet nearly all of our needs. Until now, this industry forced a choice: local relationships or national scale, meaningful materials or modern efficiency. We don't think those are real tradeoffs. We're building the infrastructure to prove it, with modern software, better supply chains, and a clear view of what comes next: a wood economy that's local, efficient, and built to last.
About This Role
As Shop Technician I, you’ll be a key part of daily operations at our East Coast manufacturing facility. This role requires confidence working with woodshop tools and millwork equipment, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, speed, and consistency. You’ll be hands-on across every step of the production process. From drying and milling final fabrication, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team focused on delivering high-quality, Carbon Smart Wood™ products.
What You’ll Do Here
- Support the Senior Shop Manager with day-to-day shop operations, order fulfillment, fabrication, and inventory movement.
- Operate woodshop tools and millwork equipment such as table saws, planers, sanders, gang rips, and jointers to process raw boards into finished goods.
- Load and unload lumber, organize materials, and stage inventory to keep production flowing efficiently.
- Package, label, and prepare finished orders for shipping, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols, daily task lists, and standard operating procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free shop.
- Assist with R&D and prototyping tasks by fabricating product samples or components based on provided specs or mockups.
- Contribute to a team culture that values hustle, consistency, and accountability.
Your Skill Sets and Capabilities Include
- You are experienced with shop tools and industrial equipment, and comfortable in a woodshop or factory environment.
- You have experience in woodworking or construction.
- Forklift Certification preferred
- DOT Certification preferred
- You prioritize safety and follow protocols consistently.
- You move with urgency and stay focused in high-output environments.
- You produce high-quality work and spot issues before they become problems.
- You follow through on tasks, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing your part well.
- You’re a reliable teammate who contributes to shop rhythm and morale—no ego, just good work.
- You’re detail-oriented when handling one-off or custom builds, and able to follow prototyping instructions precisely.
The Details
- This role will report to: Michael Sheets, Sr Shop Manager
- Salary Range: $55-65k or commensurate with experience
- When: September 1st
- Where: Baltimore, MD, Columbia, MD
Benefits and Perks
- Equity options package
- Flexible PTO
- 401k matching
- Comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance
- Work with an incredibly smart, diverse, climate mission-driven team
- An opportunity to play a core role in defining our fast-growing company
- Volunteer tree planting days
Cambium is committed to building an inclusive organization that reflects the diverse communities our team works to serve. We believe that diversity in all its forms (gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, veteran's status, disability and more) is essential to imagining and actively building a more just and sustainable future for all. We hope you feel welcome here.
