About the Role
SimpliSafe is growing a lean, high-impact Procurement team, and we're looking for a Senior Manager, Indirect Sourcing & Procurement to serve as a strategic partner across the full range of indirect spend categories from marketing and technology to professional services, people programs, and operations.
At SimpliSafe, Procurement operates as a strategic enabler, not a transactional function. We aim high on complex, high-visibility categories with a “make-it-happen” mindset, and we do it as one team, with no ego, lifting up stakeholders and teammates as we climb, and staying lean and nimble so we can move at the speed the business needs.
This is a highly visible role for someone who can flex across categories GTM and marketing, IT and technology, professional and consulting services, HR and people programs, contact center and monitoring center operations, data and analytics, corporate services, and other indirect spend areas as the business evolves. - Build deep partnerships with stakeholders across the business, aligning sourcing strategy with each function's priorities and SimpliSafe's broader goals.
- Create, prioritize, and execute category strategies and procurement project pipelines with a focus on value creation (savings and cost avoidance), speed, innovation, and risk mitigation.
- Serve as the team's go-to generalist across a wide range of categories, developing enough depth in each to be a credible advisor while knowing when to loop in specialist input.
- Lead RFx processes end-to-end, present negotiation outcomes, build business cases, and influence budget owners and senior leadership through data-driven recommendations.
- Champion strategic procurement across the organization, driving adoption of best practices through influence rather than mandate.
- Collaborate across the organization to streamline workflows, improve spend visibility, increase speed-to-market, and strengthen cross-functional execution.
- Flex quickly across categories as business priorities shift, reflecting our lean and nimble operating style.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience as a generalist across multiple indirect categories (e.g., marketing, technology, professional services, HR, operations), ideally at a high-growth B2C or B2B company. Real estate sourcing experience is not required.
- Proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite partners.
- Demonstrated expertise negotiating complex commercial agreements across varied category types (SaaS, media, agencies, BPO, professional services, analytics, or similar).
- Comfortable moving across categories and context-switching without losing rigor a generalist mindset rather than deep specialization in a single spend area.
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with the ability to see the forest through the trees and turn analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional communication, executive-level presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong change management skills ability to influence without authority, drive new behaviors, and navigate ambiguity.
- Effective project manager with the ability to own and deliver initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Financial and analytical acumen with the ability to analyze complex spend categories, evaluate investments, model scenarios, and articulate trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
- MBA or relevant master's degree is a plus.

About the Role
The SimpliSafe Growth Analytics team is looking for a Manager to join our analytics team supporting paid Social, Display, SEM/VBB, and our agency partnership. This role sits within Performance Marketing Analytics and serves as an analytics partner to Marketing's digital acquisition team. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Performance Marketing Analytics.
This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly evolving team. You will own analytics for your channel(s), partner directly with Marketing, and share accountability not just for the accuracy of the reporting but for whether digital acquisition performance actually improves. You will help define the KPIs that matter across paid digital channels, build the forecasts for them, and help originate the experimentation needed to beat those forecasts – all to the standards set by the team's Experimentation Center of Excellence (CoE). Your responsibilities will include:
- Own the KPI lifecycle for the digital channel performance you support: define the right KPIs at the channel level, build and maintain the forecasts for them, and develop a deep understanding of what drives them
- Serve as an analytics partner to Marketing's digital acquisition stakeholders — owning your channel relationships end-to-end rather than fielding ad hoc requests, and being measured against Marketing's business objectives rather than delivery volume
- Originate and drive experimentation aimed at beating forecast, to the standards and methodology set by the Experimentation CoE — partnering with Marketing to identify test ideas and ensuring rigorous setup and measurement so the business can trust the read
- Get close enough to how each digital channel actually runs — the platforms, the agency relationship, the day-to-day mechanics — to spot risks and opportunities Marketing can't see from the inside, and bring recommendations forward before they ask
- Share accountability with Marketing for the business results, not just the integrity of the analysis — success is measured by whether digital acquisition performance improves, not just whether the reporting is right
- Help steward the datasets underlying digital channel KPIs, and use AI tools and automation to eliminate as much manual reporting and one-off analysis as possible — reinvesting that time into the work above
Qualifications:
- BS in a quantitative field or equivalent experience (Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field)
- 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Strong technical skills, including experience with query and data visualization tools. SQL and Excel are core requirements; experience with Hex, Tableau or programming languages (Python, R, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with digital marketing analytics and paid media platforms (e.g., paid social, display, SEM), including working with agency partners essential
- Track record of proposing ideas and driving them to business impact, not just delivering requested analysis, comfortable being judged on whether the business outcome moved, not only on whether the work was correct
- Experience designing and running experiments or pilots — including forming the hypothesis, not just measuring someone else's
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with extreme attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize concepts for non-technical audiences and effectively engage partners across all levels of the company
- Genuine interest in learning how a marketing organization runs day-to-day — willing to spend real time with Marketing stakeholders and agency partners, not just their data — in order to identify the question behind the question
- Comfort using AI tools to accelerate data prep and analysis, so more time goes toward business understanding and origination
What Values You’ll Share
- Customer Obsessed – Building deep empathy for our customers, putting them at the core of our work, and developing strong, long-term relationships with them.

Job Description
About SimpliSafe
We're a high-tech home security company that's passionate about protecting the life you've built and our mission of keeping Every Home Secure. And we've created a culture here that cares just as deeply about the career you're building. Ours is a no ego culture of collaboration and innovation where those seeking their next challenge can find big opportunities and make a huge impact on the lives of all those who we protect. We don't just want you to work here. We want you to grow and thrive here.
Why are we hiring?
Well, we're growing and thriving. So, we need smart, talented, and humble people who share our values to join us as we disrupt the home security space and relentlessly pursue our mission of keeping Every Home Secure.
About the Role
This is not a role for someone who runs a single account in a silo. It's for a hands-on retail leader who owns relationships, owns the numbers, and owns the outcome — someone who can walk into a buyer meeting and drive a joint business plan, then walk into an internal review and defend the P&L behind it.
This is as much a build role as it is a run role. There’s real upside in this channel, and unlocking it will take a leader who’s willing to get into the details – sharpening the account strategy, tightening execution, and building the operating rhythm that gets us there – while also setting the multi-year direction. You’ll need to move fluidly between big-picture strategy and hands-on, in-the-weeds work.
As Head of Retail, you will own SimpliSafe's retail channel: the partner relationships, the P&L, the account plans, and the strategic direction of where we take this channel next. You'll deepen and expand the relationships we already have across big-box, mass and club, and online retail — and you'll bring new products to market through those doors while driving sell-through and growing our share of the category. You'll set the marketing and promotional strategy that gets our products off the shelf and into homes.
You'll lead a team of account managers and specialists and you'll partner closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to make retail a bigger, faster-growing engine for the business.
What You Will Own
Retail accounts and relationships. You own SimpliSafe's retail partnerships across big-box (e.g., Best Buy), mass and club (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Target), and online retail (e.g., Amazon). You'll be the senior relationship owner — building trust with buyers and merchandising teams, running joint business planning, and turning existing accounts into deeper, longer-term partnerships while opening up new ones.
Channel P&L. You own the retail P&L. You'll build and manage account plans against clear targets for revenue, margin, and share, and you'll be accountable for the numbers — knowing what's working, what isn't, and what the best next move is.
Sell-through and category share. You'll drive sell-through at the shelf and grow SimpliSafe's share of the home security category. That means the right assortment, the right placement, the right price, and the right promotional support in every account.
New product introductions. You'll bring new products to market through the retail channel — partnering with Product and Marketing to land launches, secure distribution and shelf space, and set launches up to win from day one.
Marketing and promotional strategy. You own the marketing and promotional strategy for the channel. You'll build promotional calendars in partnership with our retail accounts and internal Marketing team, plan and manage trade spend, and measure what actually moves the numbers.
Team leadership. You'll lead, mentor, and grow a team of account managers, channel specialists, and analysts. You'll create an environment where accountability and transparency are the baseline, and where each person owns their accounts and their numbers.
What We Are Looking For
- Deep retail expertise, with a track record of owning and growing retail accounts and channels.
- Experience selling hardware or subscription services through retail channels — ideally in a considered-purchase or D2C-meets-retail environment.
- Past P&L ownership, with strong command of retail economics (revenue, margin, trade spend, sell-in vs. sell-through, share).
- Strong retail relationships and account management skills — someone buyers trust and want to plan with.
- A firm grasp of promotional calendars and how to plan, fund, and measure promotional activity that drives sell-through.
- Experience leading and developing a team of account managers, specialists, and/or analysts.
- Comfort building (and rebuilding) processes, account strategies, and team operating rhythms from the ground up – someone who can diagnose what isn’t working and isn’t afraid to change it.
- Ability to flex seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution-from shaping channel direction to getting into the weeds of an account plan when needed.
- Comfort using data to tell the story — how the channel is performing, what's driving it, and what to do next — whether 1:1, in a deck, or in front of leadership.
- You love to work in a team environment. You love collaboration, co-creating, and different opinions; it's not about “whose idea” it was, it's about the right ideas, execution, and accountability for the team.
What Values You'll Share
- Customer Obsessed – Building deep empathy for our customers, putting them at the core of our work, and developing strong, long-term relationships with them.
- Aim High – Always challenging ourselves and others to raise the bar.
- No Ego – Maintaining a “no job too small” attitude, and an open, inclusive and humble style.
- One Team – Taking a highly collaborative approach to achieving success.
- Lift As We Climb – Investing in developing others and helping others around us succeed.
- Lean & Nimble – Working with agility and efficiency to experiment in an often ambiguous environment.

About the Role
SimpliSafe's CLV Monitoring Engineering organization is looking for motivated, self-reliant engineers with a backend focus to join our team.
We're building next-generation monitoring experiences that rise head and shoulders above our industry, leveraging our best-in-class technology and our focus on people. We embrace modern software design and craftsmanship, and support and own our work through its entire lifecycle. In this role, you'll take ownership of the backend systems that connect our customers to our Monitoring Center specialists; everything from day-to-day bug squashing to the technical design and architecture of major features and products.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design for complex backend features, writing design docs, evaluating tradeoffs, and driving decisions on architecture, data models, and API contracts.
- Design and implement backend services in Node.js/TypeScript with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain testing strategies to ensure services stay performant and maintainable as they scale.
- Own services end-to-end, from design through production, including observability and resolving performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to turn ambiguous problems into well-scoped technical solutions.
- Act as a technical lead on projects, setting direction, unblocking teammates, and reviewing designs and code.
- Mentor engineers on technical design and backend best practices.
Requirements
- Experience owning complete features solo within a larger product, or taking full ownership of small products/projects.
- Track record working with product teams to resolve ambiguity and with other engineering teams to design the right technical solution.
- Demonstrated experience owning technical design for medium-to-large systems (design docs, RFCs, architecture proposals).
- Strong grasp of distributed systems, API design, and data modeling.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable, high-availability production services.
- Proficiency in a modern language (TypeScript, C#, etc.) with willingness to learn new tools and languages.
- Proficiency in a modern, cloud-scale NoSQL database.
- Proficiency in implementing modern observability frameworks and logging, and using them to diagnose real issues in production systems.
- Fluency with modern AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) across research, design, and implementation, paired with the senior-level judgment to know when they're wrong and to direct, review, and own everything they produce.
- Collaborative mindset, strong customer focus, and passion for learning.
Nice-to-Haves
- Extensive experience with CI/CD and test automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and practices like infrastructure-as-code and DevOps.
- Experience with tools in our stack (e.g., NestJS, Kafka, Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Builds and maintains shared AI tooling and workflows that raise the whole team's output.
