Operations associate, Stuttgart, Germany
Strategic Operations Associate
Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. The way brands reach people is being rewritten — AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode are now the answer layer between companies and their customers. We built the platform marketers use to understand, measure, and win in that world: the analytics, intelligence, and agent automation that turn AI search from a threat into a competitive advantage.
We went from 0 to a $1B valuation in 18 months. Revenue grew 100x last year. Our customers include 15% of the Fortune 500 like Walmart, Wayfair and U.S. Bank, and innovators like Ramp, MongoDB, and Figma. We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.
Keeping pace with this kind of prolific growth requires true generalists situated at the heart of the business: people who love variety, thrive on solving problems, and want to see how every part of a fast-growing startup works. As a Strategic Operations Associate, you will be at the center of everything that keeps Profound running, helping the team move faster, stay organized, and scale smoothly. The problems you solve will be different every day and every month, and the mandate of the role will grow with the business.
What you’ll do
Planning and building the foundations of the company as we grow, from defining organizational structure and operational cadence to the systems and processes that underpin how we work
Building internal operating systems: communication frameworks, cross-functional policies, and the processes that help a fast-growing team stay coordinated and most effective
Supporting investor and board updates, ensuring leadership has the materials they need to communicate most effectively
Partnering closely with Finance and Legal to set up international entities, navigate payroll and employment law, and manage compliance across jurisdictions
Managing vendor relationships and coordinating with external partners across a range of business functions
Restructuring customer-facing team structures and account assignments to better balance workload and prioritize accounts
Leading office moves and real estate processes, from site search to negotiations through build-out coordination
Plugging into any department that needs a strategic and executional partner on a high-priority initiative
Who you are
1 to 4 years of experience in operations, investment banking, consulting, or a similarly demanding, fast-paced environment
Exceptionally organized and executional; you close loops, follow through, and don't let things fall through the cracks
A systems thinker who can see the structure behind a problem and build durable solutions, not just quick fixes
A strong communicator who can work effectively with anyone, from a first-year hire to a C-suite leader
Energized by ambiguity and the growing pains that come with building a company at speed, not frustrated by them
High agency and low ego, with a genuine bias toward action and outcomes over process
Location
This is an on-site role based in our NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $110,000 to $200,000 (NYC). Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.

Business Operations Associate - Technical Projects
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE JOB
Technical Projects Operations Associates work on some of the most ambiguous, high-leverage problems at Anduril — combining operational rigor, technical curiosity, and strategic thinking to build solutions that scale. While you’ll be a member of a Functional or Division Operations team, you will often be embedded in the business (across field ops, engineering, supply chain, and product), helping Anduril run more efficiently by solving the messy, cross-functional problems that don’t fall neatly into a single team’s lane. Exemplar projects have focused on accelerating hardware development cycles, scaling our sustainment operations, and enabling customer-facing analytical workflows.
This is not a traditional Operations role. It’s a builder-operator role for those who thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and care deeply about outcomes. You might have been an engineer, PM, consultant, or founder — and here, you’ll apply those instincts to the problems that power Anduril’s growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and deliver cross-functional initiatives from zero to one, from framing the problem to executing on a chosen solution.
- Operate across both hardware and software, bringing solutions to problems across Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Operations, Finance, HR, Recruiting, and more.
- Work deeply within Anduril’s business systems (including our ERP, MRP, and MES) to develop a clear understanding of how data and processes flow across the company.
- Develop analytics and tooling that shape decision-making, ranging from scrappy, ad hoc Excel data crunching to scalable data pipelines and dashboards.
- Project manage across teams, leading meetings of large and small groups and managing digital communication channels to direct stakeholders towards solutions.
- Partner with senior leaders to bring structure, insight, and velocity to Anduril’s highest-priority operational challenges.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, strategy, or engineering/technical roles.
- You’re technical—you are data-driven, understand systems, and know how to communicate with engineering and product teams.
- You’re strategic—you zoom out to define frameworks, build business cases, and integrate solutions into broader company initiatives.
- You’re a builder—you’d rather design and implement a better solution than patch around a broken one.
- You’re self-driven and proactive—your bias is for action rather than delay.
- You’re comfortable in ambiguity—you get energy from untangling complex, messy problems.
- You’re clear—you communicate effectively, including in both technical and non-technical contexts.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with technical systems in hardware + software environments (e.g., data warehouses, analytics tooling, manufacturing systems, etc.).
- Exposure to classified or regulated workflows.
- Background working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments without a playbook.
