OUR MISSION
Imagine building a better healthcare journey for patients with cancer, where individuals and their loved ones feel seen, supported, and heard by their care team – both in and out of the clinic. Where fast access to high-quality care is the norm, not the exception. Where patients have access to a care navigator to guide them through their diagnosis and trusted support all along the way.
At Thyme Care, we share a passion for transforming the cancer care experience – not just for patients but also for their caregivers and loved ones, as well as those delivering and paying for their care. Today, Thyme Care is known predominantly as a cancer care navigation company enabling value-based cancer care; in the next few years, we will become a nationally recognized technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, reshaping the landscape of cancer care access, delivery, and experience. Our commitment runs deep—we're not satisfied with the status quo but determined to redefine it.
To make this happen, we’re building a diverse team of problem solvers and critical thinkers to drive innovation and shape the future of healthcare. If you share our vision and want to be part of something truly meaningful, we want to hear from you. Together, we can revolutionize cancer care and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Training Associate, you'll be the senior trainer on the Enrollment Education & Enablement team, working closely with the E&E Team Lead to shape how our Enrollment Specialists learn, grow, and succeed. You'll design and deliver the training programs that turn new hires into confident, high-performing team members — and you'll keep building on that foundation through ongoing coaching, live facilitation, and continuous improvement of our enrollment skills and processes.
This is a role for someone who loves building things that work: you'll create curricula, e-learning modules, and job aids from the ground up. Then, you’ll bring them to life by leading live training sessions and providing coaching and support to both new hires and training coordinators. If you're energized by seeing your work directly translate into stronger team performance and better outcomes for the patients we serve, this role is built for you.
New Hire Onboarding, Assessment, and Nesting
Manage comprehensive Enrollment Specialist onboarding program for new hires, which included Thyme Care onboarding and job-specific training on enrollment workflows and operations.
Lead live, virtual training sessions for new hires throughout onboarding and ramp-up.
Develop clear, engaging training materials for both virtual and live training.
Build effective knowledge checks, assignments, and evaluations to assess new hire knowledge and retention throughout onboarding and to determine graduation readiness and provide targeted coaching to close skill gaps before full ramp.
Ongoing Education and ES Learning & Development
Partner with E&E Team Lead to design, build, and continually evolve an ongoing education program that sharpens Enrollment Specialists' performance and skills over time, including live training for continuing education and professional development.
Informally coach and support training coordinators, helping them grow their own facilitation and coaching skills.
Enrollment Handbook and Job Aids
Own and maintain the Enrollment Handbook and Learning Management System (LMS), keeping content accurate, current, and easy to access.
Create e-learning modules, presentations, SOPs, and job aids that support day-to-day enrollment work.
Work with subject matter experts to keep training content accurate as products, workflows, and processes evolve.
Support process documentation and knowledge base updates so the team has reliable resources at their fingertips.
Cross-functional Partnership
Partner with Enrollment quality team and Enrollment Specialist Team Leads and Managers to identify trends and training needs across the Enrollment Care Team, translating insights into sharper enablement materials and targeted coaching priorities.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
Experience
4 - 7 years of experience in training curriculum development or instructional design, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or a medical support setting.
Experience working within an enrollment team or similar patient-facing administrative healthcare function, either as an enrollment team member or trainer.
Experience developing and delivering both instructor-led and self paced/virtual training programs.
Familiarity with onboarding processes, especially in regulated environments.
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education or Healthcare-related field preferred but not required).
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards required.
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
Training expertise. You have experience facilitating and building staff training, with a well-developed instinct for how to build engaging training and clear materials that drive staff proficiency and success.
Healthcare. You have experience building learning and development programs in highly regulated healthcare environments.
Data savvy. You are comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and have experience leveraging data and building reports to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify trends.
Collaborative approach. You can seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enrollment Management and Team Leads, as well as HR, Compliance, Operations, and IT.
A patient-first approach. You’re personally motivated by our mission and by what we are building. You seek to understand problems and help people solve them, especially this one.
Operational orientation. Creating and improving processes is second nature for you. You build repeatable, reliable, and efficient processes and are able to train others accordingly.
Move with purpose. You’re biased to action. You know how to identify and prioritize your initiative’s needs and do what it takes to ensure that urgent and important needs are acted on immediately.
Effective listener and communicator. You are persuasive and articulate, but you always start by listening. You build rapport, trust, and great working relationships with colleagues.
Bias to action. You’re a self-starter and don’t need anyone to tell you when to do something. You’re always solving problems and going the extra mile for others.
OUR VALUES
At Thyme Care, our core values guide us in everything we do: Act with our members in mind, Move with purpose, and Seek diverse perspectives. They anchor our business decisions, including how we grow, the products we make, and the paths we choose—or don’t choose.
This is a non-exempt, full time position. The pay rate for this role is $70,000–$80,000. To perform this role you must be located within the lower 48 United States due to contractual limitations with accessing PHIs. We offer a choice of great medical, dental, and vision insurance plans as well as a generous vacation policy for full-time employees, so you can prioritize the most important parts of your life.
We recognize a history of inequality in healthcare. We’re here to challenge the status quo and create a culture of inclusion through the care we give and the company we build. We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal-opportunity employer.

We have a lot of big problems that we need to figure out and solve, and we still don't know what some of those problems are. So, so that's number one. But to me that's really exciting. I think number two, there's, in an early stage company, one, there's always a fair amount of ambiguity. So being able to take that ambiguity and work with it and move forward, I think is critically important.

OUR MISSION
We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.
Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.
As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.
Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Product Manager on our Data Ingestion & Care Enablement (DICE) team, you will be the connective tissue between our external partners, internal data systems, and the product and care teams that depend on them. You'll own the data integrations and partner relationships that power Thyme Care's ability to identify, enroll, and serve our members — making sure the right data flows to the right teams at the right time.
This role sits at the intersection of contracts, data, product behavior, and care workflows. You'll partner closely with payer and provider organizations to acquire and exchange data, define program populations, and ensure our integrations meet both contractual and clinical requirements. Internally, you'll work across our data science, engineering, growth, health economics, and clinical operations teams to translate complex data problems into clear requirements and actionable plans.
Additionally, you will:
Own partner data integrations end-to-end: lead implementations with payers and providers, managing data ingestion, quality, enrollment logic, and return files from kickoff through go-live and ongoing operations
Serve as a primary point of contact for external data counterparts: negotiate data specifications, troubleshoot issues, and build strong working relationships with partner organizations
Translate technical complexity into business clarity: break down intricate data and integration challenges into actionable requirements that product, engineering, and data science teams can execute against
Drive cross-functional alignment: coordinate across DICE, growth, health economics, clinical operations, and care delivery teams to ensure data-dependent initiatives stay on track
Build and maintain operational visibility: develop monitoring, dashboards, and proactive alerting so the team can shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive management of data quality and integration health
Own analyses that drive decisions: lead work on eligibility reconciliation, claims analysis, enrollment trends, and other data investigations that inform executive and operational decision-making
Shape the DICE roadmap: partner with your team lead to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and drive multi-quarter projects that improve how Thyme Care acquires, processes, and leverages data
Leverage AI to accelerate your work: stay current with AI tools and capabilities, applying them where they can improve your own productivity and the effectiveness of data workflows
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
4+ years of experience in product management, data operations, or a related role within healthcare
Direct experience working with healthcare claims data, eligibility files, and value-based care data in a payer, provider, or health tech environment
Track record of managing complex data integrations or implementations with external partners
Experience collaborating closely with data science and data engineering teams; comfortable with SQL and working in data-heavy environments
Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple partners and internal stakeholders simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa
Experience operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you had to define the path forward
Nice to haves:
Experience with clinical ontologies or healthcare data standards
Familiarity with data pipeline tools and concepts (e.g., dbt, GitHub Actions) — not as a builder, but as a collaborator
Experience in value-based care contract operations or performance measurement
Background in health economics, actuarial, or clinical data analysis
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
Self-starter mentality. You don't wait for someone to hand you a problem statement. You see gaps, ask questions, and move toward solutions — even when the path isn't fully defined.
Relentless curiosity. You dig into the data, the contracts, and the workflows until you truly understand how things work. You ask "why" repeatedly and aren't satisfied with surface-level answers.
Cross-functional glue. You bring clarity where there's confusion. You're the person teams turn to when something touches multiple systems, partners, or stakeholders and needs to actually work. You build trust across organizational boundaries.
Partner management instincts. You're comfortable as the face of Thyme Care to external data counterparts. You can navigate competing priorities, negotiate gracefully, and maintain strong relationships through complex implementations.
Organized under pressure. You juggle multiple partner launches, data issues, and internal requests without dropping balls. Your documentation and communication keep everyone aligned.
Comfort with data. You can open a dataset, spot anomalies, write queries to investigate, and collaborate fluently with data scientists and engineers — even if you're not building pipelines yourself.
Humility and directness. You listen first and build consensus by default, but you can drive hard decisions when needed. You say what you'll do and do what you say.
OUR VALUES
At Thyme Care, our core values guide us in everything we do: Act with our members in mind, Move with purpose, and Seek diverse perspectives. They anchor our business decisions, including how we grow, the products we make, and the paths we choose—or don’t choose.
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. The base salary for this role is $171,000-$190,000. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired at another level.
We recognize a history of inequality in healthcare. We’re here to challenge the status quo and create a culture of inclusion through the care we give and the company we build. We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal-opportunity employer.

And it was just an epiphany that I had of wow, if you really get into the details of what folks are doing on a daily basis, you can learn a lot about ways to scale the company, to solve these problems at a macro level.
