Position Overview

We are building our HR function from the ground up, and this role is central to making that happen. As our Senior HR Generalist, you will work directly alongside our VP of HR to design and establish the programs, processes, and infrastructure that define how we operate as a company and how we take care of our people. This is a build-from-scratch opportunity for someone energized by a blank page, who thinks strategically and is equally ready to roll up their sleeves and execute.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the VP of HR to define the people strategy roadmap, assess current-state gaps, and build prioritized plans to close them, including the employee handbook, process guides, and compliance frameworks.
• Own day-to-day benefits administration, enrollment coordination, and employee communications; build the education and support infrastructure so employees can fully access and understand their benefits.
• Help design and implement our performance management philosophy, including review cycles, feedback structures, and goal-setting frameworks, along with the tools and templates managers need to run effective conversations.
• Support the development of a compensation philosophy and structure, including job leveling, pay bands, and manager guidance, ensuring frameworks are fair, transparent, and defensible as we scale.
• Develop and maintain HR policies that are legally sound and clearly written; monitor the regulatory landscape and flag changes that require policy or process updates.
• Help define and operationalize our culture through engagement initiatives, pulse surveys, recognition programs, and feedback loops; serve as a trusted, approachable resource for employees at all levels.
• Design and own the full onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, including the systems, checklists, and communications that make every new hire’s first week seamless; establish metrics and continuously improve the experience over time.

What You’ll Need

• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with meaningful time in a startup, high-growth, or build-from-scratch environment.
• Demonstrated experience helping design or establish HR programs from scratch, not just administering existing systems.
• Strong working knowledge of benefits administration, including open enrollment, carrier management, and plan design basics.
• Familiarity with building or operationalizing performance management and compensation frameworks.
• Solid grasp of employment law and HR compliance fundamentals.
• A strategic mindset paired with the willingness to do detailed, operational work; strong written communication skills for turning concepts into clear policies and process docs.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CV/ML Platform Engineer with specialization in Computer Vision and Machine Learning (CV/ML) to design, build, and own the data, model, and compute infrastructure powering ACS CV/ML team. You will help manage a 130+ GPU bare-metal Kubernetes cluster, own CV/ML CI/CD pipelines, and ensure ML model training proceeds at high volume with low friction.

What You'll Do:

• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure hosting 130+ NVIDIA GPUs, with hybrid burst capability to AWS for scalable compute and storage workloads.
• Manage NVIDIA GPU clusters for ML training.
• Own the ACS CV/ML CI/CD pipeline.
• Improve and maintain core ML infrastructure, such as model registration and versioning, experiment tracking, and model and data provenance tracking.
• Improve and maintain ML model testing, performance analysis, and reporting tools.
• Automate repetitive model training and testing tasks to increase developer velocity.
• Work with Software Team Platform Engineers to ensure efficient coordination and minimal duplication between CV/ML infrastructure and wider Software infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the Software Team to automate the optimization of models (TensorRT/quantization) for deployment on NVIDIA Jetson and other edge hardware.

Required Technical Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps/MLOps.
• Strong programming skills are required for automating ML lifecycles and building custom CLI tools for CV engineers.
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, including managing CUDA libraries and development environments, GPU Operator, device plugins, and scheduling (MIG, Volcano, or fractional GPU sharing).
• Experience implementing and maintaining MLOps platforms such as Kubeflow, MLflow, Weights & Biases (W&B), or DVC for experiment tracking and model versioning.
• Familiarity with high-performance storage solutions (e.g., MinIO, WEKA, or Ceph) and data orchestration tools capable of handling terabytes of video/image data.
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines that include automated model validation, performance benchmarking, and artifact management for both cloud and edge targets.
• Experience with model optimization toolchains, including TensorRT, ONNX, and quantization techniques, specifically for cross-compilation to ARM targets like NVIDIA Jetson.

We are seeking an experienced safety professional to lead and scale our manufacturing safety program. This role will own the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety policies, training, compliance systems, and hazard controls across our facility. Our work involves industrial manufacturing processes, hazardous materials, high-energy systems, and emerging weapons-related technologies—so this role requires strong judgment, technical credibility, and the confidence to stop unsafe work when necessary.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will spend time on the production floor, working directly with manufacturing, engineering, and leadership to proactively identify risks, strengthen safeguards, and build a culture where safety is a shared responsibility.

What You’ll Do:

Safety Program Leadership

• Own and formalize the company-wide safety program, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

• Establish and maintain a strong safety culture and stop-work authority framework

• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and inspections

Hazard Analysis & Risk Management

• Lead hazard analyses and safety studies for manufacturing processes (e.g., MIL-STD-882 or similar methodologies)

• Oversee Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), lift limits, machine guarding, and keep-out zones

Specialized Safety Oversight

• Develop safety protocols for firearms handling, weapons integration, and explosive materials (as applicable to future programs)

• Support safe planning and execution of field-testing activities

• Oversee chemical safety, storage, disposal, and digital SDS systems

• Ensure appropriate PPE programs, respiratory protection, and facility zoning

Emergency Preparedness & Incident Response

• Develop and maintain emergency action plans, evacuation maps, and muster procedures

• Oversee fire protection systems, extinguisher programs, and drill coordination

• Establish and manage incident reporting and corrective action processes

• Coordinate first aid, AED, trauma kits, and responder training

Training & Documentation

• Implement and manage a structured safety training program

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain quality management systems (QMS), including procedures for inspections, testing, and compliance with standards like ISO 9001 or AS9100, to ensure consistent product integrity across operations.
• Design, fabricate, and implement custom inspection tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and efficient measurement of machined parts.
• Program, set up, and operate CMMs using software such as PC-DMIS or similar to perform complex dimensional and geometric inspections.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming machined parts using advanced precision tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
• Verify part conformance to engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality requirements, with in-depth application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Identify and document defects, non-conformances, or discrepancies; quarantine unacceptable parts and collaborate with suppliers on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, generate detailed reports on inspection results using data analysis tools, and track quality trends to drive supplier improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, procurement, production, and design teams to resolve technical issues and optimize inspection processes.

What You'll Do:

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of machined parts and assemblies using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

Position Overview:

Allen Control Systems is seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to support the inspection, testing, and quality analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to upholding excellence in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do:

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of machined parts and assemblies using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
• Verify conformance to engineering drawings, blueprints, and tolerances, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and initiate quarantine procedures for defective items while notifying relevant teams.
• Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and support supplier quality audits to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
• Maintain inspection equipment through routine calibration and troubleshooting to guarantee measurement accuracy.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues, track trends, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Generate reports on quality metrics, such as defect rates and yield, using basic data analysis tools.

What You'll Need:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or assembly setting.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and reading technical drawings/blueprints.
• Basic understanding of quality standards like ISO 9001 and statistical process control (SPC).
