Qualifications
The Role
Black Ore Technologies is seeking a strategic Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth. As an early GTM hire, you’ll own the full sales cycle — from pipeline generation to close — bringing our AI-powered tax automation platform to accounting firms and financial institutions. Basic Qualifications

Qualifications
The Role
You will be joining the VP of Operations to drive Black Ore’s business and revenue operations build out. As a BizOps you'll be a close partner to the go-to-market, product, finance and executive teams. Near-term responsibilities include defining GTM strategy, success metrics and tactics/processes and partnering closely with sales to increase efficiency for the team and NPS for our customers. Broader responsibilities include launching new GTM channels and business units, setting up reporting & analytics, supporting corporate strategy & planning, and driving special projects across the business.

Qualifications
The Role
We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Tax Engineer to partner with customers during onboarding and ensure day-one success. You’ll lead a structured implementation that transitions teams from prior solutions, configures their Black Ore instance, runs readiness and performance checks, maintains a tight feedback loop between our R&D and GTM teams, and trains end users so they’re productive immediately. This is a cross-functional role for someone with a strong tax background who builds trust with customers and internal stakeholders alike.
What You’ll Do
- Own onboarding: Run kickoff, project plan, and weekly cadence; keep timelines and expectations clear.
- Configure & connect: Set up environments, SSO/roles, and integrations; verify data flows and basic controls.
- Readiness & performance checks: Execute structured test plans on representative workflows; document results against agreed success criteria.
- Issue triage & feedback loop: Capture edge cases and user feedback; file crisp tickets and partner with AI/Data/Engineering on resolutions.
- Enablement: Deliver training, quick-reference guides, and best practices; prepare admins and practitioners for go-live.
- Handoff & scale: Establish exception workflows and dashboards; transition to Customer Success with clear operating playbooks.
Basic Qualifications
- 6-10+ years of experience: Most recently as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager in public accounting
- 4+ years of 1040 experience: Hands-on 1040 prep/review in a CPA or tax services setting.
- Tax Software Experience: Familiarity with some of the following: CCH Axcess Tax, CCH ProSystem fx, Thomson Reuters GoSystem, Thomson Reuters UltraTax, Intuit ProConnect, Intuit Lacerte, Intuit ProSeries, Drake.
- Detail Oriented: Strong tax review/tie-out skills to ensure accurate automation and reliable results.

Responsibilities
- Design and engineer NLP solutions to solve real-world problems within the tax industry and push state of the art LLMs and assistants.

Basic Qualifications

The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building the future version of our products, driving innovation, and supporting a high-performing engineering culture. As a senior member of the Engineering team, you will work cross functionally and be expected to influence end to end the technology, product and user experience. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and deploying software components from the ground up through production. You will work both independently and with your team to deliver software successfully, constructively identify problems, and integrate solutions. The Ideal candidate profile for this role is someone who is a builder at heart that still enjoys building products while also helping to establish a software development team. 90% of your time will be initially spent hands on building our platform, while also helping to grow and uplevel our engineering organization in the US.

Qualifications
Required
- 8–12+ years building and shipping applied ML / NLP / LLM systems in production.
- Strong experience in summarization, classification, extraction, and NER.
- Direct experience training, fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying LLMs.
- Expert Python + PyTorch; able to own full ML pipelines independently.
- End-to-end production ML experience (data → modeling → infra → deployment → monitoring).
- Ability to move fast, iterate tightly, and ship working systems in resource-constrained environments.
- Strong debugging ability across the stack (data quality, tokenization, model behavior, infrastructure).
Preferred
- Prior experience in document intelligence, financial systems, or enterprise automation.
- Experience building multi-model or multi-agent architectures.
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks for high-stakes workflows.
- Experience operating in a startup or 0→1 environment.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Applied AI Leader who will own the design, training, and deployment of our core AI systems. This role is execution-heavy: building models, writing code, designing pipelines, debugging failures, and shipping production AI. You will directly build and scale LLM-based extraction, classification, summarization, reasoning, and agentic systems that power the end-to-end Tax Autopilot workflow. What You Will Do
Model Development (Hands-On)
- Design and implement NLP/LLM systems for extraction, summarization, classification, and NER
- Fine-tune, distill, and optimize LLMs for tax-domain tasks.
- Build evaluation frameworks, datasets, and automated testing pipelines.
- Implement prompt engineering, retrieval strategies, and agent workflows.
Production Engineering
- Own end-to-end model deployment into production environments.
- Build and maintain training pipelines, inference services, and monitoring systems.
- Debug real-world performance issues across data, models, retrieval, and orchestration.
- Drive continual improvement through tight iteration loops on accuracy, speed, and cost.
Execution & Ownership
- Translate ambiguous operational and product problems into concrete ML approaches.
- Ship production-ready Python and service code—no hand-off to others.
- Work directly with engineering to integrate models deeply into application workflows.
- Prioritize high-impact improvements and cut what doesn’t matter.
