- Perform documented pre-shift 360 walk-around inspection of the equipment.
- Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate such stated equipment.

Contracts Manager
The Contracts Manager supports the organization by reducing risk related to contracts, insurance, bonds, subcontractor agreements, contractor compliance (M/W/S/DBE), and claims. Provides risk management support, guidance, and training to internal teams to ensure compliance, mitigate exposure, and promote consistent practices. Works cross-functionally with project teams, vendors, and legal to ensure contract integrity and execution success.
This position is based out of Edison, NJ. Physical presence is a necessary job function of this role. Ability to visit jobsites with an occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle by supporting the project teams: intake, review, approval, execution, amendments, and closeout.
- Draft and review contracts (vendor, subcontracts, service agreements, leases, etc.).
- Provide project teams with approved template documents, including required flow-down provisions.
- Support project teams with subcontract and purchase order execution, including coordination with outside legal counsel.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on processes and procedures.
- Maintain contract tracking systems and document repositories.
- Ensure execution strategies are aligned with project and company goals.
- Manage insurance renewals across all company policies.

- Perform audits of all contracts, purchase orders, change orders and subcontractor insurance certificates for completeness and adherence to contract requirements to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Track subcontractor bonding and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Coordinate company bonding needs, including all bond procurement, ongoing support, and closeout.
- Provide estimating support related to bonding requirements.
- Review and assess credit applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in contracts management (construction or project-based industries preferred).
- Possess experience with construction-specific agreements, including subcontracts, change orders, scopes of work, flow-down requirements, and project-specific risk allocation
- Construction industry experience required (or similar environment with a field-based workforce).
- Working knowledge of contract law, insurance requirements, and licensing.
- Proven skill in contract negotiation and contract terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using contract lifecycle management software preferred.

- Clean and prepare the construction site to eliminate possible hazards.

Project Accountant
- Ensures all invoices are submitted on time and with the appropriate documentation. Follows up to assure timely payment of invoices, change orders, and claims.
- Prepares quarterly accurate and reliable forecasts and reports that enable management to make effective business decisions.
- Timely prepares the cash flow forecast to project and manage billings and costs as well as percentage of completion.
- Prepares the initial budget download process, and works with the PM / Super to set up the coding structure for the project. On a timely basis updates the project budget to account for change orders and project revisions.
- Ensures cost are properly captured and submitted on a timely basis for change orders as necessary. Prices up and manages submission and billing of changes orders with the PM.
- Ensures the team properly tracks, daily logs, monthly reconciles, and impeccably documents quantities.
- Ensures all payroll issues are accurately and resolved timely.
- Ensures the project team accurately completes all minority, affirmative action, and EEO reporting in a timely manner.
- Ensures all subcontractor documentation is received and executed in a timely manner to ensure compliance to the payment terms of the Subcontractor Agreement.
- Ensures all invoices are received and vouchered in the appropriate month, prior to the monthly closing deadline.
- Reviews and understands the Client's contract for general specifications, sales tax, invoicing, extra work billing, and change management.
- Prepares data and reports to lead the weekly Billing and Collections Huddle and Cost Huddle.
- Reviews the weekly equipment charges and utilization reports. Discusses any variances with the project team to ensure they make real time cost decisions.
- Ensures closeout items are completed by the end of each phase of work and all retainage is collected timely.

The Project Manager leads the project team and works in partnership with our Field Management to build a safe, high-quality, profitable project while beating the estimated budgets and improving the total Operating Profit margin over the original bid. The Project Manager role is key to fostering great client relations and developing our employees. Field Engineer
- Properly tracks quantities on a daily basis and reconciles them each month for payment purposes.
- Supports the Quality personnel and the project
- Manages/reviews all foremen's reports daily to ensure all information is properly recorded before any income, cost, or inventory entry.
- Documents all Time and Material operations on a capture sheet and reconciles with the client on a daily basis
- Produces and manages project submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications so all are submitted and approved prior to the start of work.

The Pipe Foreman will direct and manage the construction tasks and activities of craft and labor crews to construct roadways using construction plans to ensure safety, quality, production, and environmental, goals are met. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Position has direct responsibility for personnel, equipment, scheduling, safety, quality workmanship and completion of assigned projects on time and within estimated budget.
This position will primarily perform supervisory duties but may assist with general laborer and equipment operation tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with site management to determine pipe routes, follow blueprints, pipe layout, and install sequence.
- Inspects work site to determine sequencing and method of pipe installation and survey.
- Perform pre-task meetings with work crew to ensure safe work practices, procedures and hazards are identified within the scope of the crew’s work assignment. Interpret company policy to workers, enforcing safety rules and regulations and recommend corrective actions when performance and behavioral expectations and standards are not met.
- supervise a pipe crew who lay pipes, install sanitary or storm water sewer structures or pipe systems, grade, level, and backfill trench bases.
- Be familiar with the type of soils on a site and ensure appropriate monitoring of oxygen levels within an enclosed excavation area. Give specific instructions on how to excavate, including at what angle and to what depth the crew should dig. Expected to be highly knowledgeable of reinforcement safety systems needed to be installed on the walls of a deep trench to prevent a cave-in.
- Exercises judgement and uses discretion to troubleshoot and problem solve issues as they may arise throughout the course of the work.
- Completes daily Forman Report, tracks, and logs daily payroll records, verifies accuracy, and submits in a timely manner.
- Recognize material / tool / equipment requirements based on upcoming activities from drawing take-offs and layout work. Interpret blueprints specifications and job orders and assists worker in solving job site problems. Understanding plans, specifications, elevations, grades, and grade checks. Must be able to interpret grade and pave requirements. Thorough understanding of all base and grading equipment and processes.
- Supervise work crew and develop work schedules and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary actions. Check employee’s time sheets for accurate and cost coding and attendance. Ensure new employees are orientated to the job site for safety requirements and tool location. Maintains responsibility for tracking and maintaining tools.
- Assign work task and provide on-site instruction on work processes and procedures and inspect work for compliance with plans and specifications. Able to access work aptitude and ethic for new hires. Coordinate work schedules with other foremen and inspect materials. Operates power equipment and other machinery as needed and performs all task of worker in the crew as required.
- Trains employees on proper use of equipment, improving job performance, controlling cost and quality of work, increasing productivity, improving communication and housekeeping on project.
- Receive instruction and specification from General Foremen and Superintendents and transmit them to other members of the crew and interface with project and field engineers and subcontractors as needed to carry out identified task and work orders.
- Act as first point of contact in superintendent’s absence to include interfacing with inspectors, EPA, OSHA, or any on site visitors. Participate in subcontractors and safety meetings, recognize, correct, and report safety hazards and halting unsafe work practices.
- Actively participates in the development of the Four Week Look Ahead schedules with the Superintendents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Experience: 5+ years of Supervisory experience in Underground Utility / Storm Drain / Sewer / Water Main.
- Experience with NCDOT projects and NCDOT Level II EC Certification a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and get along with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to lift construction materials exceeding 50 lbs.
- Ability to resolve problems and make appropriate and timely decisions
- Ability to properly access and evaluate workers performance and workmanship.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to work independently, within a team and lead a team.
- Must have a Valid Driver License
- Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent is preferred. A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
