Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure
Courier Health is on a mission to solve one of the biggest and most meaningful opportunities in healthcare: reinvent how people living with chronic and rare diseases are supported.
We are building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Infra Eng
Courier Health is a New York City-based technology company on a mission to improve the patient experience for hundreds of millions of people living with a chronic condition or rare disease. The company develops and delivers the fastest-growing patient experience solution for the life sciences industry.
Companies that choose Courier Health are achieving double-digit improvements to patient starts, time-to-start and ongoing adherence to life-altering therapies. As host of the invite-only Patient Innovators Summit and publisher of The State of Patient-Centricity in Biopharma report, Courier Health is backed by leading investors, including Oak HC/FT, Norwest and Work-Bench.
Come Build with Us
We're a NYC-based team that believes culture, craft, and customer obsession go hand in hand. We show up for each other the same way we show up for the people we serve. We’re an office-first company that values in-person collaboration 4 days per week because we believe the best work happens when you can collaborate and brainstorm together in the same room. If that sounds like your kind of place, we think you'll love it here.
The Opportunity
Courier Health is at an inflection point. We exist to get patients faster, better access to life-saving therapies, and every one of those patients depends on infrastructure that is reliable, secure, and ready to scale. The platform our engineers build on determines how quickly we can ship for our customers and how quickly patients feel it. This role owns that.
You'll design, deploy, and evolve our serverless-first AWS platform (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, AppSync, and Aurora) along with the multi-account architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and guardrails that let every engineer move fast and ship with confidence. It's a rare combination: deep technical ownership at an early-stage company, in a domain where the stakes are real. If you're motivated by the opportunity to have an outsized impact on not just your company, but the healthcare industry at large, this is the role.
What You'll Build
A serverless platform that scales with our growth. Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, AppSync, and Aurora are the core of what you'll operate and evolve. You'll keep it fast, reliable, and secure as our customer base and data volumes grow and provide the architectural guidance that helps teams build systems worthy of it.
Guardrails that make the right thing the easy thing. You'll own our AWS multi-account architecture: account hierarchy, Service Control Policies, and IAM Identity Center. You'll build and maintain the CI/CD pipelines and broader developer platform that make compliant-by-default the path of least resistance for every engineer on the team.
Observability and security we can stake the mission on. We work in healthcare so system health isn't optional. You'll implement and manage the monitoring and alerting that keep us ahead of problems, and proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities and infrastructure risk with an automation-first mindset that scales hardening without slowing delivery.
The engineering operations that make the whole team faster. You'll continuously improve our day-to-day engineering operations, select and deploy the tools that keep our roadmap on track, build the integrations that bridge our backend services with our infrastructure layer, and establish the infrastructure standards that will scale with the company while collaborating across teams to unblock technical challenges wherever they show up.
What Makes You Successful
- 3–5 years of experience with public cloud infrastructure
- Deep expertise in AWS, including hands-on experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge) and container orchestration (EKS)
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS Organizations, multi-account governance, and IAM Identity Center
- Proven ability to design, deploy, and monitor cloud infrastructure at scale

- You debate technical decisions constructively and advocate for the right solutions
- You work independently and take ownership without waiting to be asked while supporting engineers across multiple teams
- Motivated by our mission to improve healthcare through technology
- B.S. in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
Bonus points if you have:
- TypeScript proficiency
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or LLM-powered systems

The Opportunity
Every deal we win is a step toward more patients on therapy. What we build before the contract is signed determines what patients experience after. This role owns that.
As a Solutions Consultant, you'll partner with Sales, Product, and Client Solutions to scope solutions that meaningfully change how life sciences companies serve patients. You'll lead the technical and strategic work behind every deal — from discovery workshops to demos to ROI cases — and build the function from the ground up.
If you want to shape how a fast-growing company sells, work directly with senior stakeholders, and see your fingerprints on a function that didn't exist before you arrived, this is the role. The problems are real, the customers are sophisticated, and the impact is measured in patient lives.
What You'll Build
A discovery practice that uncovers what really matters. You'll run live workshops and needs assessments with prospective clients to map their patient journeys, team processes, and access challenges. Your job is to surface the constraints — technology stacks, partner ecosystems, data structures — that shape what good looks like, and translate them into scope that's accurate and ambitious.
Demos and business cases that move deals. You'll lead compelling product demonstrations and build value cases that model platform ROI. Prospects should leave the room understanding not just what the product does, but exactly what it will do for them.
A bridge between the market and the product. You'll bring real client feedback back to Product, helping tailor existing features and inform new ones. The best Solutions Consultants make the product better, not just sell it better.
The Solutions Consulting function itself. As we build out the team, you'll help define how this work gets done at Courier Health — playbooks, templates, hand-offs to Client Solutions, and the standards that future hires will inherit.
What Makes You Successful
- 5+ years in strategic consulting, client-facing enterprise SaaS account management, enterprise pre-sales value engineering, or enterprise solutions consulting
- Comfort with technical depth — CRM architecture, data storage, data pipelines, API configurations, and joining complex data sets are conversations you can lead, not just follow
- Strong executive presence; you've presented to senior stakeholders and large groups and made the room lean in
- Analytical rigor and extreme attention to detail; you don't let imprecise scoping slip through
- A competitive instinct and genuine investment in our clients' success and their patients' outcomes
- Willingness to travel to client sites and industry conferences
- Bonus points if you've supported rare disease or specialty pharma clients
Benefits
- 100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)

IT Operations Manager
Courier Health is on a mission to solve one of the biggest and most meaningful opportunities in healthcare: reinvent how people living with chronic and rare diseases are supported.
We are building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes.

We're an office-first company that values in-person collaboration 4 days per week because we believe the best work happens when you can collaborate and brainstorm together in the same room. If that sounds like your kind of place, we think you'll love it here.
The Opportunity
Courier Health is at an inflection point. We exist to get patients living with chronic and rare diseases faster, better access to the therapies that change their lives. That work depends on a team that can move without friction and on data those patients trust us to protect and right now, no one owns the systems, devices, and security that make both possible. This role does.
This is our first dedicated IT hire: the person who will build and run IT end to end, from identity and device fleet to security, compliance, and the office itself. You'll set the roadmap, not inherit one.
For the right person, this is rare. You get a clean slate at a high-growth health tech company, the agency to design the function the way it should be built, and the kind of cross-company impact that's hard to find once an IT org already exists. The systems you stand up will shape how every Courier employee works for years.
What You'll Build
Systems and access that scale with the team. Administer the full SaaS portfolio - Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, alongside identity through Okta or equivalent: SSO, MFA, role-based access, and automated workflows. Own onboarding and offboarding end to end, so day one feels seamless and the last day is airtight across HRIS, identity, and every app.
Hardware and a workplace that just work. Run MDM across a primarily Mac fleet (Jamf, Kandji, or Intune) and the full hardware lifecycle, from procurement and provisioning to asset tracking and retrieval. Keep office IT reliable - network, Wi-Fi, conference-room AV, printers - including standing up our upcoming office move from the ground up. You're also the face of support: clearing the ticket queue against SLAs and giving white-glove help to everyone, executives included.
Security and compliance that hold up under audit. Partner with our CTO to own endpoint protection, patching, and device compliance, then carry the IT side of SOC 2 and HIPAA -access reviews, audit evidence, vendor security reviews, and the customer security questionnaires that close deals. In healthtech, the data patients count on is only as safe as the controls behind it.
The IT function, built from scratch. Vendor relationships, renewals, negotiations, and the IT budget are yours to own. So is the toil - you'll automate it with scripting, APIs, and AI tooling wherever it helps. You'll set the roadmap, capacity, and priorities while writing the runbooks that keep IT repeatable as we scale.
What Makes You Successful
- 5+ years in IT operations at a startup or high-growth tech company, including time as the primary owner of IT - you've been the person the whole company relied on, not one of many
- Hands-on depth with identity (Okta or equivalent SSO/SCIM/MFA), MDM (Jamf, Kandji, or Intune), and corporate SaaS administration (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom)
- A track record of owning onboarding/offboarding, device lifecycle, and endpoint security end to end
- Experience supporting compliance in a regulated environment (SOC 2 and/or HIPAA) -access reviews, audit evidence, and working directly with auditors and security teams
- Vendor management and budget ownership, with the judgment to negotiate well
- A bias for automation (Python, n8n, APIs, or equivalent) and a service-first instinct that treats every ticket as someone's blocked day
- Comfort with autonomy and ambiguity, and the maturity to set priorities for a function no one has run before
- Bonus points if you bring: healthcare, health-tech, or other regulated-industry experience; real networking and conference-room AV depth; or HRIS integrations, IaC (Terraform), and compliance platforms (Vanta, Secureframe)
Benefits
- 100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)
- 401(k) with employer funded match
- Unlimited Vacation
- Commuter Benefits
- Paid parental leave
- Catered lunch on Fridays
- Wellness stipend

This role is based out of our New York City Office. We’re an office-first company that values in-person collaboration 4 days per week, while also providing flexibility as needed. If you’re scrappy, resourceful, and excited to help build a world-class team we’d love to meet you!
The Opportunity
As Director of Legal, you will be Courier Health's first dedicated legal hire, reporting directly to the CFO. You will build the legal infrastructure that lets a high-growth Series B company operate smoothly and serve as a trusted strategic resource for leadership.
What You'll Build
Legal infrastructure that scales. Evaluate, strengthen, and expand the frameworks, templates, and processes that let Courier Health manage its legal affairs without slowing down. From commercial agreements to data processing addenda, you would ensure that the right structures exist and that they're adopted by teams.

Strategic risk judgment. Serve as a sounding board for the CFO and executive team on legal risk across the business. Flag what matters, contextualize what doesn't, and help leadership make confident decisions with the information they need.
Rigorous oversight of compliance and regulatory risk. Courier Health handles sensitive patient data on behalf of the world's leading biopharma companies, and we take that responsibility seriously. You will be accountable for ensuring the right legal and compliance frameworks are in place, working closely with specialized outside counsel on HIPAA and data privacy matters, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
Legal process that runs at scale. Design how legal work flows at Courier Health: intake, triage, turnaround expectations, and escalation paths. Build systems that keep legal proactive, and not reactive.

In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of enterprise life sciences clients from implementation through ongoing growth — serving as the primary strategic partner for their Patient Services and Field Access programs. You'll sit at the intersection of delivery, strategy, and relationship, translating client needs into outcomes on both sides.
This is a role for someone who wants to do consequential work. You'll have real influence over how Courier Health shows up for its clients, how the Client Solutions practice evolves, and ultimately, how many patients get the support they need.
What You'll Build
Drive client outcomes and expansion. You own the long-term health of your client relationships. Success means your clients are hitting their goals, renewing, and expanding. You'll identify opportunities for clients to get more value from Courier Health and partner with our commercial team to pursue them.
Strategic advisory and thought partnership. You'll advise client leadership on Patient Services and Field Access strategy based on cross-client patterns, program data, and deep familiarity with their business. You’re comfortable challenging the status quo and asking “why”.
Client relationships that hold up under pressure. You'll earn trust with day-to-day users and client executive leadership alike — not just by being responsive, but by knowing their business well enough to see around corners. You'll become the partner they call when things get complicated.
A feedback loop that makes the product better. You'll be close enough to clients to hear what's working and what isn't — and credible enough internally to make sure that feedback shapes the roadmap. You'll be a key input into how Courier Health evolves its platform and service offering.
Develop the people around you. You'll mentor junior team members; helping them think strategically about accounts, grow their client instincts, and accelerate their careers. Strong operators here become leaders.
