Partner Success Manager I – K-12
Roles & Responsibilities
Reports to: Sr. Director of Customer Success
Position Overview
The K-12 Partner Success Manager (PSM) is responsible for actively managing an assigned portfolio of K-12 school district and child nutrition partnership accounts. The PSM will have full ownership over each account, executing all required operations while fostering a positive partner experience in alignment with federal, state, and district food service requirements. The PSM will cultivate and expand business opportunities for long-term growth within the Partner Success Team, and will operate cross-functionally with Everytable’s internal teams to ensure proper execution of scheduled food service, regulatory compliance, and the overall success of each K-12 partnership.
Responsibilities
Manage and serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of K-12 school district and child nutrition food service partnership accounts.
Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships/Business Development team to implement and onboard new K-12 accounts — coordinate service launch, follow up post-launch for feedback, and address additional support needs.
Develop deep understanding of each partner’s unique K-12 food service needs, including meal pattern requirements, age/grade group compliance, and site-specific logistics; make knowledgeable recommendations and address partner requests, concerns, and program changes.
Ensure all menus and meal offerings meet applicable federal program requirements, including the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and other applicable USDA child nutrition programs.
Manage and maintain accurate account data within Meals Companion, ensuring menus, quantities, and site-specific ordering information are up to date and submitted within required deadlines.
Through thoughtful and frequent communications, build and nurture long-term relationships with school district food service directors, site administrators, and cafeteria managers to become a trusted source of support.
Identify common service failures and adjust menu planning and account settings to eliminate them — collaborate with management and internal teams to align with partner needs and district compliance standards.
Frequently engage with high-priority partners to identify and adequately address unmet needs.
Execute weekly deliverables including menu planning and order processing, invoicing, updating account information, and communicating with internal teams to ensure accuracy on orders and deliveries; account for school calendar schedules, holiday closures, and district-specific service windows.
Remain available early mornings and weekends when necessary to troubleshoot issues and fulfill operational duties.
Analyze product COGS to ensure profitability when creating weekly/monthly menu selections for each partner account while maintaining compliance with meal pattern requirements.
Attend and participate in team meetings, voicing challenges, opportunities for improvement, and potential solutions that require management support and escalation.
Build strong internal working relationships with cross-functional teams to drive partner success goals: business development, strategic partnerships, fulfillment, finance, logistics, and marketing.
Lead recovery coordination when order or delivery issues arise — make knowledgeable decisions and communicate clearly with internal teams and leaders.
Accurately process weekly and monthly invoices for all K-12 food service partner accounts — execute duties by weekly deadlines and collaborate with Everytable’s Finance team to resolve billing, payment, and collections challenges.
Identify opportunities for additional business within existing partnerships and collaborate with Strategic Partnerships/Business Development for new contract and renewal processes.
Mentor, train, and serve as a supportive resource for new Partner Success team members.
Hit or exceed KPIs and/or financial performance as set forth by the Director of Partner Success (e.g., site visits, menu COGS, marketing initiatives, special projects).
Achieve 90% account retention through the life of K-12 food service contracts — mitigate churn through creative problem solving.
Position Requirements
Minimum 5+ years in account management, customer success, and/or B2B sales; experience in K-12 food service or child nutrition programs strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of federal child nutrition programs, including NSLP, SBP, CACFP, and USDA meal pattern and reimbursement requirements.
Experience with Meals Companion or similar K-12 food service ordering and management platforms.
Familiarity with other K-12 meal program tools and reporting systems (e.g., nutrient analysis software, point-of-sale systems, state agency reporting).
Customer-obsessed mentality — strives to meet and exceed partner expectations.

Thrives in a dynamic work environment — ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities while meeting deadlines and partner needs.
Proficiency working with data and spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills — comfortable engaging with school district administrators, food service directors, and individuals at all organizational levels.
Creative problem solver — collaborates with others and hustles to find solutions.
Interested in data analytics — able to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions to best serve partner needs and goals.
