About Faire
Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.
We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.
About this role
Discovery is at the heart of Faire's value to retailers. Our pillar's mission is to help retailers discover products and brands their customers will love — whether they know exactly what they're looking for, or are just browsing for something new.
This is one of the most consumer-facing PM roles at Faire. You will lead Inspire, the top-of-funnel discovery team responsible for Faire's most visited surfaces — the homepage, category pages, seasonal hubs, and global navigation — and you will own the vision and product strategy for the Faire mobile app.
Inspire is the team building the next generation of wholesale discovery: a curated, dynamic, and personalized experience that makes every visit engaging and every session an opportunity to find something new. We're incubating new formats — a new discovery feed, interactive merchandising modules, trend-forward content — that make Faire not just a place to transact, but a destination to explore.
The Faire app is one of our most significant growth levers. App-native retailers are among our highest-LTV cohorts, but there's a substantial gap between the app and desktop experience — in conversion, in evaluation quality, and in product craft. We're investing to close that gap, and this PM will own that vision: making the app feel like a product someone designed, not a website in a shell.
This role has direct executive visibility and real 0→1 mandate. You'll shape Inspire's strategy and the app's multi-year direction.
What you'll do
Become an expert on how retailers find inspiration, both on and off Faire, and how these moments influence product discovery and purchasing decisions.
Own the product vision and roadmap for Faire's top-of-funnel discovery experiences (homepage, category pages, seasonal hubs, global navigation) and the Faire mobile app.
Lead the mobile app redesign — establish a coherent app vision (information architecture, navigation, core interactions, craft) and drive progress against it in close partnership with design, engineering, and adjacent pod leads.
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing to deliver experiences that balance retailer delight, brand voice, and measurable business impact.
Define and track success metrics for engagement and downstream conversion — running disciplined experiments and translating results into clear roadmap direction.
Work directly with Faire's CEO and senior leadership to shape Inspire's long-term strategy and the multi-year app vision.
Qualifications
8+ years of product experience at a high-growth tech company or as a startup founder, with a track record of driving meaningful user and business impact.
Proven track record owning top-of-funnel or high-engagement consumer surfaces — feeds, homepages, browse experiences, or explore surfaces — ideally at a high-engagement platform (consumer social, e-commerce, marketplace, or content discovery). You've built products that create habits, not just convert transactions.
Mobile product depth — you've owned a native app experience as a primary product area, driven measurable improvement in app-specific metrics (conversion, engagement, retention), and worked hands-on with mobile engineering teams. You think natively in mobile UX patterns.
0→1 experience — you've launched new products or experiences from scratch and know how to scope MVPs that prioritize learning without sacrificing quality.
Highly collaborative and persuasive communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills.
Deep user empathy — you care about understanding customer needs and creating thoughtful, impactful experiences.
Salary Range
San Francisco, CA/New York City, NY: The pay range for this role is $220,000 - $302,500 per year.
This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors, including transferable skills, work experience, market demand, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.

The Discovery pillar's mission is to make it easy and delightful for retailers to find brands and products their customers will love. This role owns a product roadmap for one of our search algorithm areas — ranking, retrieval, or query understanding — the largest discovery surface by order volume.
This role sits at the intersection of data science, marketplace strategy, and execution. You'll work closely with a world-class data science team to define goals, get into the weeds of the data, and maintain the execution velocity that lets us keep improving these systems.
What you'll do
Own a roadmap for your search algorithm area that is analytically grounded, clearly prioritized, and connected to business outcomes such as retention, reorder rate, and buyer conversion.
Direct the analytical work of your pod — partnering with dedicated strategy & analytics and data science partners to identify opportunities, diagnose root causes of failure modes, interpret outputs, and turn findings into clear priorities.
Refine the offline and online metrics that help us understand the retailer's search experience and the performance of each system component.
Run a tight operation across many moving parts — ML platform dependencies, retrieval/ranking coupling, feature engineering cycles, model architecture changes — and proactively unblock bottlenecks.
Build trusted partnerships across ML Platform, Discovery Infrastructure, and adjacent Search and Personalization teams, managing your team's bandwidth while delivering on shared goals.
Represent your team's strategy and progress to leadership, connecting algorithmic work to marketplace outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of product management experience at a high-growth tech company, or 5+ years as a data scientist or machine learning engineer with 1-2 years transitioned into a product management role.
Deep comfort working in data — you independently generate insights by knowing how to slice and frame analytical questions, and could hold your own sparring with data scientists on methodology and interpretation
Strong goal definition skills — you translate ambiguous business objectives into crisp, unambiguous goals, and catch misalignment early
Execution rigor across complex, multi-dependency work — you run a tight operation across many moving parts and proactively unblock bottlenecks
Marketplace business intuition — you reason about algorithmic decisions in aggregate terms (conversion, reorder rate, revenue impact) and understand two-sided marketplace tradeoffs
ML/DS partnership fluency — you don't need to build models, but you understand algorithmic system architecture well enough to ask the right questions and communicate credibly with highly technical counterparts
You are relentlessly resourceful and comfortable executing with limited information and ambiguity
Experience in search, recommendations, or ads at a tech company is a plus
Salary Range
San Francisco, CA: The pay range for this role is $188,000 - $258,500 per year.

With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.
We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.
About the role
As a Senior Applied AI/ML Scientist on the Search team, you will help shape the technical vision, machine-learning algorithm strategy, and system design behind one of our most important growth levers: Search (the primary tool used by customers on any e-commerce site). You will advance real-time search and recommendation systems that power next-generation shopping experiences.
You’ll work at the frontier of algorithms, combining query understanding, deep learning, transformer-based sequential modeling, graph neural networks, and structured behavioral data to return hyper-relevant, personalized products and brands for every user query.
This is a rare chance to influence the end-to-end personalized discovery experience at Faire within a high-scale, deeply multi-modal environment, while collaborating closely with a talented team of scientists and engineers.
What you'll do
Build our next-generation Search ranking algorithms by integrating the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize the retailer discovery journey at Faire
Leverage LLM to extract multimodal signals (text, visual) to better profile users and their intents.
Partner closely with teams across Faire to experiment and improve the ML models for search ranking and beyond.
Design and productionize natural-language search and discovery systems so that intelligent agents can generate relevant and personalized collections, explain search results, and assist retailers with browsing, filtering, and evaluation.
Share best practices regarding deep learning model development, agent-workflow evaluation, and MLOps, and help teammates level up through code reviews and technical guidance.
You're a great fit if you have
5+ years of industry experience building large-scale ML models with business impact and shipping ML solutions to production, including 3+ years in search, recommendation, or ads ranking
A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
Strong programming skills (Python, Java, or equivalent) and hands-on experience with deep-learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark).
Deep understanding of machine learning best practices (e.g., training/serving, imbalanced data, A/B testing, feature engineering, and feature/model selection) and algorithms (e.g., user modeling, deep learning, and reinforcement learning) with applications in search, recommendation, and advertising domains.
A product-focused mindset and a bias toward execution—moving quickly from research papers to prototypes and production.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cross-functional influence that raise the technical bar beyond your immediate team.
Bonus Points
Contributions to open-source ML libraries or peer-reviewed publications in ML/AI.
Industry experience developing and productizing LLM-based applications and systems in the search domain.
Industry experience building search and recommendation systems for e-commerce or two-sided marketplaces.
Experience using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) for code development and daily productivity.
Familiarity with Kotlin

GTM Systems Engineer
San Francisco, CA
Apply
GTM Engineering builds and operates the intelligent systems, integrations, and automations that power Faire's GTM revenue org. We're the AI and technical backbone of GTM — accountable for the reliability, adoption, and continuous improvement of the tech stack. We're an AI-first team: we design intelligent workflows, build automation, and invest in the data foundations that make every capability we ship compound in value over time.
We're hiring a GTM AI & Systems Engineer to help build the next generation of AI and automation across Faire's go-to-market stack. This is a builder role on our GTM Engineering team — you'll design, build, and ship the agents, integrations, and workflows that take manual work off Sales and put Faire's data to work across the customer lifecycle.
You'll work across Salesforce, sales tools, and our growing AI/MCP tooling layer, partnering closely with RevOps, Sales, GTM Program Management, and Data & Backend Engineering to find the highest-leverage opportunities and turn them into systems people actually use. Every decision about what we build is made with an AI-first lens: agent before automation, automation before manual.
Why this seat
Wide latitude on the automation and AI layer — you'll help pick the highest-leverage problem, build it, and own how it runs, rather than execute a roadmap set for you.
A direct line from your work to a number the business feels: rep hours saved, pipeline surfaced, faster response times.
AI tooling as a first-class part of the job, not a side project you have to justify.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and ship AI agents and automations across the GTM motion: lead routing and scoring, account enrichment, sequencing and outbound support, deal support, and customer lifecycle signals.
Own and extend core parts of our Salesforce and GTM systems architecture alongside the rest of the GTM Engineering.
Contribute to Salesforce governance and DevOps hygiene as part of keeping the stack secure, reliable, and audit-ready.
Partner with our PAE team on the GTM data layer — Snowflake, Hightouch, Fivetran, Airflow, or related data tools — so usage and lifecycle signals reach the right system and trigger the right action automatically.
Partner with Sales, Success, RevOps, and Program Management to find where AI and automation create the most leverage, and turn that into working, adopted systems — not just proofs of concept.
Stand up evals, monitoring, and guardrails so every AI capability we ship is observable, reversible, and measured against a real business metric — pipeline influenced or rep time saved, not just uptime.
Set the bar for how AI shows up in Faire's GTM motion day to day — the data-quality standard, the review points, and the guardrails other builders on the team follow.
Help shrink the team's own keep-the-lights-on burden by identifying recurring operational work that's a good candidate for agent handling.
Track the AI and automation tooling landscape and bring the best of it into how Faire's GTM org operates.
Qualifications
5+ years building automation, integrations, or tooling in a GTM, RevOps, or Business Systems context, with systems you've shipped and currently operate in production.
Hands-on Salesforce experience (declarative, Apex/SOQL, DevOps) and working familiarity with the modern GTM stack (ETL, Reverse ETL, Snowflake, Clay, Gong, GitHub).
Production experience with integration/automation tooling — Workato, Zapier, n8n or similar iPaaS/MCP/agent-builder platforms.
Working fluency with AI tooling — LLM APIs, agent/orchestration frameworks, prompting with agents or AI-driven workflows.
Judgment about where AI and automation genuinely help versus where they create risk — you know when to push automation further and when to pull back, and when to keep a human in the loop.
Comfort with SQL and enough Python or scripting to build and debug your own pipelines and integrations.
A builder-operator mindset: you'd rather ship something small and real than plan something big and theoretical, and once it's live, you keep making it better.
Strong written communication — you can explain what a system does and why to both engineers and go-to-market stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience with BI, Snowflake, dbt, or other modern data warehousing tools.
Experience building or extending MCP servers or agent frameworks.
Comfort building lightweight internal tools or apps that give reps or ops a simple interface into a system.
Salary Range
San Francisco: the pay range for this role is $174,500 to $240,000 per year.
This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
