Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2026 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Staff Product Designer to serve as Flex's highest-caliber individual design contributor. In this role, you will set the bar for craft and quality across our entire product portfolio - not by managing designers, but by doing the work at a level others aspire to. You will drive design vision and strategy for the most complex, highest-impact initiatives at Flex, shaping how we build for our users and how the design function operates.

Define and articulate design vision for Flex's most critical and complex product initiatives, ensuring work aligns with business goals and resonates deeply with our users
Establish a north star for the consumer experience and drive cross-functional alignment around it
Influence product strategy and roadmap directly through the quality and clarity of your design work and perspective
Stay close to how the design industry and UX trends are evolving and bring those insights into Flex
Quality and Craft
Own the design process end-to-end on flagship initiatives, from research and ideation through refinement, prototyping, and final execution
Hold a high bar for craft across everything you touch, from individual interaction patterns to our design system
Build detailed prototypes that illuminate the future of the product and help teams make better decisions
Use AI across the design lifecycle for, rapid exploration, prototyping, and front-end workflows, and model how the team can do the same
Influence and Collaboration
Partner with design leadership, product, and engineering to shape the direction of complex, cross-cutting product areas
Collaborate with other designers to ensure alignment and consistency across the consumer experience
Advocate for design thinking and user-centered principles across the company at every level, up to and including executive leadership
Standards and Mentorship
Establish and evolve design standards, processes, and patterns that raise the quality floor for the entire organization
Provide mentorship and craft feedback to designers across the team
Contribute foundational elements and set the standard for how the design system should evolve
Key Qualifications
Experience: A demonstrated track record as a senior IC contributor on complex consumer products
Design Mastery: Deep expertise in UX/UI design with strong experience showcasing shipped work at significant scope and quality
Strategic Thinking: Ability and demonstrated experience to operate at the product strategy level, shaping direction through design
Craft: Exceptional execution skills with high attention to detail in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills; able to work fluidly with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and executive leadership
Tools and Tech: Proficiency in modern design tooling; and fluency with front-end development
AI Fluency: Comfort using AI tools across the design process for research, exploration, prototyping, and workflow improvement
Passion: Genuine interest in financial products and improving people's financial lives
Compensation
This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $125–$200 per hour, commensurate with experience and our internal leveling guidelines. Flex takes a market-based approach to pay and utilizes a geographic pay differential based on a cost of labor index; if you are located outside of our Tier 1 (NYC/Bay Area) markets, your rate will be adjusted to align with the market conditions of your specific geographic zone. There is potential for this engagement to convert to a full-time role, in which case compensation would be aligned to the full-time salary range and benefits for the level.

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience.
We’re looking for a hybrid designer and Webflow developer to help bring a new brand to life across our website. This role is for someone who can both design page experiences and build them in Webflow—owning work end to end rather than handing it off.
You’ll partner closely with our creative director, existing Webflow developer, content team, and PM to move the rebrand forward quickly. Design and implementation will happen in parallel rather than as separate, sequential phases.
We’re also looking for someone who works in an AI-native way—using AI, LLMs, coding assistants, agents, and workflow automation to accelerate design, page creation, development, content operations, and QA while maintaining a high bar for quality and brand consistency.
What you'll do
Design
Design high-fidelity, on-brand page layouts, components, and templates that bring our new brand direction to the web
Extend a small set of bespoke “hero” pages designed by our brand agency into a consistent, scalable system across the broader site
Design a range of marketing pages, from interactive and motion-rich experiences to simpler, templatized pages
Contribute to a reusable component and module library so design decisions propagate consistently across pages
Apply strong visual, responsive, accessible, and conversion-focused design principles
Build
Build and launch net-new pages, templates, components, and modules in Webflow
Create scalable Webflow systems using reusable components, variables, CMS collections, and responsive patterns
Translate Figma designs—your own and others’—into clean, high-fidelity Webflow builds
Implement interactions, animations, and custom HTML, CSS, or JavaScript when needed
Reskin and migrate existing pages while ensuring they remain easy for nontechnical partners to maintain
Use AI and automation
Use AI and coding assistants to accelerate design exploration, content structuring, page creation, component development, custom code, and debugging
Build or configure AI agents and workflow automations for CMS preparation, content transformation, metadata generation, page auditing, link validation, and QA
Identify repetitive processes that can become reliable, reusable AI-assisted workflows while critically reviewing output for accuracy, accessibility, originality, and brand quality
Ship & collaborate
Design, implement, test, and prepare pages for launch without unnecessary handoffs
Collaborate closely with the creative director, existing Webflow developer, content, marketing, and PM
QA across devices, browsers, and responsive breakpoints
Ensure strong performance, accessibility, SEO fundamentals, analytics readiness, redirects, and launch quality
Document key components, CMS structures, custom code, automations, and publishing workflows
What we're looking for
Strong design and Webflow development capabilities in one skill set, with a portfolio showing excellent visual and brand design alongside shipped, high-quality Webflow builds
Speed—the ability to move quickly and ship high-quality work in a fast-moving environment with shifting inputs, priorities, and timelines
A strong eye for systems, with experience creating scalable page templates, reusable components, module libraries, and CMS structures (e.g. shared templates with swappable color sets and content modules)
Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, comfort using JavaScript or custom code when needed, and the ability to implement high-fidelity builds from Figma
Strong hands-on experience with Webflow CMS, responsive behavior, reusable components, variables, and Webflow Interactions (IX2), including motion and interactive page elements
Demonstrated professional experience using AI and LLM tools, including building or configuring AI agents and workflow automations for design, development, content, or QA workflows
Strong attention to detail across responsive behavior, accessibility, QA, performance, SEO fundamentals, and design consistency
Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to communicate clearly, maintain momentum, and design and ship in parallel
Nice to have
Experience with GSAP, APIs, webhooks, or custom integrations
Experience with analytics, experimentation, or conversion optimization
Experience with major rebrands, content migrations, localization, or multi-product websites
Contract details
Hours: Full time, 40 hours a week
Duration: 3 month, with strong likelihood of extension or conversion with positive performance

Flex is investing in events as a primary channel for building brand awareness, pipeline, and deepening stakeholder relationships in our New Verticals business. As the Events Marketing Manager for New Verticals, you will design and execute our events strategy from the ground up. You'll work closely with the New Verticals revenue team, the Vice President of Partner Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to build a repeatable events playbook that generates pipeline, accelerates relationships, and builds Flex's brand in new markets.
What you’ll do
Own the full events calendar for our New Verticals business: execute 2-3 anchor industry events and support 3–5 smaller sales team events per vertical per year — from sponsorship negotiation and speaking opportunities through sales enablement, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
Enable the New Verticals sales team to maximize their attendance at 3-5 smaller industry events per vertical per year — develop pre-event briefings, target account lists, and talking points so every rep walks in prepared; plan and execute 10–12 person executive dinners tied to key events to deepen partner relationships.
Design and execute our events playbook for New Verticals, from run-of-show templates, budget tracking, attendee management, and measurement frameworks so strong execution becomes repeatable and scalable.
Define target audience segments for each event format, identifying the right decision-makers at each prospect, setting attendance criteria, and use post-event data to continuously sharpen targeting.
Partner with the revenue team to define target account lists for events and ensure revenue team follow-through post-event.
Manage events budget with precision, from tracking actuals vs. forecast, surfacing tradeoffs, and optimizing for impact per dollar in terms of pipeline generation.
Measure event effectiveness — attendance, pipeline generated, partner satisfaction — and report results to stakeholders cross-functionally.
Evaluate third-party event sponsorships and partner-hosted events as co-marketing opportunities for Flex.
Coordinate with the broader Partner Marketing team on integrated pre/post-event programs and co-marketing campaigns.
What you’ll bring
3-5 years in B2B event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation, with experience producing both brand presence at large industry conferences, creative marketing activations to drive pipeline, and intimate executive events.
Budget management experience — you're comfortable owning a P&L for events and making smart tradeoffs
Experience attributing event investment to pipeline & revenue outcomes. You can answer the question “was it worth it?” from any stakeholder with data
Comfort with Salesforce and HubSpot for campaign tracking, attendee lists, and post-event follow-up sequences & workflows
A builder's mindset. You've stood up events programs at early-stage companies or within new functions and can work without a fully formed playbook
Proven track record running high-touch executive events from soup to nuts: venue, speakers, agenda, logistics, and measurement
Experience & eagerness using AI thoughtfully and strategically in your day-to-day work
Compensation
Flex takes a market-based approach to pay, and compensation may vary depending on your primary work location. Work locations are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be commensurate with their experience, qualifications, and Flex’s internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
Tier 1 (NYC/Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle)
$132,000 - $165,000 USD
Tier 2 (Austin, Washington D.C. Philadelphia, San Diego, Chicago, Atlanta)
$118,800 - $148,500 USD
Tier 3 (Salt Lake City, all other USA cities)
$112,200 - $140,250 USD

Why are you being asked to complete this form?
We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack-MarTech
New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; USA
$170,000 - $250,000 USD
About the role Flex is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our MarTech (Marketing Technology) team. This role involves spearheading the implementation of the platforms, services, and customer-facing web experiences that power how Flex finds, wins, and keeps customers. MarTech is the connective layer between our ad platforms, website, messaging systems, analytics, and product data. We turn marketing spend into a measurable, repeatable growth engine, and give marketing the ability to launch, test, and personalize campaigns without hand-built engineering each time. It's a team with a broad surface area, owning growth engineering end to end across Lifecycle Marketing (email & SMS), Performance Marketing (paid acquisition), Brand (social and every getflex.com property), and Product Marketing. Here are some of the projects and systems in MarTech you'll have opportunities to work on: Incentive platform — event-driven credit assignment for referrals, affiliates, and campaigns. Attribution and measurement — conversion APIs, identity resolution, and spend/event pipelines behind our acquisition cost reporting. Customer-facing web — the full getflex.com surface area and paid-acquisition landing pages. Lifecycle messaging — campaign orchestration, audience syncs, and event-driven notifications. What you'll do Build and own full-stack marketing services and web experiences that drive customer acquisition and retention. Design and develop 24/7 high-scale APIs, event-driven services, and data pipelines. Our stack runs on AWS: Java and Spring Boot for the existing backend code base; TypeScript and React for web. Build measurement into everything we ship, and integrate third-party ad, analytics, and messaging platforms behind durable abstractions. Work closely with marketing, data, product, design, and engineering peers to launch features and experiments across web and mobile. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of professional software development experience. 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java. 3+ years of experience with TypeScript. 3+ years of experience with React (or React Native), including modern architectures and tooling in the React ecosystem (Hooks, Components, Context, state management). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration — especially translating between marketing goals and engineering tradeoffs. Proven experience building high-quality, high-performance web and mobile UIs to spec — including responsive, SEO-conscious, conversion-optimized pages. Proficient in Java frameworks and tools used at Flex, including Spring (core/web/boot), Gradle, JUnit, and JVM (memory/performance tuning, GC). Experience with service-oriented architecture, REST APIs, webhooks, message queues, event-driven design, and scalable architectures. Experience with AWS (EKS, Aurora RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB) and containerization tools. Comfort integrating and debugging third-party APIs and SDKs where you don't control the contract, including rate limits, partial failures, and reconciliation. Preferred Qualifications Experience on a growth, marketing engineering, or MarTech team. Hands-on experience with platforms such as Braze, Singular/AppsFlyer/Branch, Google Tag Manager, Amplitude, LaunchDarkly, or the Meta/Google/TikTok/Apple ad and conversion APIs. Familiarity with attribution, identity resolution, and conversion tracking, and the privacy constraints they operate under (consent management, state privacy laws, platform tracking restrictions). Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks, web performance optimization, and headless/CMS content tooling. Experience with big data platforms and tooling, including Snowflake. Proficient in CI/CD systems (preferably GitHub Actions), git, and automation; observability tools such as DataDog; and Infrastructure as Code using CDK or Terraform. Skilled at elevating team standards through best practices and mentoring junior engineers.
