Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse who is committed to reproductive justice and trauma-informed care, and energized by the opportunity to expand access to safe, patient-centered abortion care through telemedicine.
In this role, you will provide direct clinical support to patients undergoing medication abortion. As a remote RN, you will respond to patient’s medical questions and concerns, delivering timely triage, clinical assessment, and patient-specific nursing guidance. You’ll ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and cared for—providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care during moments that matter most.
We are currently hiring for a part time or full time RN.
Part time
- Working hours: 10 hr shifts - 12pm-10pm ET / 9am-7pm PT
- Working days: Friday and Saturday or Tuesday and Sunday
- + one on-call shift outside of scheduled working hours
- Compensation: $48/hr-$53/hr + on-call pay

Full time

- 2+ years of clinical experience as an RN (BSN required) preferably in telehealth
- 1+ year experience providing abortion & reproductive healthcare
- Active state licensure (RN) in least one of the following states: CA, CO, IL, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OH, VA or compact state license.
- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in real time
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, empathetic guidance to patients in moments of stress or uncertainty through chat and virtual visits
- Ability to navigate clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, organizational policies related to patient care and documentation

We are looking for providers eager to be at the forefront of a new model of care delivery that leverages telemedicine to challenge the status quo in healthcare. As a Hey Jane provider, you will provide medication abortion care to patients via Hey Jane’s online platform. Patients can opt for video or asynchronous appointments with a provider in order to be approved for treatment. Prescribers are responsible for reviewing patients’ medical intake responses, communicating with them via our HIPAA-compliant messaging app or on a live video appointment, and determining if they are eligible for online medication abortion treatment. Medications are then prescribed to a mail order pharmacy and sent directly to the patient. Administrative tasks, patient education and support, non-urgent medical support, and follow up review will primarily be done by our nursing and patient advocate teams. Medical prescribers will be responsible for responding to medical inquiries from patients that require further medical evaluation, as well as directing nursing staff regarding referrals and additional prescriptions, as necessary.
We are currently hiring for contract MDs licensed in Arizona or license+residency in one of the following states: CO, DC, DE, IL, MD, NJ, or WA
Working hours: Available for 15-20 hours a week during during our clinic hours (Mon-Sun 8am-10pm ET)
