The Mission: Build the Interface for Autonomous Growth
At Hilbert’s AI, we shorten "months" to "minutes." But intelligence is useless if it’s trapped in a black box. We are looking for Software Engineers who are "Product Architects" to build the Hilbert Portal, the interactive face of our AI engine.
You aren't just building dashboards or UI components; you are building the "cockpit" for world-class B2C leaders. From architecting the complex backend logic of our Agentic Conversation Engine to ensuring the sub-second responsiveness of our React/ClickHouse analytics, you own the end-to-end experience of human-AI collaboration.
The Hard Problem: Determinism in a Generative World
Building a UI for a standard SaaS is easy. Building a UI for an AI Agent is hard. You have to handle long-running asynchronous tasks, streaming reasoning loops, and multi-turn conversations while maintaining the strict security and configuration requirements of a Fortune 500 enterprise.
Our Current Hurdles:
Architectural Fluidity: We need our applications to be "Enterprise-Chameleons." You will be designing systems where the Auth method (SAML, OAuth, etc.) or even the underlying Database can be swapped out based on whether the customer is on our cloud or their own private infra.
The Agentic Engine: We are building a sophisticated engine that handles complex interactions between users and ML models. You’ll be responsible for the state management and backend services that make these non-deterministic interactions feel snappy and reliable.
The "Design Partner" Sprint: We frequently co-build entirely new products from scratch with industry leaders. You’ll need to move from "napkin sketch" to "production-ready service" in weeks, not months, using our Nx Monorepo and shared library architecture.
Internal Superpowers: Our AI/ML teams need a "Mission Control." You will build the internal tooling and admin panels that allow our engineers to monitor, tweak, and debug models in real-time.
Who You Are (The Profile)
The Product-Minded Engineer: You care as much about the "Why" as the "How." You understand that a beautiful UI is a failure if it doesn't solve the customer's quarterly revenue gap.
The Full-Stack Generalist: Our core stack is TypeScript, Node.js (Express), React, and MongoDB, but you’re the type of person who isn't afraid to self-host a CMS or deploy a VPN server if it unblocks the product.
Systems Architect: You don't just write functions; you build systems. You think about API contracts, containerization (K8s), and modularity from day one.
Ambiguity Enthusiast: You don’t need a Jira ticket with 20 screenshots. You’re energized by a vague problem and the autonomy to build the solution from the ground up.
What You’ll Own
The Hilbert AI Portal: Build and scale the primary interface used by Fortune 10 operators to run their growth engine.
Agentic UX: Lead the development of streaming, multi-turn, and "human-in-the-loop" interfaces that make our AI Agents feel like a natural extension of the team.
Enterprise Customization: Build the "packaging" logic that allows our web apps to be deployed into diverse enterprise environments with zero code changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Product Managers and AI/ML Engineers to bridge the gap between model outputs and user actions.
Bonus Points
AI/ML UX Experience: You’ve dealt with the "streaming and state" headaches of building LLM-powered chat or agent interfaces.
Platform / Monorepo Mastery: You’ve used Nx, or similar tools to manage complex microservice architectures.
Internal Tooling Junkie: You have a track record of building tools that make your fellow engineers 10x faster.
Security Conscious: You understand the fundamentals of building software that passes a SOC2 audit.

Compensation
Base salary range $140K – $180K • Offers Equity • Offers Bonus
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and stocks.
Overview
Application
Hilbert is a scalable, data science-first growth engine that gives B2C teams predictive clarity into user behavior, revenue drivers, and the actions that drive sustainable growth. Fully agentic by design, Hilbert shrinks months-long decision cycles to minutes.
From Fortune 10 enterprises to beloved brands like FreshDirect, Blank Street, and Levain Bakery, operators run their growth on Hilbert. We're also co-building alongside leading AI companies.
We're looking for a Privacy & Product Counsel who can build Hilbert's privacy program from the inside of the product - not bolt one on after the fact - who is fluent across US, UK, and European privacy law, and who can move at the speed our engineering and GTM teams already move at, with the ownership and urgency of a startup culture.
You'll be the first dedicated privacy hire, embedded with product and engineering as we design agentic systems that touch consumer data across dozens of enterprise environments and the person our biggest customers' legal and security teams call when they want to understand how our AI actually handles their data - wherever they're based. You'll also be the generalist backstop for whatever legal question lands on the desk that week.
THE ROLE
You'll work directly with the founding team and across product, engineering, and GTM to build and run Hilbert's privacy program end-to-end - while also owning the product and commercial legal work that comes with selling an agentic AI platform into enterprise accounts.
The environment is high-autonomy and high-ambiguity - new data types, new customer environments, and new AI capabilities show up faster than settled law does.
What you'll do:
Privacy Program
Design, build, and run Hilbert's privacy program - policies, data mapping, retention, and vendor/subprocessor management - from the ground up, covering both US and UK/EU entities and data flows
Advise product and engineering on privacy-by-design for agentic workflows: what data an agent can access, retain, infer, or act on, and how that's documented and defensible under whichever regime applies
Own compliance posture across CCPA/CPRA and the US state privacy patchwork, UK GDPR/DPA 2018, and EU GDPR, and track how state, federal, UK, and EU AI-specific rules are developing
Build and maintain data processing agreements, international data transfer mechanisms (SCCs, UK IDTA/Addendum), and subprocessor frameworks that scale across enterprise customers without a bespoke redline every time
Product & Commercial Counsel
Review and negotiate enterprise customer contracts, DPAs, and security addenda across US and UK/EU counterparties, working closely with sales to keep deals moving without compromising the company's data commitments
Advise product on how new agentic features get built, marketed, and disclosed — including where an AI decision needs a human-in-the-loop checkpoint for legal or trust reasons
Partner with security on incident response, breach notification obligations, and customer-facing security representations across jurisdictions
Be the primary point of contact for enterprise customers' legal, security, and procurement teams when they ask how Hilbert's AI handles their data
WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE
The right person in this role is quick to turn regulatory nuance into a product decision and show up with both engineers and enterprise counterparts.
The profile:
You have 6–7 years of PQE in privacy and product/commercial counsel, ideally split between in-house work at a data-intensive or AI company and enterprise contract negotiation.
You're genuinely fluent across US, UK, and EU privacy law — CCPA/CPRA and the state patchwork, UK GDPR/DPA 2018, and EU GDPR.
You think like a product person, not just a lawyer. You'd rather sit in a design review and shape a data flow before it's built than redline it after.
You've negotiated enterprise DPAs, security addenda, and cross-border transfer mechanisms directly.
You're a genuine generalist, not just a specialist who's willing to help out.
You communicate with clarity and conviction. You can explain a data-retention tradeoff to a founder, hold your ground with an enterprise customer's outside counsel, and walk an engineer through why a feature needs a consent gate — all in the same day.
You take ownership. There's no one to hand this to. If the privacy program has a gap, you close it. If a deal is stuck on a legal term, you find the path through.
You move at startup speed. Deals close fast, product ships fast, and you're available and responsive without needing a legal-ops process to get there.
Location
San Francisco or London, hybrid, with occasional travel for customer engagements and to work with the other office.

Overview
Grocery, QSR & Retail is where Hilbert meets some of its highest-frequency, highest-stakes customers — businesses where a single point of retention or basket size compounds into millions, and where decisions move on a daily rhythm, not a quarterly one. We are building the team that owns this surface, and we are hiring the early operators who will grow inside it.
THE ROLE
You will join the Grocery, QSR & Retail team as an early-career operator working directly under the Head of the vertical. Your work sits at the intersection of customer impact and product evolution: you run Hilbert against real growth problems in grocery, QSR, and retail, and what you learn there feeds back into how the product develops.
This is not a support role. It is a learning-by-doing role with consequence. You will be in the data, in the customer's problem, and in the room when decisions get made. You are expected to bring sharp questions, structured analysis, and a hunger to understand growth at the level of mechanics — not slogans.
Core Responsibilities
Run Hilbert against customer datasets — cohorts, basket dynamics, visit frequency, channel performance — and surface what the product gets right, what it misses, and where its reasoning needs sharpening
Translate findings into structured input for the product and tech teams, in partnership with the Head of the vertical
Support Account Executives in turning Hilbert's outputs into clear growth narratives for customers: win-back, LTV intervention, assortment shifts, paid reallocation
Own pieces of the customer relationship end-to-end as you grow into them — prep, present, follow through, learn from what worked and what didn't
Build deep fluency in the mechanics of grocery, QSR, and retail growth: share of wallet, loyalty economics, promotional lift, the difference between a real cohort effect and a pricing artifact
WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE
This is for people who think differently about problems. You may not have owned a growth function — but you have done something where the outcome mattered, you owned a piece of it, and you can describe what you did with precision.
You have analytical chops you can show: SQL, a notebook, a model, a project where you wrestled with messy data and came out with something real. Artifacts beat credentials.
You are drawn to B2C — to consumer behavior, retention, why people come back, why they don't. Direct exposure to grocery, QSR, retail, CPG, or adjacent industries is a plus, even if brief.
You think in systems and reach for evidence. When asked "why," you do not stop at the first answer. You default to testing, measuring, and updating your priors.
You can describe a project failure with the same precision as a win. Specific matters more than impressive.
You are comfortable working alongside AI systems and curious about where they break — and where human judgment still wins.
You want to learn from operators who have been in the room when real growth decisions got made, and you are willing to be coached hard.
You believe there is something fundamentally broken about how the industry talks about "growth," and you want to be part of rebuilding it.
What you do not need: a perfect resume, a famous logo, or years of title-bearing experience. What you do need: evidence of sharp thinking, ownership instinct, and judgment that does not come from a textbook.
Why join us
At Hilbert, we move fast, work collaboratively, and give people real ownership over their impact. As a fast-growing company, there's no shortage of room to grow — you'll take on new challenges quickly and shape the path as you go.

Overview

Hilbert is a scalable, data science-first growth engine that gives B2C teams predictive clarity into user behavior, revenue drivers, and the actions that drive sustainable growth. Fully agentic by design, Hilbert shrinks months-long decision cycles to minutes.
From Fortune 10 enterprises to beloved brands like FreshDirect, Blank Street, and Levain Bakery, operators run their growth on Hilbert. We're also co-building alongside leading AI companies.
A small, select group of growth operators sit at the core of our company. These minds shape how Hilbert's intelligence layer evolves, how customers grow, and how the company goes to market.
THE ROLE
Your responsibilities look like those of a founding operator embedded simultaneously inside a high-stakes product and commercial organization. You run Hilbert on real problems: you are expected to be its most demanding internal user, finding where the product's reasoning breaks down, challenging its outputs, and feeding that back into the intelligence layer as structured improvement input.
Core Responsibilities
Run Hilbert on fashion industry’s growth problems, identify where its reasoning can do better, and translate those findings into structured input for the intelligence layer in coordination with product and tech teams
Translate hard-won growth experience into the patterns, failure modes, and counter-intuitive signals that shape how the product detects, reasons, and acts on apparel-specific behavior
Work with Account Executives to turn Hilbert's output into concrete growth strategies for key accounts, from seasonal cohort analysis to category cross-sell intervention to paid channel reallocation around collection launches
Follow customer's growth with Hilbert, own the consequences with Hilbert
Represent Hilbert in high-stakes GTM conversations as its most credible voice on what B2C fashion growth actually requires
WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE
This is for people who have tackled a real fashion growth problem and changed outcomes that matter. That may mean building the CRM or retention function from zero at a brand, owning paid acquisition strategy through a major collection cycle, or turning around customer economics at an omni-channel retailer when the conventional playbook was not working. What matters is not the brand name on your resume. What matters is that something moved because of decisions you made, and you can account for it precisely.
You have owned a growth outcome that was genuinely at risk, not a function that was already working: a post-season retention problem, a new-customer payback period that was not closing, a loyalty cohort that was not coming back
You understand the fashion purchase cycle at a structural level: the role of new-season drops, markdown strategy and its downstream effects on LTV, the difference between trend-driven and wardrobe-building customers
You have deep, earned fluency in fashion-specific growth mechanics: category and style propensity, seasonal reactivation, subscription and membership models in fashion, influencer and brand-event driven acquisition against LTV
You think in systems: how acquisition mix shapes retention cohort quality, how discount dependency compounds into a structural LTV problem, how omnichannel data gaps distort what your models see
You believe in measurability to the maximum: you default to testing and learning, to algorithms over human-defined rules, to letting data surface structure rather than imposing it
You are comfortable working alongside AI systems and have strong judgment about where human pattern recognition still wins, especially in a domain where emotional and aesthetic drivers interact with behavioral data
Specific matters more than impressive: the best candidates can describe a fashion growth failure with the same precision as a win
And most importantly: you believe there are fundamental problems with how the fashion industry has thought about customer growth, and you are ready to rebuild it
Why join us
At Hilbert, we move fast, work collaboratively, and give people real ownership over their impact. As a fast-growing company, there's no shortage of room to grow — you'll take on new challenges quickly and shape the path as you go.

Overview
Application
Hilbert is a scalable, data science-first growth infrastructure that gives B2C teams predictive clarity into user behavior, revenue drivers, and the actions that move sustainable growth. Fully agentic by design, Hilbert compresses months-long decision cycles into minutes.
THE ROLE
You will build and run Hilbert’s content engine from the ground up: editorial strategy, video and media programming, sales enablement materials, customer stories, website copy, and the thought leadership that makes Hilbert the most credible voice in the room on B2C growth intelligence.
Core Responsibilities
Brand, Thought Leadership & Organic Presence
Own Hilbert’s editorial voice and brand positioning across all channels. Ensure that everything published under the Hilbert name reflects a clear, earned, and consistent point of view on B2C growth intelligence.
Write and publish original long-form content: essays, frameworks, and category-defining pieces that position Hilbert as the authoritative voice for operators who take B2C growth seriously.
Drive Hilbert’s organic content strategy: identify the topics, formats, and channels where the audience is paying attention, and build a presence that compounds.
Own the LinkedIn presence for both the company page and founder voices — content strategy, publishing cadence, and amplification logic.
Video & Media Programming
Own end-to-end production of Hilbert Space, our videocast series featuring growth leaders. Handle guest pipeline, pre-production research, editorial direction, distribution, and clip strategy.
Build and execute an education video strategy for Hilbertl: explainer content on B2C growth mechanics, product walkthroughs, use case breakdowns, and concepts like cohort economics, LTV modeling, channel attribution, and agentic growth infrastructure.
Sales Enablement & Customer Evidence
Produce the content the sales team needs to close: one-pagers, pitch narratives, competitive positioning documents, objection-handling resources, and tailored collateral for specific verticals or account types.
Build Hilbert’s customer story library: case studies, outcome-driven proof points, and reference materials that translate what Hilbert has done for customers into language that resonates with new prospects.
WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE
This is not an entry-level content role. It is not a role for someone who needs to be trained on what B2B SaaS marketing looks like. It is for someone who has already run this function, or a large piece of it, and knows both what works and what is overrated. The bar is: you have shipped content that changed how an audience thought about a problem, and you can prove it.
You have 5+ years of content and marketing experience at a B2B technology company, with at least part of that time spent in a founding or near-founding content capacity — building from scratch, owning outcomes, not inheriting infrastructure.
You have produced content across the full B2B stack: thought leadership and brand, SEO and organic, sales enablement, video, customer evidence, and website copy. You know how these functions connect and how they break down when no one is holding them together.
You understand B2C growth mechanics well enough to write about them accurately and translate them for an audience of practitioners. Cohort economics, paid acquisition against LTV, retention curves, channel mix, agentic decision-making — you do not need to have run these plays yourself, but you need to be fluent enough to engage with experts and produce content that earns their respect.
You have owned a video or media program end-to-end: not just writing scripts or managing a YouTube channel, but building and running a format that attracted a real audience over time.
You think in systems: content calendars are table stakes. What you care about is the architecture behind them — which formats compound, which audiences you are actually building, what the flywheel looks like at scale.
You are a sharp editor who raises the quality floor for everything that goes out. Vague claims, hollow thought leadership, and content that could have been written by anyone are things you treat as professional failures.
You have worked closely with sales and GTM teams and understand that content is not a function that operates independently of the commercial motion. You have built enablement materials that people on the sales team actually used.
You are comfortable in a fast-moving, small team environment where the scope is real and the feedback loop is short.
ABOUT HILBERT'S AI
Hilbert is a scalable, data science-first growth engine built on four intelligence layers: Detect, Reason, Act, Optimize, running across acquisition, retention, and monetization simultaneously. Overview
The Mission: Architect the Ground Truth
At Hilbert we shorten "months" to "minutes." We build the AI Growth Engine that Fortune 500 enterprises and iconic B2C brands use to navigate their revenue drivers in real-time.
We are expanding our deployment model. Whether we are ingesting data into our high-performance Clickhouse managed warehouse or implementing Warehouse-Native logic directly within a customer’s own data warehouse solution like Snowflake or BigQuery, the goal is the same: providing our AI Agents with a perfect, high-fidelity view of the business. We need a Forward Deployed Data Engineer who can architect these bridges in any environment.
The Hard Problem: Architectural Hybridity & Semantic Clarity
The challenge isn't just moving rows; it’s ensuring "Reasoning Consistency." You are responsible for making sure our AI produces the same high-quality insights regardless of where the data resides.
Our Current Hurdles:
The Dual-Track Challenge: We are building a system that can either pipe data into our ClickHouse stack using Dagster and Airbyte, or execute "Zero-Extract" transformations natively in the customer's warehouse. You’ll need to master both worlds.
The AI Semantic Layer: For customers with custom datasets that don't fit our canonical models, you will build the "Translator." You’ll define the metadata and business logic so our agentic flows can "understand" custom columns without hallucination.
Agent-Assisted Integration: We are building a Data Discovery Agent to automate the "messy" part of your job. You will prompt and partner with this agent to analyze customer data, suggest mapping alternatives, and generate the first version of pipelines automatically, slashing integration time significantly.
Who You Are (The Profile)
The Pragmatic Polyglot: You are equally comfortable optimizing a Clickhouse query as you are writing native Snowpark (Snowflake) or BigQuery SQL and comfortable implementing data orchestration scripts using python..
The Data Ontologist: You understand that an AI needs more than just a table; it needs context. You have the discipline to define the "meaning" behind the data.
The "Translator": You can earn technical trust with a customer's Data Architect in minutes, extracting the logic of custom tables and mapping them to Hilbert reasoning engine.
The "Pilot" Mindset: You are excited to use and improve AI agents that handle the heavy lifting of data discovery and pipeline scaffolding.
What You’ll Own
Hybrid Integration: Own the technical lifecycle of new customers, choosing and implementing the best deployment path (Managed Clickhouse vs. Warehouse-Native).
Accelerated Onboarding: Use Hilbert internal Discovery Agent to create reports and suggest mappings, moving from raw data to a working v1 pipeline in record time.
AI Semantic Layer Construction: Architect the semantic definitions for custom enterprise data, ensuring our agentic conversation engine has the "Ground Truth" for every query.
Canonical Modeling: Transform diverse source data into Hilbert unified growth models to power our generic ML systems.
Enterprise Deployment: Act as the lead technical resource for high-stakes enterprise implementations, ensuring our stack is "packaged" and performant in their specific infra.
Bonus Points
Deep experience with dbt for warehouse-native modeling.
Having worked with more than one state of the art data warehouse solutions and knowing the optimization strategies.
Experience with Semantic Layer frameworks (Cube, MetricQL, etc.).
Background in E-commerce/Retail (understanding Revenue Metrics, Order lifecycle, LTV, CAC, and Attribution etc.).
Having built an agentic workflow before.
Location
San Francisco, with occasional travel for team meets, off-sites or customer engagements.

Overview
We're looking for hungry, early-career sellers and builders to join Hilbert AI as GTM Launchers — the people who plant flags in new markets and turn zero into revenue.
Here's the deal: you'll start in San Francisco — the epicenter of AI and where we're building the company — spend your first ~3 months in deep discovery alongside the founding team, and then deploy internationally to launch and own a market. If you've ever wanted to build something from scratch in a new country with real ownership and real stakes, this is that role.
THE ROLE
Phase 1 — Discovery in San Francisco (~3 months) Immerse yourself in the product, the AI stack, and how enterprise deals get done at Hilbert — from the center of gravity of the AI world. Work directly with the founding team. Learn the buyer, learn the value prop, build pipeline, close your first deals alongside senior leaders. By the end of this phase you understand the playbook deeply enough to rebuild it somewhere new.
Phase 2 — International market launch (6-12 months) Deploy to an international market and own it end-to-end: pipeline generation, first enterprise closes, local partnerships, market intelligence. You are Hilbert in that market. Report directly to the founding team. Your job is to prove the market, build the foundation, and set up what comes next.
What you'll do:
Generate and own enterprise pipeline from scratch — no inbound safety net, no BDR team
Close strategic accounts in your assigned market with support from the founding team
Map the competitive landscape, buyer personas, and local dynamics of your market
Build relationships with enterprise decision-makers and strategic partners on the ground
Feed market signal back to HQ — what's working, what's different, where the opportunity is
Lay the groundwork for a permanent regional presence
WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE
You don't need 10 years of enterprise sales experience. You need to be relentless, resourceful, and ready to build.
The profile:
You're a hunter. You find deals where others see nothing. Rejection fuels you, not stops you
You communicate clearly and persuasively — in person, on calls, in writing. You can hold a room with senior executives
You're a problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity. No playbook? Good — you'll write one
You're adaptable and globally minded. Living abroad for 6-12 months to launch a market excites you, not scares you
You have grit that comes from building — you've started something, shipped something, or bet on yourself before
You might be a top-performing SDR or junior AE ready to leap. An ex-founder between ventures. A management consultant who wants to own outcomes instead of decks. A recent MBA who'd rather sell than strategize. Someone from growth, product, or ops who realized they love closing. What matters: you're hungry, you learn fast, and you don't wait for permission.
Bonus: Languages beyond English. Experience living or working internationally. Exposure to retail, e-commerce, CPG, or data platforms.
Location
San Francisco for the first ~3 months — discovery, ramp, and building alongside the founding team at the center of the AI ecosystem. Then international deployment to launch a market. Expect relocation and travel as part of the role — this is a feature, not a bug.
