ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
About the Team
Our post-sale team owns the full customer relationship for commercial customers driving adoption, retention, and expansion. Account managers on this team act as trusted commercial advisors, helping customers realize the full value of LangChain while protecting and growing revenue through renewals and expansion. The team works closely with Product, Engineering, and RevOps to deliver a seamless customer journey.
About the Role
We're hiring a Manager to lead and scale our Commercial Account Management team. You'll be responsible for the performance of the team as a whole, coaching individual account managers, setting the strategy and cadence for how the team manages renewals and expansion, and owning the portfolio-level retention and net revenue retention numbers that result. This is a player-coach role early on: you'll need to be able to step into a deal or a customer relationship directly when it matters, while building the systems and talent that let the team scale.
What You'll Do
- Hire, coach, and develop a team of commercial account managers, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback on pipeline management, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Own the team's rolling forecast and consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual retention and expansion targets across the portfolio
- Build and refine the playbooks, processes, and tools the team uses to manage the customer lifecycle, from onboarding through renewal and expansion
- Review portfolio health regularly with your team, helping them identify churn risk early and prioritize the right accounts and interventions
- Get directly involved in complex or high-stakes renewals and expansion conversations, including commercial negotiation and deal structuring, when your experience can move a deal forward
- Build scaled account management practices to provide the team leverage and focus their energy on building a stronger customer relationship
- Partner with Deployed Engineers, RevOps, and Product to align on a unified post-sale strategy and to represent the voice of the customer in product evolution
- Set and track the metrics that matter for the team: retention, NRR, forecast accuracy, pipeline coverage, and report on team performance to leadership
- Support your team through quoting, procurement, and contract processes, and help resolve escalations that require additional commercial or organizational leverage
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of experience in a quota-carrying, customer-facing role such as Account Management, Customer Success, or Renewals Management, preferably within B2B SaaS
- 2+ years of experience directly managing or leading a team of account managers, customer success managers, or similar quota-carrying reps
- A proven track record of hitting team-level retention and expansion targets (e.g., Gross Renewal Rate, Net Revenue Retention), not just individual quota
- Strong coaching instincts, you can diagnose what's holding a rep back in a negotiation or renewal cycle and help them improve
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder renewal and expansion cycles
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and articulate the value of complex technical products; familiarity with the modern AI/LLM stack is a significant plus
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to represent the team's priorities to cross-functional leadership and to build rapport with customer executives directly when needed
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for forecasting and pipeline oversight
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Nice to Have's
- Direct experience at a high-growth, developer-first, or AI/ML infrastructure company
- Experience managing a team through a consumption or usage-based pricing model
- Experience building an account management function from an early or immature stage, writing the first version of the playbook, not just inheriting one

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Deployed Engineering team works directly with companies building and running AI agents in production, helping turn ideas and prototypes into systems teams can rely on.
This is a hands-on, highly technical team that partners closely with customer engineers across the full lifecycle, from pre-sales evaluations to post-deployment advisory work. The focus is on achieving the technical win, co-designing agent architectures, and helping customers operate agents reliably at scale using the LangChain suite.
Deployed Engineers sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market, shaping how LangChain is adopted in the field and feeding real-world insights back into the platform.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Deployed Engineer…You’ll work on some of the hardest problems in applied AI — not demos, not research, but systems that real teams depend on in production. The feedback loop is fast, the impact is visible, and the work you do directly shapes how AI agents are built in the real world.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams
- Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs, answering deep technical questions, and guiding evaluations
- Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications such as conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows
- Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap-level decisions
- Run technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences
- Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns, cookbooks, and example code that scale across customers
- Occasionally contribute code upstream when it meaningfully improves customer outcomes
- Travel to customers up to 40% of the time
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 6+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, founding/product engineering), ideally in a startup or scale-up
- Strong Python, JavaScript and systems fundamentals
- Have designed agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure handling
- Are comfortable working directly with customers during POCs, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations
- Can explain technical tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developer audiences
- Take responsibility for outcomes, not just recommendations
- Have a bias toward action and enjoy figuring things out as you go
- Are excited about operating AI agents in production, not just building demos
NICE TO HAVE’S
- You’ve deployed AI agents in production, especially using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Worked with LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails
- Have experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Have shipped and operated production software and are comfortable owning systems under real-world constraints

ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Hiring in San Francisco
We're looking for a Commercial Sales Director to lead and grow our commercial sales motion across the Eastern region. You'll build and develop a team of stellar account executives, and help the most ambitious engineering teams discover, evaluate, and adopt LangChain's products. This is a high-ownership role at a company where the sales motion is genuinely technical — our buyers are engineers and AI/ML teams, and the best person in this seat will earn their trust.
If you want real ownership over a region, a product that's solving a problem developers care deeply about, and the opportunity to work in a high-impact environment, we'd love to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own regional sales strategy: territory planning, pipeline health, deal execution across new and existing accounts
- Hire, develop, and retain high-performing AEs and build the kind of culture where great people want to stay
- Run reliable operating cadence: forecasting, pipeline inspection, deal reviews, and field execution
- Translate what you're hearing in the field (from buyers, partners, deals won, deals lost) into concrete input on product, pricing, and packaging
- Partner with Marketing, Sales Development, Deployed Engineers, Sales Operations, and Legal to run coordinated go-to-market motions
- Work with field marketing on in-person activities: executive dinners, regional events, on-site meetings that move deals forward and deepen relationships
- Build relationships with technical buyers (engineering leads, AI/ML teams, platform teams, CPOs, CTOs) as well as economic buyers (VPs, C-suite)
- Spot market opportunities early and move on them immediately.
HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- 7+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years managing a team
- Consistent track record selling into the corporate, commercial, SMB, Mid-market, and Small-Enterprise segment.
- Comfortable selling into technical audiences — you don't need to write code, but you need to understand what developers care about and earn their trust
- Experience selling platforms, professional services, and broader organizational transformations, including work with SIs
- Clear, direct communicator. Equally effective with a technical buyers and executives.
On Target Earnings -$300,000 to $350,000 + Equity

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Product Designer to help shape the experience for the developers and teams who build on LangChain. You'll work across our core product surfaces, and depending on where the need is greatest, that could include how developers get from first signup to real production usage, as well as deeper platform workflows like debugging, evaluation, and observability.
The common thread is developers doing technical, often high-stakes work, and needing an interface that gets out of their way. You'll partner with engineering, product, and other designers to figure out where the friction is and design your way out of it.
*This position will be onsite in either New York, NY or San Francisco, CA
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build a deep understanding of how developers actually use LangChain's products through interviews and feedback sessions so your design decisions are grounded in real behavior and address user needs

- Work across a range of product areas and design initiatives as priorities shift
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering and other key stakeholders to ship new features quickly
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 3+ years of fullstack product design experience ideally working on developer tools, AI, or complex SaaS products
- Sharp eye for detail, with a strong foundation across user-centered design, interaction design, and visual craft
- A track record of solving hard interaction design problems, particularly around dense technical data
- Data-driven decision making - you are comfortable driving user research, both with internal stakeholders and external customers, and using what you learn to inform your designs
- You take initiative and ownership of tasks end-to-end
- Strong technical acumen - you collaborate effectively with engineers to design things that are both well-crafted and feasible

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE & REAL ESTATE TEAM
The Workplace & Real Estate team builds the places where LangChain builds the future of AI agents. We want every office to be somewhere people enjoy showing up to, spaces that run smoothly and feel good to be in. We think of the workplace as something worth designing thoughtfully and improving over time. We're a small, high-agency team with an on-site point person in each hub, and we try to automate the manual work rather than just adding more of it, across our SF and NY hubs plus co-working spokes as we grow.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Office Manager helps run our SF HQ day to day, both the on-the-ground experience and the systems that support it. SF is our largest hub and headquarters, we're moved into a new space, and we regularly host meet-ups, company and team onsites. You'll open and reset the space each morning and be a friendly, steady presence through the day and over time you'll contribute to the tooling, standards, and vendor relationships that keep things running well as we scale. It's a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking care of a space and building the systems behind it.
Location: This role is based on-site in our San Francisco (HQ) office, five days a week.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
TAKE CARE OF THE SPACE
- Open and reset the space each morning so it's clean, stocked, and welcoming before people arrive
- Keep the space organized, tidy, and well-stocked, a space the team can feel good about
- Do a regular walkthrough to catch small things before they become bigger ones
BE A FRIENDLY PRESENCE IN THE OFFICE
- Be a visible, welcoming presence during business hours, greet guests, help new hires and visitors get oriented, and be someone people can turn to
- Help plan and run local in-office events, team moments, and offsites hosted at HQ
SUPPORT OPERATIONS, VENDORS & BUDGET
- Coordinate facilities, supplies, snacks, and equipment; build relationships with on-site vendors (cleaning, food, maintenance); serve as a point of contact for building management and repairs
- Keep vendor programs consistent
- Support budget tracking for the office; track cost-per-seat and utilization alongside Finance
CONTRIBUTE TO SYSTEMS & STANDARDS
- Manage the workplace ticket queue in Console and contribute to a shared SLA framework
- Partner with IT to roll out and maintain the workplace tech stack - desk booking, room scheduling, visitor management, mailroom/deliveries
- Build and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and trackers; contribute to shared standards across sites
- Support space planning and moves for the office
- Take part in running life-safety practices (emergency action plan, evacuation, first aid/AED, drills) as part of the company-wide program
- Look for ways to make repetitive work - tickets, vendor comms, inventory, invoice/billing reconciliation
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
HARD SKILLS
- 2–4 years in office/workplace management, facilities, or workplace operations, ideally in a fast-growing company
- Organized and comfortable keeping plans, budgets, and status visible and up to date
- Experience with workplace systems (ticketing, desk/room booking, visitor management) or vendor programs
SOFT SKILLS
- Hospitality mindset - you enjoy making colleagues and guests feel welcome (a hotel or hospitality background is a plus, not a requirement)
- Ownership - you like taking care of things without being asked, and enjoy improving the systems around you
- Attention to detail - you take pride in a clean, well-run space
- Reliability - comfortable with a consistent, on-site, 5-day presence
- Run to the roar - steady and proactive, you move toward problems instead of away from them when something breaks
NICE TO HAVE
- Hospitality background (hotels, premium service)
- Experience supporting office moves or buildouts
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or similar tools
- Comfortable using AI tools to work more efficiently

Marketing Operations Team
We're a lean, high-output marketing team, and as we scale we're looking for someone to architect the engine that runs our tools.
You'll own our marketing tech stack end to end: the roadmap, the integrations, the best practices, and you'll be the closest operational partner our campaigns team has, turning every campaign brief into a clean, well-instrumented launch. And because we believe the next big unlock in marketing ops is AI, this role is explicitly AI-forward: we want someone who builds with AI tools daily.
This role is built for those who get satisfaction from a campaign that launches without a hitch, a data flow with zero gaps, and finding the one workflow that saves the team ten hours a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Marketing Tech Stack: Take full ownership of our marketing technology stack: CRM, marketing automation, ad platforms, analytics, and everything in between. Set and maintain the tech stack roadmap, decide what to add, consolidate, or retire, and make sure every tool earns its place.
- Set the Standard for Best Practices: Establish how the stack should be governed (data hygiene, permissions, naming conventions, integration patterns) and make sure the rest of the team follows it. You're the internal authority on how our systems connect and where data should live.
- Run End-to-End Campaign Operations: Own the operational backbone of every campaign, from setup through QA, launch, and post-launch reporting. Be the go-to technical partner for the campaigns team, translating what they want to launch into system configurations, automations, and integrations that actually work.
- Own Tracking, Paid Ads & Tag Management: Manage our tracking infrastructure end to end, including Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and pixel/tag implementation across paid ad platforms. Make sure every campaign is properly instrumented before it launches, and that attribution and reporting are accurate and trustworthy.
- Keep Everything Flowing: Ensure clean, reliable data and audience flow across the full stack, from paid media platforms through marketing automation, CRM, and reporting, so nothing breaks and nothing gets lost at the handoffs.
- Build with AI, Don't Just Use It: Actively evaluate and deploy AI-powered tools and workflows (automations, agents, AI-assisted campaign tooling) to eliminate manual work and unlock the next level of operational efficiency. Bring these recommendations to us proactively.
- Grow Into Strategic Initiatives: As you establish the operational foundation, take on leadership of key initiatives in account-based marketing (ABM) and product-led growth (PLG), building the systems, signals, and workflows (e.g., intent data, product usage triggers, lifecycle automation) that power both motions.
Preferred experience & skills
- Technical Depth: 8-10 years in marketing operations or marketing technology, with hands-on experience administering marketing automation platforms, customer development platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Segment, Zapier), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) & ad platforms.
- Systems Thinking: Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, and data flow across a marketing stack, including native integrations, middleware (Zapier), or custom-built connections.
- Campaign Fluency: A proven track record owning end-to-end campaign operations in a fast-moving environment, and real comfort partnering closely with campaign teams without needing formal authority over them.
- An AI-Builder Mindset: You have concrete examples of automations or internal tools you've created using LLMs or workflow platforms.
- A Bias for the Weeds: You're comfortable getting hands-on, building workflows, debugging integrations, and writing a query or a script when it's faster than asking someone else to.
- Self-Direction: You find problems before they're assigned to you and build the fix before anyone asks.
Nice to Have:
- Background in paid media operations or ad tech integrations
- Experience running AI enablement for a non-technical team
If this role excites you but you don't check every box, we'd still love to hear from you; the right experience matters more than a perfect match on paper.

Our team laid the foundation for IT at LangChain, and this role is critical to helping us mature and scale that foundation as the company grows. You'll bring deep technical expertise to our fleet management and SaaS administration, with room to shape how we manage our fleet, identity, SaaS stack, and the automation that runs the business. The ideal candidate brings startup experience, thrives in ambiguity, loves a good problem, and is excited to build scalable systems that support our global team.

- Own our approach to custom security controls and application deployment across the fleet, so updates and configuration changes are consistent and easy to roll out at scale
- Build the fleet management systems now so they hold up as headcount, and the fleet, keep growing
Security & Identity Management
- Drive our identity strategy, implementing secure, scalable access controls following the principle of least privilege
- Identify and implement security enhancements across our SaaS stack
- Partner with our Security team to drive improvement of our enterprise security posture
SaaS Administration
- Administer and optimize our growing SaaS stack, managing provisioning, access controls, and lifecycle management
- Become IT's central administrator for LangSmith, our own product, developing deep fluency in its administration surface
- Build automated workflows for LangSmith administration using its API paired with our automation tooling, reducing manual, toil-heavy admin work
- Help IT stay fluent across the internal tools we run and support, including the LLM Gateway. Another LangChain product.
Core IT Operations
- Provide support to employees globally across hardware, software, networking, and IT tools
- Deliver great onboarding experiences for new hires, ensuring they have the right hardware, access, and setup so they can be productive from day one
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience in IT engineering and systems administration
- Deep proficiency with Okta and Okta Workflows
- Fluency in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, JavaScript, or similar) with demonstrated ability to write production-quality scripts and automation

- Demonstrated ability to build meaningful automations that reduce manual work and improve IT operations
- Hands-on experience with IaC using Terraform to manage and provision IT infrastructure and applications, and comfort applying changes within an existing Terraform codebase
- Experience using coding agents (e.g. Claude Code) as part of your day-to-day engineering workflow to build and ship automation faster
- Strong experience with a modern tech stack that includes Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Claude, ChatGPT
- Solid understanding of MDM platforms, and ideally experience going beyond baseline MDM with fleet/configuration management tooling to manage a fleet's security and application needs
