Job Introduction:
Liberty Mutual’s Global Cybersecurity organization is looking for a Scrum Master II candidate to join our Delivery Enablement & Business Operations team. You will play a critical role in shaping the way teams deliver solutions to protect Liberty Mutual. The Scrum Master coaches, mentors, and teams to help them improve and deliver their best work. Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our service delivery practice, helping realize our vision to continuously improve the way we work.
In this position, the qualified candidate will operate as a team Scrum Master for multiple teams within the Identity Access Management (IAM) domain in GCS’s Scaled Agile environment. In the IAM domain, delivery excellence directly impacts Liberty Mutual’s daily operations. In this role, the Scrum Master’s success enables IAM services that directly impact every Liberty employee through secure, timely system access that is required to perform essential daily operations.
About the job:
- Facilitate stand-up meetings, planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure full team engagement with a focus on growing the capabilities by all team members.
- Actively map and manage cross-team dependencies across workstreams where outputs of one team directly feed the delivery commitments of another.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and People Leaders to support short and long-term planning and assist in keeping the work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
- Shield the teams from interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.
- Collaborate with teams to discover their needs; plan and deliver instruction and coaching on growth mindset and maturing current Agile adoption while ensuring alignment with the organizational strategy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.
- Minimum 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
- Experience fostering agile maturity within teams, including skillfully navigating the complexities and dynamics that often arise during transformation.
- Prior exposure or a working knowledge of cybersecurity identity and access operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge & experience working in Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban models.
- Solid knowledge and experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and Agile project management concepts, practices, and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt Agile principles to fit the unique needs of each team and project, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and business objectives.
- Display strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
- Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Jira for backlog management, workflow configuration, and delivery reporting; experience establishing or improving Jira hygiene within teams is a plus.
- Solid project and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.

- Technical background managing a large-scale platform that is consumed by multiple business units across a highly regulated enterprise.
- Hands-on experience managing cloud native infrastructure-based operations and infrastructure as code, devops, CICD based solutions.
- Able to manage complex technology development concepts, capabilities and maturity.
- Requires excellent analytical ability, consultative communication, presentation and management skills, strong judgment and ability to effectively liaise with cross functional stakeholders and optimize teams.
- Demonstrated ability to operate collaboratively and build consensus. In-depth knowledge of technology standards and guidelines; knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques; thorough knowledge of business functions and operations, objectives and strategies.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with managed Kubernetes services such as Amazon EKS and/or on-premises distributions.
- Practical familiarity with AI-assisted engineering and understanding of where AI adds value and where human accountability remains. Expertise with a specific AI product is not required.

Analyst roles within the team range from leaning more heavily into research to inform our product design, to directly interfacing with regulators and Profit & Loss owners. Our analysts make an impact by improving model fits, researching new modeling techniques, increasing the speed of model deployments, improving capabilities to test, calibrate, and monitor models, and serving as technical experts to explain our models to the broader Property & Specialty organization. Responsibilities:
- Assist on design of designing pricing programs deployment pipeline from modelling to product launch in coordination with the Deployments team
- Applies knowledge of sophisticated analytics techniques to manipulate large structured and unstructured data sets in order to generate insights to inform business decisions.
- Identifies and tests hypotheses, ensuring statistical significance, as part of building and developing predictive models for business application.
- Translates quantitative analyses and findings into accessible visuals for non-technical audiences, providing a clear view into interpreting the data.
- Enables the business to make clear trade-offs between and among choices, with a reasonable view into likely outcomes.
- Customizes analytic solutions to specific stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist on design of designing pricing programs deployment pipeline from modelling to product launch in coordination with the Deployments team
