Account Executive - Chicago (Remote)
🚀 We’re on a mission to make real estate transactions smarter, faster, and friction-free.
🏢 Real estate is the world’s largest asset class, yet the legal processes and tools behind it remain slow, manual, and underinvested. Lawyers must review dense documents line by line and piece together information across silos, all while clients demand faster, more transparent due diligence.
🤖 That's where we come in. Orbital Copilot is the AI assistant built exclusively for commercial real estate law. Developed with former practicing real estate lawyers, it accelerates complex due diligence by up to 70% while delivering legal-grade precision.
💰 We’ve just raised a $60m Series B to accelerate our UK/US expansion.
🤝 We're trusted by leading firms like Goodwin and BCLP to remove the busywork so legal teams can focus on what they do best: applying sharp legal judgment, delivering standout client service, and getting deals over the line faster.
💡 Working at Orbital means joining a team that's reimagining how real estate transactions get done - moving fast, working collaboratively, and giving people the ownership to make a real impact from day one.
The Role
We are looking for a Chicago-based Account Executive to join our founding remote sales team. This is a role for someone who thrives on selling complex, high-value SaaS solutions, building relationships with sophisticated buyers, and helping shape how we go to market in a new city.
This role reports directly to our Sales Manager and works closely with our Legal Solutions team, Marketing, and Sales Enablement. This is a critical early hire and a genuine opportunity to shape our Chicago presence and contribute to Orbital's US expansion post-Series B.
What You'll Do
Pipeline and Prospecting
Own and build your pipeline through a combination of self-sourced outbound and inbound leads
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the legal and commercial real estate sectors
Partner with Marketing on ABM campaigns and targeted outreach to law firms and in-house legal teams
Sales Execution
Run a disciplined, process-driven sales cycle from first contact through to close
Conduct high-quality discovery calls to uncover business pain, quantify impact, and build compelling business cases
Deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to the specific workflows of real estate legal teams
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving attorneys, IT, and senior leadership
Manage deal progression and pipeline hygiene in HubSpot using MEDDPICC (or equivalent qualification framework)
Collaboration
Partner with Legal Solutions Architects on pre-sales support and technical scoping
Collaborate with the Sales Manager on pipeline reviews, forecast accuracy, and deal strategy
Provide field feedback to Product and Marketing on customer needs, objections, and competitive dynamics
Help shape our go-to-market approach and playbook as one of our founding Chicago hires
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
2-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota
Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Strong discovery and qualification skills: able to diagnose pain, build business cases, and advance deals with discipline
Proactive pipeline builder: you generate your own pipeline and don't rely on inbound alone
Clear, confident communicator: in person, on the phone, and in writing
Comfortable operating in a high-growth, scaling environment where process is still being built
Based in or willing to relocate to Chicago (this is a fully remote role)
Demonstrated ability to learn and credibly articulate complex or technical subject matter: our AEs sell into the legal and real estate market, and must understand the domain well enough to run sharp discovery and handle objections
Nice-to-Haves
Experience selling into legal, real estate, or regulated industries
Familiarity with AI or technology products
Exposure to MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or similar qualification frameworks
Experience at a Series A-C SaaS company

Senior legal Counsel
The Role
Orbital has been scaling fast, and our legal function needs to keep up. We currently work with external legal counsel across UK and US matters, and we're now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to bring on in a FTE capacity, to own our legal function now, and shape how it looks in the future as we grow — bringing structure, strategy, and sharp judgment to everything from commercial contracts to IP protection.
This isn't a fractional legal reviewer or an external-style adviser. It's an embedded business partner — someone who sits alongside product, commercial, and leadership teams to give legal a seat at the table before decisions are made, not after. You'll own what Orbital commits to customers, what the company needs to protect itself against, and how legal shows up when the business is moving fast.
You'll be critical to transforming our legal function from a reactive resource into a proactive partner, by deeply understanding the business and building the processes, playbooks and team required to function in an optimal way for our success.
You’ll report into our Head of Operations, who currently coordinates our external legal counsel and will work closely with you on legal operations, process, and resourcing as you embed into the business.
Ideally, you will be based in NYC and happy to spend a few days a week in office with us to feel fully embedded in the business.
What You'll Own
Operational Legal Counsel
The embedded legal support you provide will keep the business moving forwards.
You will:
Partner with the global sales teams as they negotiate commercial contracts (standard contracts for our products, NDAs, DPAs)- you will be the legal partner to them, ensuring we secure customers quickly, fairly and in a sustainable way.
Partner with individuals and teams across the business around vendor contracts - ensuring contracts are reviewed with a legal lens and teams understand what they are signing up for when bringing on new vendors.
Field legal questions from across the business- knowing when you can advise directly, and when external specialist legal advice is required. These will include queries from the People team (eg. HR and employment law), the Finance team (eg. stock option schemes, cap table management etc), the InfoSec team (eg. data protection).
Strategic Legal Counsel
The forward-looking work that protects where Orbital is going, not just where it is.
You will:
Build a proactive partnership with product — understanding the roadmap so legal risks are surfaced before features ship, pricing models change, or new suppliers come on board, not after.
Anticipate where the business is heading — understanding Orbital's growth goals well enough to spot the legal risks and gaps on the horizon and get ahead of them before they become problems.
Lead significant legal change projects — terms revamps, new commercial frameworks, major product or supplier transitions — work that touches multiple teams and needs a legal owner who can drive it end-to-end, not just advise on it.
Legal Function Building
We want legal to be a function the business reaches for proactively. A big part of this role is building the infrastructure to make that possible.
You will:
Train the wider team on where legal starts and ends, to contain escalations and ensure they are targeted and appropriate
Build a trusted and valued function, embedded across leadership of the business
Partner with Operations to ensure the legal function is operating efficiently, using AI and technology to scale with the company.
Resource planning for the future team we might need and management of any external counsel required as extra support.
What We're Looking For
Prior in-house legal experience at a scaling SaaS company is essential. Law firm experience alone is not sufficient — we need someone who has operated inside a fast-moving business and understands what that demands.
You know the difference between what matters and what doesn't. In-house legal at a scale-up requires pragmatism: picking your battles, moving at commercial pace, and being genuinely helpful rather than a blocker.
You've been the person in the room who makes things move, not slow them down — pragmatic, commercially minded, and easy to work with.
A background in both private practice and in-house is common in this role, but the in-house experience is what we'll weigh most heavily.
Why This Might Not Be For You
You prefer advising from a distance. This role is genuinely embedded - you’ll be proactively in the room with product, commercial and leadership, shaping decisions before they’re made, not after.
You’re most comfortable with a clearly defined scope and existing playbooks. We need someone who sees what needs doing, decides what warrants legal input and moves the function forward without waiting to be asked.
Why Join Orbital
Shape the legal function - the playbook, the process, the infrastructure are yours to design
Real strategic influence: you'll be at the table on IP, HR, pricing models, and commercial terms — not just executing others' decisions
Genuine momentum: $60m Series B, doubling headcount, expanding across two continents
Work alongside a fast-moving leadership team that values legal as a business enabler, not just a risk function

GTM Talent Acquisition Manager - New York
🚀 We’re on a mission to make real estate transactions smarter, faster, and friction-free.
🏢 Real estate is the world’s largest asset class, yet the legal processes and tools behind it remain slow, manual, and underinvested. Lawyers must review dense documents line by line and piece together information across silos, all while clients demand faster, more transparent due diligence.

💡 Working at Orbital means joining a team that's reimagining how real estate transactions get done - moving fast, working collaboratively, and giving people the ownership to make a real impact from day one.
The Role
We're hiring a GTM Talent Acquisition Manager to own end-to-end hiring across our go-to-market functions in New York. You'll work directly with the CRO and wider GTM leadership to bring in the account executives, sales managers and business development talent that will drive Orbital's US growth.
This is a high-bar role. Our standard for GTM talent is exceptionally high, and you'll need to be exceptional at finding people who aren't looking, not just managing the inbound. If headhunting is something you do when the pipeline dries up, this isn't the role for you. If it's your default mode, read on.
You'll be based in our New York office two days a week and embedded as a true partner to the business, not a process admin.
You will be expected to complete 3 high quality hires a month to help us to double our headcount this year from 120-250.
What You'll Do
🎯 Own full-cycle GTM recruiting — from kick-off through offer — across sales, business development, marketing, and customer success
🔍 Lead proactive headhunting campaigns using AI tools, company mapping, and sourcing platforms to identify and engage the best passive talent in the market. We know the best talent may not be looking and it’s your job to entice them to.
🤝 Partner closely with the CRO and GTM hiring managers to deeply understand the business, calibrate on talent bar, and move at pace
📊 Build and maintain structured hiring processes in Ashby, pipelines, scorecards, reporting keeping everything clean, consistent, and visible
🧠 Use data and market intelligence to advise on role positioning, compensation benchmarking, and talent availability
📋 Manage and optimise candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Orbital's brand and standards
What We're Looking For
🏢 Proven in-house recruiting experience at a high-growth tech scale-up, this is non-negotiable. Agency-only backgrounds won't be considered
🎯 Demonstrable track record hiring GTM roles: AEs, Sales Managers, BDRs, Marketing, and Customer Success.
🔎 Elite headhunting ability — you know how to map a market, build a target list, craft a compelling approach, and convert passive candidates who weren't planning to move
🤖 Fluent in using AI tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox, WTTJ to identify and engage top talent — not just post-and-pray
📐 Process-oriented with strong attention to detail — you set up structure, maintain data integrity, and hold the hiring process together under pressure.
⚡ Ability to work at genuine pace without compromising on quality — Orbital moves fast, and so will you
🛠️ Ashby experience strongly preferred
🌟 Agency experience is a plus, but must be complemented by substantial in-house scale-up experience
Benefits 🌟
Compensation: We offer a competitive starting salary in the range of $150,000 -$185,000, depending on experience. We share salary ranges upfront to build trust, reduce bias, and support an inclusive process, even as we continue developing our internal pay structures.
We believe in flexibility, but we're also big on in-person collaboration. This role is based in our New York office with minimum two days a week, with additional time in as needed for things like all-hands, interviews, or team sessions. It's about being present when it matters, and balancing autonomy with impact.
401k match and equity options in a fast-growing start-up.
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
Rest and Recharge: 20 days paid holiday (plus public holidays), so you can rest, recharge, and take care of what matters most to you.
Generous parental leave policy designed to support all parents and caregivers in balancing family and work life, in addition to any state-mandated paid family leave entitlements.
Professional equipment and personal development budget along with training opportunities to learn and develop your skills.
Pre-tax commuter benefits to help you get to and from the office.
We're in the process of building an inclusive, welcoming culture where everyone feels seen and valued. Expect regular team off-sites, shared lunches, and social events, with something for everyone.
🔒 Security is everyone’s responsibility at Orbital. We ask all team members to follow our security policies, complete regular awareness training, and handle sensitive data with care in line with ISO 27001 standards. Spot something unusual? 💡 Working at Orbital means joining a team that's reimagining how real estate transactions get done - moving fast, working collaboratively, and giving people the ownership to make a real impact from day one.
The Role
We are looking for a Los Angeles-based Founding West Coast Sales Manager to build and lead our Account Executive team. This is a role for someone who thrives on building from scratch: hiring the right people, establishing a strong sales culture, and raising the bar on execution from the ground up.
This is not a role where you inherit a playbook. You'll help write it.
This role reports directly to our Sales Director, working closely with RevOps, Sales Enablement, and Marketing, as well as our NYC Sales Manager as we scale our US presence.
This is a critical founding hire. This person will be central to establishing Orbital's West Coast presence and shaping how we sell as we scale post-Series B.
What You'll Do
Hiring and Team Building (Primary focus, especially in the first 6 months)
Lead the hiring of Orbital's West Coast Account Executives, from sourcing through offer.
Own the AE interview process: structured assessments, scorecards, and unbiased debriefs.
Partner with Talent to build a rigorous, repeatable hiring process that sets a high bar and leads to strong outcomes.
Contribute to onboarding design for new LA AEs in partnership with Sales Enablement.
-
Build a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement from day one.
Team Leadership and Coaching
Directly manage and develop your growing team of Account Executives.
Run structured 1:1s, pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and forecasting cadences.
Diagnose performance gaps and deliver targeted coaching on discovery, demos, objection handling, BAMFAM, and deal progression (including MEDDPICC).
-
Improve AE ramp time and first-year quota attainment through hands-on coaching and structured development plans.
Sales Execution and Process
Own pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy for your team (using MEDDPICC).
Drive consistent execution of our sales process from qualification through close.
Ensure CRM (HubSpot) discipline: deal stages, qualification criteria, and activity standards.
Partner with RevOps on pipeline coverage, deal health metrics, and forecast inputs.
-
Identify and address choke points in the sales cycle (currently averaging ~42 days).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Sales Enablement on training priorities, skill gaps, and enablement content.
Collaborate with Marketing on ABM campaigns, messaging, and pipeline generation.
Partner with the Legal Solutions team on deal support, pre-sales motions, and complex deal strategy.
Provide field feedback to Product on customer needs, objections, and competitive dynamics.
Coordinate with the NYC Sales Manager to share learnings and maintain consistency in how we sell nationally.

Proven experience managing a team of Enterprise B2B SaaS AEs (3+ years in a management role).
Track record of building or significantly scaling a sales team, ideally from a founding or greenfield position.
Consistent record of meeting or exceeding team quota.

Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
Familiarity with AI/technology products.
Experience scaling a sales team through a Series B or similar growth phase.

People Enablement Partner
Orbital is scaling fast as we build the AI technologies powering the future of enterprise productivity. To support this growth, we're hiring an experienced and forward-thinking People Enablement Partner to design, drive, and deliver how we support and retain world-class talent at Orbital. This is a mid to senior role with both strategic and hands-on ownership to design People Products, influence direction, and shape how our managers and teams operate at scale.
The job, in a nutshell
You'll be one of the first hires in our US People function. You'll report initially to our People Director (based in London), and then to our New York-based VP of People once that role is in place later in our US expansion. As a foundational US People team hire, you'll have real influence over how this function (and your role within it) evolves. We're building a modern People team leaning into an 'Employee Experience as a Product' methodology: designing scalable solutions that support individual growth and business success, not just reactive fixes.
Our operating model is built on three main layers: Partner, Product and Platform.
Partner: The layer closest to the people leading teams. It works closely with them, understands the work they do, and helps them lead with confidence and consistency.
Product: The layer that shapes how the organisation works. It designs the frameworks and experiences people use, and improves them as the company grows.
Platform: The operating layer the whole function runs on. It keeps the systems and data underneath effective, integrated, automated and built to scale.
These aren't separate sub-teams or job titles; they describe the type of work involved, and act as a flywheel, each layer feeding the other two;
This role sits equally across Partner and Product layers. In practice, this means that you'll partner with managers to surface insights, then own the design and implementation of people solutions from start to finish. Your Partnering focus will primarily be our go-to-market teams, which are mostly US-based with some overlap into the UK. Product layer, on the other hand, is designed to work company-wide: you'll partner closely with our UK-based People Enablement Partner and People Director so what we build lands consistently across teams and regions.
What you'll do
Partner with managers across the business to diagnose team challenges, surfacing deep insights that will shape our People Product roadmap.
Enable managers to confidently handle performance, conduct, and team issues through effective coaching, guidance, and accessible resources.
Apply product management principles, such as user research, problem framing, roadmap prioritization, MVP testing and tracking outcomes, when designing new People processes.
Design and implement scalable People Products that support employees at all stages, create measurable business outcomes, and scale effectively with the business.
Own the People Product lifecycle end-to-end: from identifying the foundational problem and designing the solution, through to successful rollout and adoption.
Serve as a trusted advisor on US employment matters, including multi-state compliance, FMLA administration, leaves of absence, and day-to-day employee relations.
Identify patterns that signal where new solutions are needed and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Find ways to measure outcomes that highlight impact and identify where we still need to improve.
Iterate on what you build based on real-world feedback; nothing is set and forget.
What you might be working on
Our initial 2026 People team priorities give a flavor of the types of challenges you'll help tackle:
Manager capability: Equipping managers with frameworks and guidance to handle performance, conduct, and team issues at first line.
Performance enablement: Implementing clear expectations and feedback cycles that scale with team growth.
US People foundations: Helping build out the US-specific pieces of our People stack, from multi-state compliance to leave administration and benefits enablement.
And these are just the tip of the iceberg. There are still foundational layers to build and new challenges that you will play a central role in identifying and prioritizing.
Requirements
The must-haves
You have relevant experience in People Partnering and/or People Operations with strength on one side combined with desire to build in the other.
You have a strong working knowledge of US federal and state employment laws (e.g. FLSA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, EEO, wage and hour, worker classification).
Comfortable with at-will employment and managing separations across multiple states, or confident picking up new state requirements as we expand.
You have hands-on experience with FMLA administration and other leave of absence processes (e.g. state paid family leave programs, ADA accommodations, parental leave), including advising managers and supporting employees through the full leave lifecycle.
You enjoy working closely with managers as well as building scalable people initiatives and have the ability to transform insights into real business impact.
You have strong communication and relationship-building skills combined with good judgment and discretion when working with sensitive employee matters and issues.
You care deeply about employee experience and business impact, and want to find ways to combine these in a meaningful way.
You thrive in ambiguity where we don't always have all the answers and rewriting People Playbooks excites you.
You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, operating comfortably across proactive projects while building foundational processes.
You embrace technology and AI, and actively look for ways they can help you and others work smarter.
You understand the nuances between urgent and important and how to prioritize accordingly.
And a few nice-to-haves
Experience in fast scaling tech/AI startups
Experience working with commercial teams, variable compensation/OTE structures
Experience supporting organizations operating across both the US and UK (or other international markets)
Exposure to UK employment law is a plus, given we operate across both markets, though you'll have a strong UK-based team to lean on for this.
Comfort with tools like Hibob and Justworks (or similar HRIS), Notion, Slack and the Google ecosystem
Why you'll love it here
You'll join a startup at an exciting inflection point ahead of a period of high-growth.
You'll enjoy rethinking how a People team delivers real value through new ways of working and evidence led design.
You'll have the opportunity to tackle meaningful challenges in a genuinely career-defining role.
You'll be part of a collaborative, highly ambitious and friendly culture where curiosity and innovation are celebrated.
Why this might not be for you
You are looking for a conventional HR role; this remit requires passion equal for partnering with managers as well as solving operational challenges, and leaning into opportunities enabled by AI and modern tooling.
You prefer steady rhythms or high predictability; we are building a new function with big bets and ambitious goals, and the work will stretch your thinking in a supported environment with space to learn and grow.
You want to follow fully defined processes or you feel uncomfortable with areas that are not yet structured; we are still shaping and rewriting People Playbooks and building foundations for a fast paced AI startup so you need to be comfortable with a level of ambiguity and work-in-progress.
Hiring process
This is our planned process for this role, though there may be slight variations where needed.
If you need any reasonable accommodations at any stage, please let us know!
Application review: We'll review your resume and application. Due to the high volume of applications, unfortunately, we're not able to provide individual feedback at this stage.
Screening video call (30 min): A conversation with one of our Talent Partners. They'll share more about Orbital and the role, hear about your background, and ask some questions about your experience. You'll have time to ask them questions too.
Hiring manager call (45 min): A conversation with Riikka (People Director, and your initial hiring manager for this role). We'll go into your experience in more depth, your approach to People Partnering and People Product work, and the kinds of challenges you'd tackle at Orbital. Plenty of time for your questions too.
Take-home task: If the hiring manager interview goes well, we'll send you a short, realistic scenario: this shouldn't take you more than an hour. We're interested in how you think, not the "right" answer or a full-fledged process. If you're successful, we'll invite you to the panel discussion. If not, we'll share feedback.
Panel discussion (90 min): You'll present your task and we'll dig into it together, followed by further questions about your experience. This would be an in-person interview in our New York office.
Culture interview (30 min): A conversation about values and how we work with some of our team members. A great opportunity for you to learn more about Orbital as well so bring your questions! We'll try to schedule this on the same day as your Panel discussion, but if that's not possible, we can do this remotely at another time too.
Offer!!
Benefits 🌟
Compensation: We offer a competitive starting salary in the range of $135,000-$165,000, depending on experience. We share salary ranges upfront to build trust, reduce bias, and support an inclusive process, even as we continue developing our internal pay structures.
We believe in flexibility, but we're also big on in-person collaboration. This role is based in our New York office two days a week, with additional time in as needed for things like all-hands, interviews, or team sessions.

What you'll do 🎯
Own the owned-channel conversion engine — turning existing demand and our database into qualified leads, meetings and pipeline.
Build and run lifecycle and nurture programs (email, automated journeys, segmentation) that move contacts from interest to opportunity.
Own the website as a conversion asset post-launch to improve conversion rates: landing pages, forms, conversion tracking and continuous A/B testing.
Grow organic and SEO performance, and increasingly optimise for AIO as discovery shifts.
Work closely with the Demand Generation Manager and the content team to maximize the pipeline impact of campaigns, content, traffic, and audience growth.
Run a constant test-and-learn program across your channels, with the autonomy to experiment and the data to prove what works.
Partner with Sales to improve MQL-to-meeting and account conversion rates, including handoff quality, follow-up visibility, conversion dashboards, and feedback loops on lead and account quality.
Define and report on the metrics that matter: conversion rates, pipeline from owned channels, and contribution to net-new and influenced pipeline, partnering with RevOps on attribution.
What you'll bring 💡
Demonstrable experience owning email, website and organic in a B2B context (ideally SaaS or AI), with a track record of converting existing demand into pipeline.
A hands-on operator who is fluent in your marketing automation platform (HubSpot or similar), CMS and analytics.. You’re comfortable building, launching, and improving campaigns yourself.
Strong data and analytical instincts. You test, measure and iterate, and you can clearly show the pipeline impact of your work through dashboards, reporting, and conversion analysis.
Experience improving database performance, segmentation, nurture, MQL conversion, and sales follow-up, with a practical understanding of how marketing activity turns into account engagement and pipeline.
A high bar for quality, especially in written and landing-page copy and in the customer-facing experiences you ship.
Comfort with ambiguity and pace. You take ownership, set your own priorities, and operate well in a lean, scaling team.
A growth mindset and genuine curiosity about our customers and the market we serve.
Nice to have
Experience marketing to legal, professional services or real estate audiences.
Familiarity with emerging AI/answer-engine optimization.
Experience standing up lifecycle programs from an early stage rather than inheriting a mature stack.

Head of Solutions Consulting

💡 Working at Orbital means joining a team that's reimagining how real estate transactions get done - moving fast, working collaboratively, and giving people the ownership to make a real impact from day one.
The role
Our Legal Solutions Architects sit at the heart of how we deliver. They're ex-real estate lawyers, accomplished and deeply credentialed, partnering with customers to integrate Orbital into how transactions actually get done. Pre-sale, they shape pilots and prove the value. Post-sale, they embed the product into workflows in ways that are genuinely transformative.
The team is growing fast: from a NY-based group today to a distributed US function with a manager sitting underneath this role. There's a build-from-scratch operational layer that has yet to exist. That's the job.
You'll take over day-to-day leadership of the LSA function: 1:1s, performance, career development, capacity planning, AE enablement, and the rhythms that hold a scaling function together. You'll partner closely with Lauren Hirt, our Head Legal Solutions Architect, who owns the deep legal substance and the strategic enterprise work. You own the operational layer that lets her, and the rest of the team, do their best work.
You
You've taken a small specialist function and scaled it: solutions consulting, sales engineering, pre-sales, professional services, or somewhere adjacent. Ideally you've worked with complex products (data, dev tools, cybersecurity, legal tech) where the team has to think before they sell, not just sell harder.
You build infrastructure where there isn't any. Career paths, playbooks, onboarding flows, the kind of rhythms that mean a function genuinely scales rather than just gets bigger. You take pride in making the people around you more effective.
You have high EQ. You know how to manage accomplished, opinionated people, the kind who joined you after senior careers elsewhere, who have strong views, and who haven't always been managed well. You can hold your own with sharp people without needing to be the sharpest in the room.
You're not a lawyer, and you don't need to be. You're smart enough to learn the domain fast, and credible enough to hold technical conversations with senior people inside Orbital and out. The substance sits with Lauren and the team; your job is to make sure they have what they need to bring it to bear.
You think deliberately about how AI changes the practice of management. Not as a buzzword. As a real lever you use every day.
What this isn't
This isn't a deal-execution or customer-facing legal role. The Head LSA owns the senior legal voice with customers. You own the function that makes everything else possible.
It isn't a step-up role for a first-time manager. The scope, team size, and pace need someone who has done versions of this before.
And it isn't a polished, established function with mature systems. You'll write the playbooks, not refine them.
Practicalities
Location: New York, 2 days a week in the office
Reports to: Interim CRO
Partners closely with: Head Legal Solutions Architect, US Sales Director, VP Customer Success
Compensation: $215,000 - $260,000 Competitive plus equity.
Benefits: 20 days PTO, 401(k) match, comprehensive health, $1,200 annual development budget, commuter benefits, weekly team meals
