Enterprise Account Executive
Who we are
Polar is the complete data platform for omnichannel commerce. We connect every data source a brand runs on - Shopify, Amazon, NetSuite, Meta, Google, Klaviyo - into a single Snowflake warehouse, layer a commerce semantic layer on top, then add AI so operators can ask questions, get answers, and automate workflows without writing SQL.
Our founders came from Turo and Airbnb in Silicon Valley. They built data platforms at scale and wanted to bring that level of sophistication to fast-growing commerce brands. We support 4,000+ merchants, and zero direct competition with a better solution. We serve brands like Quadlock, gorjana, Joseph Joseph, and ARMRA Colostrum.
We shipped MCP integrations with Claude and ChatGPT, AI automations, and an AI Data Engineer that builds connectors on demand. Our positioning: the data layer to build agent workflows for commerce. Customers tell us things like "this is a dream come true - it feels like the first time they showed me Shopify".
How we operate
We publish our operating principles internally and we mean every word. Here are the ones that matter most if you're thinking about joining:
Customer Obsession. Every decision starts with: does this make our users' lives better? If the answer isn't clear, go talk to a customer before you build anything.
Own the Number. Every metric has an owner. If it's yours, know it cold - the trend, the why, the plan. Don't wait for someone to ask. If it's off track, you should be the first to say so.
Raise the Pace. Always ask: what would it take to do this in half the time? Speed is our edge. We try 100 things while the competitor tries one.
Don't Fail Silently. If it's broken, say it. If you're stuck, raise your hand. Hiding problems is the one thing that will actually get you in trouble.
Here to Win, Not to Be Right. Quiet ego, loud standards. Don't fight to be right - fight to win together. Be ruthless on quality, never rude about it.
Optimize for Polar, Not Your Function. "Not my scope" doesn't exist here. If it makes us win, it's your scope.
We're a remote-first team that runs daily standups, ships weekly, and holds ourselves to a standard most companies talk about but don't enforce. We're transitioning from founder-led intensity to systematic company intensity - which means we need people who can maintain the pace autonomously, not just when someone's watching.
Why this role exists
We're closing enterprise deals already. Q1 2026 was a company record. The unit economics are strong: $40k ACV, <30 days close time on qualified deals, 40% win rate.
But enterprise deals are getting more complex. They require executive stakeholder mapping, build vs buy positioning against internal data teams, and longer cycles with multiple decision-makers. We need someone who can run these deals end-to-end - from first call to close - with the technical credibility and deal orchestration skills that enterprise requires.
You'll work alongside our Head of Sales and partner closely with our partnerships team. The opportunity is massive and the foundation is built - we need someone who can close at the next level.
What you'll own
Full-cycle enterprise deals from discovery through close. Your targets will be mid-market and enterprise DTC brands doing $50M-$500M+ GMV with complex omnichannel operations
Executive stakeholder mapping and multi-threaded selling across ecommerce, marketing, data, and finance teams. You'll navigate deals where the CRO, VP of Ecommerce, and CFO all need to sign off
Build vs buy conversations with technical stakeholders. Brands with data teams are evaluating building their own stack - you need to credibly position why 8 separate tools and a 6-12 month project isn't the answer. Your talk track branches based on team size and sophistication
Pipeline generation in partnership with our SDR function, partnerships team, and your own outbound. You'll own the number and know it cold - the trend, the why, the plan
AI and MCP demos that land. Our AI roadmap - semantic layer, AI data analyst, AI strategist, autonomous agents - is the strongest part of our pitch for enterprise. You need to demo MCP on Claude and ChatGPT live and explain the four-level AI journey confidently
Consultative discovery using our structured playbook. We've built discovery frameworks for goals, stack, pain/product, and decision process - you'll master them and make them your own
Deal forecasting and pipeline hygiene. No silent slips - if something is off, say it now. Reforecast early with a new plan, don't wait for it to blow up
Who you are
We don't have a rigid checklist of requirements. We're looking for a specific kind of person:
You've spent 3-5 years closing $50k+ enterprise SaaS deals with technical evaluation processes. You've sold to multi-stakeholder buying committees, not just single-threaded to one champion
You're technically credible. You can discuss semantic layers, Snowflake instances, attribution models, and data architecture without sounding like you're reading a script. CTOs and data leads take you seriously
You have experience selling to ecommerce, retail, or DTC brands - or you've sold data/analytics/BI tools and can learn the vertical fast
You're a consultative seller who positions as a strategic advisor, not a vendor. You help prospects understand their data architecture gaps and business impact before you pitch features
You're patient with long cycles but relentless on next steps. Enterprise deals require relationship building across multiple stakeholders - you know how to keep momentum without being pushy
You're comfortable demoing AI products live and excited about the space. This isn't a "hand it to the SE" role - you run your own demos
You communicate clearly and concisely. No fluff, no jargon. You close the loop on everything
What separates A-players
You run discovery like a consultant, not a checklist. You map every stakeholder in the first two calls and know exactly who the economic buyer is. You can pivot between talking ROAS with a Head of Growth and data architecture with a CTO in the same meeting. You build pipeline when you're ahead of quota, not just when you're behind. And you treat forecasting as a craft - your commits are accurate because you understand your deals, not because you're sandbagging.
What our customers see
These are the kinds of results you'll sell against:
Thiege consolidated 9 different tools into Polar and saved $300K per year vs building their own data stack
CABA improved their ROAS by 65% using our attribution model and incrementality testing to reallocate spend
Modular Closet grew Klaviyo flow revenue by 50% with our CDP and identity resolution layer
Quadlock started with us below $10M - we helped them scale to 9 figures and a $350M acquisition
How we hire
We believe the best people want to go through a demanding process. We've learned the hard way that great interviewers aren't always great operators - so our process is designed to see how you think, not how you present.
1. Motivation screen - A quick call to understand what drives you and whether there's mutual fit
2. Live case study - A real scenario where you work through a problem in real time. No prep decks, no take-homes. We want to see how you actually operate
3. Leadership conversations - Meet the team, understand the culture, make sure this is somewhere you want to build
Our hiring bar: if this person started a company, would we want to join them?

We're transitioning from founder-led intensity to systematic company intensity - which means we need people who can maintain the pace autonomously, not just when someone's watching.
Why this role exists
Partnerships are our highest-performing channel. One partnership manager has generated $1.1M in revenue since July 2025, with a Q1 run rate approaching $2M annually. Partner-referred deals close at 52% vs 37% for direct sales. Partnerships now account for 36% of total company revenue.
The opportunity is massive and barely tapped. The Shopify ecosystem alone has 80 Platinum partners globally (each managing 50-150 brands), 950 Premier/Plus partners (each managing ~20 clients), and a total addressable market north of $100M just from the platinum tier. We've proven the model works - now we need to scale it.
This is part founder-energy relationship building, part systems thinking at scale.
What you'll own
Partner enablement and training - getting agency teams to understand Polar's value prop, demo the product themselves, and refer qualified brands. You'll create the "Polar operating system" for partners
Full-funnel partner pipeline from identification through activation to revenue. 43% of current partners have referred at least one deal - your job is to push that number significantly higher
Partner economics and deal structure. You'll work with a 20% discount model (commission or client discount), master agency accounts, and bi-directional lead sharing. You need to make the math work for both sides
AI and MCP as a partnership differentiator. Our MCP integrations are a major draw for technical agencies - you need to demo this confidently and help partners position it to their clients
In-person relationship building at Shopify events, industry conferences, and agency visits. This role requires travel and face time - partnerships close on trust
Tech-enabled scale - building automated workflows, partner nurture sequences, and systems that let you manage 100+ partner relationships without everything being manual
Who you are
We don't have a rigid checklist of requirements. We're looking for a specific kind of person:
You've spent 3-4 years in partnerships, channel sales, or business development at a SaaS company. This is not your first job - you've built partner programs before and know what breaks at scale
You're tech-savvy and systems-oriented. You think about automation first and manual effort second. You've used or built partner tooling, CRM workflows, or enablement programs
You know the Shopify ecosystem, ecommerce agency world, or DTC brand landscape. You understand how agencies make money and why they'd want to recommend a data platform
You can handle the full funnel independently - from cold outreach to partner activation to ongoing relationship management. You don't need someone to set up your meetings
You're comfortable demoing product and talking data with technical agency teams. AI, MCP, attribution models - you can explain the value without a sales engineer
You're energized by in-person relationship building. Events, dinners, agency visits - you see these as opportunities, not obligations
You communicate clearly and close loops fast. No messages go unanswered, no commitments slip without an update
What separates A-players
You think about partnerships as a system. You build the enablement materials, the automated nurture, and the feedback loops that let you scale from 20 partners to 200 without burning out. You understand that partner close rates are higher because the trust is pre-built - and you invest in that trust systematically. You're as comfortable building a Slack workflow as you are buying dinner for an agency founder.

The Role
We're looking for a B2B Social Content Creator laser-focused on LinkedIn. You'll own the full lifecycle of our LinkedIn content - from mining raw material (customer calls, product releases, internal strategy) to publishing high-performing posts and running LinkedIn Ads that drive real pipeline.
You'll be producing 8-10+ posts per week across multiple accounts, managing a backlog of content ideas, creating visuals, editing video clips, and reviewing ad performance metrics. You'll work directly with the CEO and GTM team.
What You'll Do
Content Production
Generate post ideas from customer calls, product launches, and market trends
Write initial outlines and refine posts into publish-ready content
Craft scroll-stopping hooks and clear CTAs
Create high-quality visuals in Figma (quick passes, 4x export, shadows - the details matter)
Manage a backlog of posts per account (CEO, team members, company page)
Experiment with different formats: text-only, carousels, video clips, screenshots of real workflows
Video Editing
Turn customer call recordings into social-format clips with subtitles (Veed.io, iMovie)
Create Screen Studio recordings and high-quality screen captures
Build YouTube thumbnails and manage exports in preferred formats
LinkedIn Ads & Performance
Review and manage LinkedIn Ad promotions targeting the right audience (custom audiences of 400k+ Shopify brands)
Report on the right metrics - pipeline generated, not vanity engagement
Review signup and app install data from ad-driven workflows
Who You Are
2+ years of experience creating B2B content on LinkedIn (show us your posts or posts you've ghostwritten)
You understand DTC / ecommerce language and can speak to founders and operators
You're comfortable with provocative framing that drives engagement and reach
You can write a hook that stops the scroll - first line is everything
You know your way around Figma, Veed.io, iMovie, Screen Studio, and YouTube Studio
You're fluent with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and use them to move faster, not replace thinking
You're metrics-driven - you care about pipeline impact, not just likes
You move fast, make smart shortcuts, and don't wait for permission
Bonus Points
Experience with LinkedIn Ads campaign management
Background in DTC/ecommerce
You've built or managed a content engine at a B2B SaaS startup
Why Polar
LinkedIn is our #1 growth channel and you'll be at the center of it
Work directly with the CEO who is hands-on with content strategy
We're building the future of ecommerce analytics with AI
Fast-moving team, real impact, no bureaucracy
Competitive comp + equity

Who we are
We're building the data & AI operating system for eCommerce — think Datadog for retail. We ingest messy Shopify, ads, and retention data, make it reliable, and turn it into decisions brands can actually trust. We're hiring CSMs who want real ownership.
What you will do
You'll be the strategic layer between our product and the merchants who depend on it — working directly with CMOs, growth marketers, and operators who think in ROAS, LTV, and retention.
This isn't a support role. You'll:
Own a portfolio of 50-70 accounts end-to-end (onboarding → adoption → expansion → renewal)
Run QBRs that change how brands think about their data, not just review dashboards
Spot expansion opportunities before anyone asks and close them alongside Sales
Turn customer problems into product improvements — your field insights shape our roadmap
Push back on customers professionally when they need a better path, not just validation
Onboard new merchants hands-on and make sure they actually graduate to full product fluency
We move quickly, optimize for outcomes over activity, and trust you to make the call without hand-holding.
What you bring
You've spent 3-5+ years in Customer Success at a B2B SaaS company, ideally one serving eCommerce brands. You understand what a drop in ROAS actually means. You've managed high account volumes and liked it. You think in revenue and retention, not tickets and NPS scores.
Shopify ecosystem familiarity is a strong plus. Ex-DTC operators and ex-consultants who moved into SaaS tend to do exceptionally well here.

Who we are
We’re building the data & AI operating system for eCommerce, think Datadog for retail.
We ingest messy Shopify, ads, and retention data, make it reliable, and turn it into decisions teams can actually trust.
We’re hiring engineers who want real ownership.
What you will do
You’ll work on core systems: data pipelines, semantic layers, RAG, AI evaluation, experimentation, and products used daily by thousands of merchants.
This isn’t a ticket-taking role. You’ll:
Own problems end-to-end (design → production)
Tackle hard infra challenges (petabytes, near real-time, high reliability)
Talk directly to users to understand failure modes + edge cases
Ship fast prototypes, then harden them into real systems
Help shape what we build next as we scale
We move quickly, optimize for leverage, and care a lot about doing things right as we grow. We use Claude Code and Cursor very heavily.
