Position Overview We are seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to own the technical modeling and system design process that underpins every enterprise deal we close. This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and product strategy — you will architect quantitative models used to size and justify our warehouse robotics systems while serving as the primary feedback loop between market-facing teams and our engineering and product organizations. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position with a direct line to influence the product roadmap. Responsibilities Develop and own quantitative models for designing and sizing warehouse robotics systems, including throughput simulations, labor displacement analyses, ROI models, and operational workflow configurations. Translate complex customer data — order profiles, SKU velocity, floor layouts, labor rates, WMS integrations — into optimized system designs with clearly justified recommendations. Build and continuously refine modeling tools, templates, and frameworks that enable consistent, scalable operation across the sales engineering team. Lead design reviews with internal engineering teams and customer stakeholders, presenting technical solutions accessibly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Partner with account executives across the full sales cycle — qualification through proposal, technical validation, and close. Lead technical discovery sessions with operations, engineering, and executive-level stakeholders at prospective customers. Construct business cases and ROI analyses translating system capabilities into measurable outcomes: units per hour, labor cost reduction, order accuracy, and capital payback period. Serve as the primary conduit between market-facing teams and internal engineering and product management, capturing customer objections, competitive differentiators, and unmet requirements. Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and maintain a structured gap analysis framework to drive prioritized product requirements. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or systems engineering within warehouse automation, material handling, or supply chain technology. Demonstrated expertise building throughput models, simulation analyses, or operational designs for automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AMRs, conveyor/sortation, goods-to-person). Deep knowledge of warehouse operations: order fulfillment workflows, labor management, WMS/WCS architecture, inbound/outbound processes, and peak planning. Proficiency with simulation or modeling tools (AutoMod, Emulate3D, FlexSim, or equivalent); custom modeling in Excel or Python a strong plus. Familiarity with WMS/WCS systems and integration requirements (API, EDI, SOAP/REST). Ability to read and interpret facility drawings, floor plans, and AutoCAD files. Exceptional communicator comfortable presenting to both VP of Operations and CFO-level stakeholders in the same meeting. Willingness to travel to customer sites (~40–50%). Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical discipline; Master's or MBA a plus. Background working with or for 3PLs, large-format retailers, or e-commerce fulfillment operations preferred. Position Overview The Manufacturing Design Engineer will support the transition of robotic prototypes into small-scale production. This role combines mechanical design with hands-on assembly, working directly with hardware to ensure systems can be built, tested, and maintained reliably. You will design the fixtures, tooling, and processes required to assemble and operate a small fleet of robots, while collaborating closely with engineering teams to improve manufacturability and build efficiency as designs evolve. Responsibilities Use CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) to design and iterate on assembly jigs, test fixtures, and specialized tooling that improve build speed and repeatability. Perform full-system assembly of robotic prototypes and small-batch production units, integrating mechanical, electrical, and sensing components. Build and route cable harnesses, integrate sensors and actuators, and bring robotic subsystems together into functional platforms. Provide DFM/DFA feedback during early design phases to identify assembly challenges and improve robustness, serviceability, and scalability. Create and maintain assembly procedures, bills of materials (BOMs), and test protocols that enable consistent builds across the fleet. Preferred Qualifications Background in a technician, assembly, robotics, or shop-heavy environment. Comfortable using common hand tools, power tools, and lab equipment. Professional experience designing functional parts, fixtures, or mechanical systems in a modern CAD environment. Ability to read electrical schematics and perform tasks such as crimping, soldering, and cable harness fabrication. Experience working with evolving hardware designs and supporting the transition from prototype to production. Position Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that powers Skild AI’s robotics development at scale. You will own the systems that let our engineering teams move fast — from build tooling and CI/CD pipelines to cross-platform hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure. This is a foundational role: you will be setting up and scaling critical systems in a company that is growing quickly, working directly alongside machine learning, robotics software, and hardware engineers to keep our development cycles fast and our deployments reliable. Responsibilities Own and scale Bazel/Skylark build infrastructure from scratch, including custom rules, toolchains, and remote caching across a multi-language codebase. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software and hardware-in-the-loop (SIL/HIL) testing using Jenkins or equivalent. Develop cross-compilation toolchains and system library packages targeting ARM/aarch64 embedded Linux platforms and integrate them into the build system. Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) supporting model training, simulation, and deployment. Maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and own developer environment tooling to accelerate engineering iteration. Collaborate with ML, robotics software, and hardware engineers to resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and define tooling roadmaps. Preferred Qualifications BS, MS, or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or build/release engineering. Hands-on experience owning a Bazel/Skylark build system from scratch at a 100–500 person company, including custom rules, platforms, and toolchain configuration. Experience packaging system libraries for cross-compilation to ARM/aarch64 embedded Linux platforms. Proven track record building automated SIL/HIL test pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent) for robotics or embedded systems. Strong Python and Bash scripting; solid Linux internals, Docker, and cross-compilation knowledge.
