The Role:
At Sunrise Robotics, this role ensures that our robots can be deployed, updated and supported reliably at scale. As deployments grow, we need consistent environments, secure access control and automated workflows that remove friction from engineering and reduce operational risk.
Through deep troubleshooting, incident investigation, clean documentation, and clear communication, you will keep our internal systems and engineering infrastructure reliable. You’ll work with Linear as the ticketing/triage system and partner closely with Engineering to eliminate recurring infrastructure problems.
You will own deployment environments, cloud provisioning, endpoint configuration, networking and security practices end to end. Your accountability is straightforward: ensure our infrastructure is consistent, secure and reliable so the team can ship and deploy robots without unnecessary blockers.
What You’ll Do:
Automate and maintain deployment workflows to streamline robot cell rollouts, reduce manual setup, and eliminate recurring operational issues.
Containerise and stabilise our robotics software stack to ensure consistent, reproducible environments across development, cloud and deployed production systems.
Standardise and manage Linux and Windows environments, establishing repeatable configuration and provisioning practices.
Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure, including secure access, permissions and identity management (SSO, SSH), with clear ownership of reliability and recovery practices.
Configure and manage networking infrastructure, including VPNs and secure remote access.
Own endpoint security and system hardening across internal machines and deployed systems.
Design and operate monitoring and alerting systems, leading incident response, root cause analysis and preventative improvements.
Own operational intake and prioritisation of infrastructure issues, ensuring clear communication and structured resolution.
Maintain clear documentation of environments, incident learnings, processes and recovery procedures to ensure continuity.
What You’ll Need:
Proven experience automating infrastructure and deployment workflows using scripting and programming (e.g. Ansible, Python, Bash).
Strong hands-on Linux systems administration experience.
Experience with scalable containerised environments in production.
Practical experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, reliability and access management (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, VPN configuration and secure remote access.
Experience implementing and managing credentials, SSO and identity/access control systems.
Demonstrated experience configuring, standardising and hardening Linux and Windows endpoints.
Experience building monitoring and alerting systems, and using logs and metrics for structured diagnosis.
Experience leading incident response, including clear communication, root cause analysis and preventative follow-up actions.

The Role:
This is a role for someone who wants to see their work in the real world. The robotic cells you clear for deployment will run in live manufacturing facilities across Europe - and the quality bar you set is what stands between a controlled build environment and a production floor where things need to work.
You'll join Sunrise Robotics at a stage where production is scaling but the processes around it are still being built. That means real ownership - of supplier quality, hardware acceptance, and the provisioning workflows that get a cell ready for a customer. You'll be the person engineering, supply chain, and deployment teams rely on to know whether a system is ready to ship.
It's a hands-on role. You'll spend meaningful time at manufacturing partner facilities, working directly with the people building our systems - inspecting hardware, resolving issues on the spot, and making the calls that keep delivery on track. What You'll Do:
Act as Sunrise's quality representative towards manufacturing partners - performing incoming inspections, verifying builds against drawings and specifications, and owning the quality sign-off before any system ships.
Manage supplier quality issues end to end: raise claims, investigate root causes, track corrective actions, and monitor trends over time.
Develop and maintain hardware acceptance procedures, checklists, and quality standards as production scales.
Execute provisioning and system configuration workflows for robotic cells, ensuring hardware, software, and deployment packages are fully prepared and traceable.
Coordinate readiness activities across supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing partners ahead of customer delivery.
Maintain quality records, BOM accuracy, and operational data in Odoo.
Contribute to process improvement across supplier development, delivery readiness, and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Need
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
Proven experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, hardware testing, systems integration, industrial automation, or machine building.
Confidence reading and working from technical drawings, electrical schematics, BOMs, and acceptance criteria.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and system-level issues alongside engineering teams.

The Role
As our Data Acquisition Specialist, you sit at the point where our customers’ factories meet our product roadmap. You go deep into electronics manufacturing processes, capture how they really work, and turn that complex reality into structured data, analytics, and reporting that the product team uses to decide which robotics capabilities to build next.
You are the technical face of Sunrise in these conversations: trusted by customer engineers to understand their process, and trusted internally to translate it into evidence the product team can act on. This is a balanced, hands-on role, part time in the field with customers, part time building the data foundation.
What you’ll do
Capture and translate customer processes:
Work directly with customer engineering and operations teams to observe, document, and map their manufacturing processes (for example PCBA, assembly, inspection, test, and material handling).
Elicit and write up process requirements, constraints, cycle times, tolerances, and failure modes in a clear, structured form.
Translate domain language in both directions between customers and our product and engineering teams.
Structure data and build the analytics foundation:
Define what data we should capture across customer engagements, and design simple, durable structures to hold it.
Build and maintain the datasets, queries, dashboards, and reports the product team relies on, using strong SQL and Python and a BI tooling.
Keep the data clean, consistent, and trustworthy across many processes and customers. You own this lightweight infrastructure end to end.
Turn data into product insight:
Analyse process and capability data to surface patterns, reuse opportunities, and gaps that should shape the roadmap.
Produce the recurring reporting and one off analyses the product team use to prioritise.
Recommend where robotics capabilities will unlock the most value, backed by evidence.
Be a technical face of the company externally:
Represent Sunrise credibly with customer technical stakeholders, both on-site and remote.
Build trust by genuinely understanding both the manufacturing process and what modern robotics software and machine learning can and cannot do for it.
Feed customer reality back into product decisions, and clear technical narratives back out to customers.
What you’ll bring
Hands-on analytical and data skills. SQL and Python, comfort structuring messy data into usable datasets, and building dashboards and reports in a BI tool. You don’t need to be a data engineer, but you should be able to stand up lightweight data infrastructure and own it.
Deep familiarity with manufacturing processes, from either a process or industrial engineering background in any manufacturing environment, or from deploying robotics and automation into manufacturing. You can walk a factory floor and understand what you’re seeing.
Requirements capture. The ability to elicit, structure, and clearly document complex technical requirements.
Customer-facing presence. Credible, trusted, and clear with technical stakeholders; comfortable being the external technical representative of the company.
Working understanding of modern robotics and machine learning. Enough to reason about feasibility and value. You don’t need to be a practitioner, but you need to understand what it takes.
Excellent written communication. Able to turn observation and data into crisp, decision-ready narratives.

Direct experience in electronics manufacturing (PCBA, box build, test, or EMS / contract manufacturing environments).
Experience working alongside or within a product team.
Familiarity with data pipeline or warehouse tooling, even if it isn’t your primary muscle.

The Role:

As an AI Delivery Engineer, you are the bridge between development and deployment - the person who takes AI vision and robotics applications and makes them work in production, 24/7, on real hardware at customer sites.
You will build and ship applications powered by our internal stack, monitor their performance in the field, and feed what you learn back into improving the platform. Your work has a direct line to deployed robot cells - and your experience in the field will shape how our stack evolves.
What You'll Do:
Build and deploy end-to-end AI vision and robotics applications to production on real-world and simulated robotic systems.
Own technical delivery from application design through to deployment and iterative improvement.
Monitor, diagnose, and address issues in deployed AI and robotics applications.
Configure logging, observability, and alerting systems to track application health and behaviour in the field.
Monitor and re-train algorithms in production; perform A/B testing and re-deploy with confidence.
Generate and curate data to improve models and applications over time.
Work closely with engineering and AI teams to integrate components and deliver production-grade solutions.
Support our Forward Deploy Engineering team when technical issues require deeper investigation.
What You'll Need:
A strong background in 2D/3D computer vision and deep learning, with at least 2 years building solutions for production-grade systems.
Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and computer vision frameworks such as OpenCV.
Experience training and deploying AI models, with familiarity with MLOps practices and Docker.

The Role:
Sunrise Robotics is hiring its first Product Designer. You’d work on Cell Experience (CX), the discipline of making a robotic cell legible, trusted, and integrated by the people working around it and alongside it.
This isn't purely a technical role, as a cell doesn't exist in isolation. It's introduced, explained, handed over, and evaluated by real people: operators on the floor, supervisors managing throughput, plant managers assessing ROI, and the field engineers who commission and maintain them. Design touches all of it: how a cell communicates its state, how a new operator builds confidence with it, how a plant manager understands its value. We're building automation as a service, and that means the experience extends well beyond the screen.
In the first six months, you'll build Sunrise's design language and bring it to life across every CX surface: from operator software interfaces to the physical signals a cell sends across a production floor. A year from now, that language will be coherent across the fleet and across the journey: a person should be able to walk up to any Sunrise cell, in any facility, and operate it safely and confidently without prior training. Your design is what gets us there.
This is a founding design role. You'll define the tools, standards, and quality of craft, working directly with robotics, AI, software, and mechanical teams to make complex, autonomous systems feel predictable and trustworthy in live environments.
What You’ll Do:
Own the design of Cell Experience across every interaction surface: operator software (operations, analytics, settings), physical interfaces (e-stop, lights, sound, feedback), and the service touch-points around them.
Design for the full journey: how a cell is introduced, onboarded, monitored, handed over, and understood: by operators, supervisors, plant managers, and field engineers.
Define the interaction models, system behaviours, and design principles that make autonomous systems feel safe and intuitive to people who didn't choose them and weren't trained on them.
Develop Sunrise's design language into a fleet-coherent system that scales across diverse manufacturing environments.
Design for real-world conditions: edge cases, failure modes, alert states, and recovery flows in noisy, high-stakes settings.
Prototype concepts across software and physical surfaces: UI flows, light system logic, display hierarchies, and feedback mechanisms.
Work directly with engineering disciplines to ensure designs translate faithfully into production-quality behaviour.
Validate designs with operators and other users in live settings, and iterate on what actually happens on the floor.
Set the standard for design quality, clarity, and craft as the design function grows.
What You’ll Need:
Experience carrying design across both product and service - you think about the full journey, not just the interface.
Strong foundation in UX, interaction design, and service design, with high visual quality and the ability to work across all dimensions.
Experience designing for high-stakes, complex systems where the people using them didn't commission them and can't always stop when something goes wrong. That might be manufacturing - or it might be healthcare, transport, logistics, financial services, or a comparable domain.
The ability to think in systems: across states, flows, behaviours, environments, and the humans moving through all of them.
Proficiency with Figma and the ability to move quickly from concept to testable prototype.

Financial Controller

The role:
This is our first in-house Financial Controller role, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You'll own the day-to-day accounting function across our Slovenia, UK, and US entities, drive down month-end turnaround, and help build a finance foundation that can scale with the business.
It's a hands-on, high-ownership role with direct visibility into every part of the company. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and have a direct line to the leadership team - which means your work matters quickly and the people making decisions will see it.
What you'll do:
Run month-end close across Slovenia, UK, and US entities, producing accurate, timely management accounts.
Own group consolidation, inter-company eliminations, and multi-currency adjustments.
Support tax, statutory, and regulatory filings in coordination with local advisers.
Define and maintain accounting policies, including fixed assets and lease accounting under IFRS 16.
Run and automate the accounts payable function.
Support billing and accounts receivable management.
Lead the ERP implementation project alongside the Head of Finance - from system selection through to deployment.
What You'll Need:
Solid accounting and financial skills, built across 6-8 years in a hands-on role - ideally with some exposure to hardware or manufacturing businesses.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to month-end and reporting processes.
Organised and self-directed, comfortable operating in a lean team where you'll need to manage your own priorities.
Curious and willing to learn - this is a role that will grow, and so will the finance function around it.

Simulation Team Lead

The Role:
As Simulation Team Lead, you'll shape and deliver the simulation foundation that powers our AI training, solution validation and robot behaviour into high-fidelity virtual environments that scale from data collection to manufacturing running 24/7.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will build and lead a multidisciplinary Simulation team, set the direction for our digital replica, synthetic data generation, and sim-based validation infrastructure. As a mentor and a leader, you will be responsible for hiring and performance management of the simulation team.
Working at the intersection of robotics, physics simulation, computer graphics, AI, and real-world deployment, you'll help shape Sunrise's simulation roadmap and ensure our virtual environments produce data, models, and behaviours that transfer reliably from sim to the customer in the real world.
What You'll Do:
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary Simulation team. Own hiring, performance management, and career development across physics, 3D design, robotics, and software engineering.
Set and maintain production-level quality standards, ensuring simulations reliably support AI training, robotics behaviour development, and customer production systems running 24/7.
Partner with Simulation Tech Leads on technical direction for digital replicas, synthetic data generation, and customer solution simulation. Contribute to PRDs and technical design documents with constructive, critical feedback.
Drive the Simulation team's roadmap - define commitments, uphold accountability, monitor progress, surface risks early, and reduce technical debt.
Run the day-to-day operational cadence: reviews, standups, retrospectives, and reporting, ensuring work is predictable, visible, and successfully adopted across engineering.

A proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams in simulation, robotics, or graphics/games engineering - including hiring, mentoring, and building high-performing, outcome-driven teams.

The Role:

What You’ll Do:
