Work with TI teams, customers and external partners around the world to design, build, qualify and support our industry-leading analog and embedded processing products. As a product, test and validation engineer, you play a vital role in assuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products. From test software and hardware development, product debugging and test optimization – you help ensure our products are consistently competitive and leading in the market. In each of these roles you'll dive deeper into manufacturing, quality, design verification or validation engineering. In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving. You'll also take a leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in TI wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher Preferred qualifications Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.) Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended) Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery ABOUT US Why TI? These systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without interruption, creating a state of the art manufacturing environment. Facilities works closely with TI's manufacturing team to understand how the utility systems impact the process as well as how to reduce consumption. Responsibilities include: Engineering & Technical Leadership Make engineering decisions that balance safety, reliability, cost, capacity, and operational efficiency Lead the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of chemical, specialty gas, bulk gas, slurry, and related high-purity utility systems Provide engineering technical support for system operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response Develop and maintain key system documentation, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and sequences of operation Drive reliability and risk-based engineering through root cause analysis, FMEAs, system assessments, and improvement roadmaps Partner with operations, maintenance, manufacturing, EHS, and engineering teams to improve system performance and safe operation Mentor engineers and technicians while strengthening overall team technical capability Project Leadership & Execution Lead capital and expense projects for system upgrades, expansions, and optimization initiatives from concept through startup and handoff Define project scope, priorities, schedules, resources, and success measures, and drive execution to plan Coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities to ensure systems perform as intended Develop scopes of work, bid packages, technical specifications, and construction documentation Facilitate alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, and external partners throughout project execution Identify and manage project risks, change control, and implementation issues to minimize operational impact Report project progress, results, and lessons learned to leadership Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position. Responsibilities include: Evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues Studying equipment performance and reliability Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree 3 + years of relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer with Axcelis HC3, Paradigm, and/or Purion Xe platforms Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Implant, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum Equipment experience on other equipment (e.g., AMAT, Axcelis) Experience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques. Experienced with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors. Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationship ABOUT US Why TI?
