What you’ll do:
- Lead placement strategy for high-value, multi-line accounts (Mgmt Liability, Cyber/Tech E&O, Professional, GL/Umbrella).
- Negotiate directly with carriers and wholesale partners to unlock optimal coverage, structure, and pricing.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client managers and producers, guiding deal structuring and market positioning.
- Build and expand senior-level carrier partnerships, anticipating appetite shifts and introducing creative solutions.
- Translate emerging market and competitive trends into actionable strategies.
- Contribute to process, compliance, and tech innovations that scale our brokerage edge.
- Mentor and coach colleagues, helping grow the next generation of placement leaders at Vouch.
About you:
- 8+ years of commercial insurance experience with a track record of placing complex risks independently.
- Deep expertise in P&C with emphasis on Cyber, Professional, and Management Liability, with proven ability to influence carrier strategy and underwriting appetite.
- Executive presence and influence with both carrier partners and client stakeholders.
- Known for delivering high-quality results under pressure and balancing client advocacy with carrier realities.

Compensation philosophy:
The base salary for this role varies by location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a variable annual performance bonus.
- San Francisco & New York: $150,000 – $180,000 per year + eligible for 20% variable annual bonus
- Chicago: $140,000 – $165,000 per year + eligible for 20% variable annual bonus

What You’ll Do:
- Design and build integrations across system boundaries, including backend services (TypeScript/Python), Salesforce (Apex, Flows), and data platforms such as Snowflake.
- Implement reliable interfaces and data access primitives used by agentic workflows, including well-bounded tool interfaces, filtering constraints, and normalized data contracts.
- Design APIs, event flows, and service contracts that enable agents and human workflows to interact safely with operational systems.
- Improve reliability and observability across integration boundaries through testing, monitoring, and clear error classification and remediation patterns.

What You'll Do:
- Business Development and Ecosystem Engagement: Establish and grow your Centers of Influence, cultivating key relationships with top law firms, investors, and partners to prospect and close new business.
- Attend and/or host 3-4 industry events per month to become a known and trusted figure among founders, investors, and senior executives.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Success team member, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a great experience after purchasing coverage with Vouch. This position will be responsible for guiding existing customers through any insurance questions they may have, day-to-day servicing of accounts, renewal business, supporting client needs when changing coverage, and ensuring a great experience for all Vouch customers.

Job Duties:
- Establish trusted relationships with our customers
- Retain existing Vouch clients during their renewal process
- Analyze existing insurance packages and evaluate risk
- Deliver consistent and timely follow-up in response to client requests and issues
- Manage growing accounts, including advising clients on risk solutions and selling more products
- Effectively use Direct Carrier and Wholesale Broker platforms to secure alternative quotes and manage existing policies, including the preparation and presentation of submissions
- Construct and present customized insurance packages to clients
- Ensure clients are comfortable with and able to utilize the tools/services available through the Vouch platform
- Drive additional value by identifying follow-up opportunities for Vouch
- Collaborate with billing and Policy Administration teams on client/carrier instructions and assist in collections as needed
About you:
- 2+ years of sales, brokerage, customer service, or other client-facing experience – within the insurance industry preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to be agile and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Possess a competitive drive to outperform peers and continuously improve hard and soft skills
