Matillion is the company behind Maia, the AI Data Automation platform.
In the AI economy, demand for data is exploding. Manual data engineering can’t keep up. Maia fixes that by combining 15 years of data expertise with agentic AI to eliminate the manual work that slows data teams down. Organisations like Cisco, DocuSign, and Slack are already using it to deliver real business impact, faster.
We started in Manchester and now we’re global - with teams across the UK, US and India.
We are driven, curious, energetic people who move fast, think big and hold ourselves to a high standard. We’re here to make a dent in the universe bigger than ourselves. And we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.
About the role
Our partner ecosystem is one of the most powerful levers we have for growth - and this role sits right at the heart of it. As Senior Partner Solution Architect, you are the primary technical authority for Matillion's partner relationships, spanning global SIs like Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro and Infosys, and cloud platforms including AWS, Snowflake and Databricks. This is a senior individual contributor role at the intersection of technology, enablement and go-to-market. You don't just advise partners, you build their capability, accelerate joint pipelines and make Matillion the go-to data integration platform across every partner practice.
This is a role for someone who is technically credible, commercially sharp and energised by enabling others. You'll design and deliver partner enablement programmes, engage as the Matillion technical lead in co-sell motions, own the technical onboarding journey for new partners and feed the voice of the ecosystem back into Product and Engineering. If you're partner-obsessed, deeply fluent in the modern data stack and ready to operate with high autonomy, this is for you.
\n
What you will be doing
Designing and delivering structured technical enablement programmes for GSI and cloud partner teams - including bootcamps, workshops, certification pathways and a scalable partner readiness framework that tracks and closes technical maturity gaps
Engaging as the Matillion technical lead in joint partner-led sales cycles - supporting partner SAs in discovery, solution design and technical validation, while working alongside Alliances and Sales to activate co-sell motions with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks and other cloud marketplace partners
Owning the end-to-end technical onboarding journey for new GSI and cloud partners - from first product orientation through to delivery readiness - with clear milestones and the ability to independently demo, implement and support Matillion within agreed timeframes
Acting as the internal voice of the partner ecosystem - surfacing product gaps, feature requests and integration needs to Product and Engineering, while enabling internal field teams to confidently articulate partner-led Matillion use cases
Building Matillion's presence and credibility in the partner ecosystem through technical thought leadership - authoring blogs, white papers and solution briefs, representing Matillion at partner QBRs, conferences and joint field events across the US
What we are looking for
5+ years in a Solution Architect, Partner SE or Technical Presales role within the data, analytics or cloud ecosystem - with a proven track record of enabling GSI or cloud partner teams at scale, including delivering training programmes and certification frameworks
Deep hands-on knowledge of data integration, ELT/ETL architecture and modern cloud data platform design - with direct experience across Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery or Azure Synapse, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Demonstrated ability to build and navigate complex partner organisations - you know how to work with GSI practice leads, cloud alliance teams and C-suite stakeholders, and you're equally confident in a technical deep-dive and an executive briefing
A natural enabler with a bias for action - you get energy from teaching and uplifting others, you manage multiple partner programmes simultaneously without losing quality, and you thrive in a high-autonomy environment
Commercially aware and technically opinionated - you can go deep on architecture and zoom out to business impact, and you bring conviction to every conversation while remaining genuinely collaborative

We’re looking for a highly strategic and hands-on Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market strategy and narrative for Rippling Data Cloud.
With the launch of Data Cloud, we are fundamentally changing how companies interact with their business and people data. We are offering a modern data stack natively inside Rippling, while also allowing enterprise customers to seamlessly connect their existing data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.) via zero-copy data access. Layered with Rippling AI, we are empowering every leader to answer complex questions at the intersection of their workforce and their business.
In this role, you will turn Rippling’s groundbreaking data and platform capabilities into compelling stories that inspire customers to act. You will craft the positioning, build the go-to-market engine, enable our sales teams, and launch campaigns that connect deep technical innovation to everyday customer outcomes. The ideal candidate is both a visionary storyteller and a rigorous analytical thinker who can uncover customer insights, write persuasive copy spanning both technical and non-technical audiences, and drive measurable product adoption at scale.
What you will do
Own Positioning, Messaging, and Go-to-Market
Develop and refine the core messaging framework that positions Rippling as a unified solution connecting a company's data stack with its employee graph and governance model.
Tailor the "Two paths, one platform" narrative for diverse buyer personas, from technical data/IT teams evaluating infrastructure to HR and business leaders looking for actionable insights.
Partner with GTM, brand, and product leadership to design and execute high-impact launch strategies for Data Cloud features, BI/Analytics updates, and AI capabilities.
Enable Sales and Drive Revenue
Build high-impact sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, battlecards, competitive intelligence, and one-pagers.
Train the global sales organization on how to effectively pitch Data Cloud, handle objections (e.g., "Why not just pipe Rippling data into Snowflake?"), and navigate complex technical evaluations.
Support customer and field marketing with tailored assets for distinct audiences, industries, and company sizes.
Build and Own the Data Cloud Use Case Library
Develop a robust library of real-world use cases that show how Data Cloud solves complex problems (e.g., correlating CS attrition with Zendesk ticket volume, or triggering Salesforce commissions directly into payroll).
Maintain and continuously expand the library with new examples that make cross-system automations and AI-generated insights tangible and inspiring for both prospects and existing customers.
Create High-Impact Marketing & Product Content
Write and produce compelling product content—from landing pages and demo videos to technical blog posts and email campaigns—that brings Rippling Data Cloud to life.
Translate complex architectural features (data pipelines, transformations, zero-copy architecture) into creative, benefit-driven content that converts.
Launch scalable initiatives like "Automation of the Day" videos, AI use-case leaderboards, and recognition programs celebrating customer innovation.
What you will need
8–10+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or GTM strategy at a fast-paced B2B SaaS company.
Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to translate complex, technical concepts into accessible, value-driven messaging.
Deep experience partnering with Sales, Product, and Demand Generation teams to drive full-funnel GTM campaigns and zero-to-one product launches.
Proven track record of building pitch decks and sales materials that directly accelerate revenue and win rates.
Data-informed and experiment-driven mindset with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from concept through optimization.
A growth mindset, high autonomy, and an eagerness to continuously test, learn, and iterate.
Bonus points
Experience marketing data products, BI tools, analytics platforms, or the "modern data stack" (Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, etc.).
Familiarity with navigating dual-audience messaging (marketing to both technical data engineers/IT and non-technical HR/business leaders).
A strong portfolio demonstrating creative execution across product launches, sales enablement, and compelling video/written content.
Experience building or marketing libraries of customer use cases, custom dashboards, or automation ideas.

This is all becoming even more important in the era of AI, where merchant’s agents need the right access to, and understanding of, Stripe’s data. The Data Products team exists to answer those questions — at any scale, for any business. We build the products that turn Stripe's rich transaction data into understanding and action: Sigma for deep SQL-powered analytics, Stripe Data Pipeline for delivering Stripe data directly into merchants' own warehouses and applications, and databases for surfacing the right insight, in context, right inside the Dashboard. Our users range from a founder running their first revenue report to an enterprise finance team reconciling millions of transactions across dozens of markets, to any agent working on a merchant’s behalf. About Mixpanel
Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform, trusted by more than 29,000 companies to help understand how people use the products they build. By combining powerful analytics with AI that knows your business, Mixpanel helps teams see what’s working, diagnose what’s not, and decide what to build next. Learn more at mixpanel.com.
About the Team
The Strategic Alliances team is small, fast, and outcome-oriented - not a program or account mapping factory. We spearhead the identification, investigation, development and execution of initiatives & partnerships aimed at moving the needle for some of Mixpanel’s most strategic levers. As Mixpanel continues its evolution, this team is at the forefront of defining our new ecosystem realities and opportunities, particularly within the emerging spaces in, and enabled by, AI. LLM’s, Vibecoders and MCP Servers and their adjacencies are our workspace.
About the Role
You'll own a portfolio of partner opportunities and sourcing of structural deals — embedded distribution, revenue share, API embedding, committed co-sell — with the companies defining how AI-native software gets built and distributed (think Snowflake, Stripe, Anthropic, Google, Glean and Replit) and target new relationships, owning first conversation through execution. You’ll also provide due diligence support for in-flight opportunities. You need to be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to translate company priorities into a set of actionable and achievable partnerships. You will work closely with stakeholders and senior leadership across Product & Engineering, Marketing, Channel and Sales teams to ensure tight alignment and smooth execution - to be successful, you will need a track record of this collaboration with quantifiable outcomes.
Responsibilities
End-to-end ownership of a set of strategic partnerships with LLMs, Hyperscalers, AI developer tools, data platforms and niche providers who can fill product gaps.
Market analysis and due diligence, with emphasis on quantitative support for new partnerships and market entries.
Deal structuring and negotiation: term sheets, rev share, data licensing, API embedding, pipeline and revenue commitments
Expand and elevate Mixpanel exposure within our newest strategic partners; driving alignment up to, and including, C-level relationships
Work closely with Channel & Enablement teams seamless handoffs, as needed, around GTM execution: co-sell motions, joint pipeline, co-marketing in service of revenue or branding
Inbound partner management — screen fast, route correctly, don't let it become a distraction
Own the room with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal to close and activate partnerships
Design and execute unique playbooks with partners with aligned, committed outcomes; not a rinse and repeat of collateral creation, account mapping and team socialization
Collaborate with marketing & demand gen teams to launch partnerships and campaigns designed to spread awareness and drive pipeline
Define and evangelize the value proposition with partners; what are we doing together, why and who should care; Product Marketing is there for support, but this is yours to own.
We’re Looking for Someone with
8+ years of professional experience with minimum of 5+ in strategic technology partnerships, alliances, or corp dev; ideally at a hyperscaler, high-growth SaaS, or with a consulting/banking background before going operator
Track record of having closed deals with real structure: you've negotiated terms, not just managed relationships
Fluency in the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Supabase) and the AI developer ecosystem (LLM platforms, agentics frameworks, vibe-coding tools, MCP Servers)
Technically fluent enough to hold a credible conversation with a CPO or platform team; commercial enough to close; your job is not to set meetings
Innate sense of urgency and prioritization; fast qualification, clear POV, no committee thinking
Exceptional communication skills; creates executive-level deliverables that are outcome-first, data-backed, decision-ready
Hands-on experience with AI; you’ve moved beyond chat interfaces and built something, shipped something, or broken something trying. You understand what developers actually experience when they evaluate a platform, and you can hold a credible technical conversation because of it, not despite your role.
Ability to operate and create structure within ambiguity; our scope of impact is broad and strategic - you need to be able to translate company goals into executable initiatives and be able to clearly articulate that connection; you won’t have a quota and systems to execute against
Exceptional cross-functional leadership and the ability to command the room and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales/GTM, Legal, and Channel organizations.
Strong executive presence, negotiation capability, and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Bonus Points For
MBA or other advanced business degree, JD or engineering degree.
Previous experience in management or strategy consulting.
Experience partnering with Snowflake, Databricks or GCP, Anthropic and others across the AI space.
Hands-on experience with Mixpanel; able to connect the dots on partner opportunities
Sold or partnered in a product-led growth context
Built or shipped an integration — you know what it actually takes

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.
An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?
We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
