Joining Fervo’s Subsurface organization means operating at the intersection of geology, engineering, and real-world execution where data-driven decisions directly shape development outcomes.We are seeking a Geologist who is excited by Fervo’s mission and motivated to support the design, planning, and execution of large-scale geothermal developments. This role is ideal for a geologist with operational experience, strong technical fundamentals, and a desire to grow into increasing technical and execution responsibility within a highly collaborative environment.The Geologist supports wellfield design, planning, and execution activities across Fervo’s geothermal development portfolio. This role contributes to subsurface characterization, geologic modeling, and operational decision-making during drilling, completion, and testing activities.Working closely with senior geologists, reservoir engineers, geophysicists, and drilling and completions teams, the Geologist integrates geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to build and maintain conceptual and three-dimensional geologic models. Success in this role requires curiosity, strong communication skills, comfort working in data-rich and execution-heavy environments, and a willingness to engage directly with field operations.
