Your role As a Manager, Accounts Payable and Expense, you’ll own full cycle AP and T&E operations across multiple U.S. and international entities, ensuring timely and accurate payments, strong controls, and continuous process improvements.  You’ll work closely with the Accounting team to support monthly, quarterly and year-end close, annual audit, and AI transformation initiatives.  This is a high-impact role to scale our global AP functions through AI transformation, system improvements and enhanced internal controls. This position reports to our Sr. Accounting Manager and has the opportunity to be based in one of our hubs, including San Ramon, CA. What you’ll do  Manage global AP and T&E operations, including vendor management, invoice processing, payment execution, and employee reimbursements across our U.S. and international entities. Manage our corporate credit card programs. Manage vendor relations, serving as the primary escalation point for internal and external inquiries. Manage month-end AP close process, reconcile discrepancies and provide resolutions, to ensure completeness and accuracy of AP balances across all entities.  Partner with the Accounting team on vendor accruals, and perform flux analysis for assigned accounts at month-end and quarter-end. Supervise and mentor the AP team, acting as a hands-on team leader and backup when needed. Assist with implementing and adopting new systems and processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls. Manage U.S. 1099 Reporting and partner with external accounting providers for jurisdictional compliance matters. Maintain audit-ready AP documentation, supporting external auditors with AP related requests, and contribute to strong adherence of internal controls. Assist with vendor payments forecasting for cash flow management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, FP&A, and Procurement to resolve issues and improve end-to-end process through an AI-first lens. Skills you’ll bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, including at least 2 years in a people manager role. Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency AP operations. NetSuite or other ERP experience required; Experiences with ZIP, Bill.com, Brex or similar software strongly preferred. Process-minded and curious, with experience leveraging AI and AP automation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills  Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
