We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded professional to lead category growth while driving the development of innovative ready-to-heat food products. In this role, you'll own both the commercial performance of your category and the end-to-end product development journey, working closely with cross-functional teams to create products that customers love. Job Description As our Astronaut, your missions are: Category Strategy & Growth Own and drive the performance of assigned product categories, managing both existing and new product portfolios. Develop category growth strategies by identifying market opportunities, consumer needs, and competitive advantages. Conduct market research to validate product-market fit and define customer segments, pricing strategy, COGS, unique selling propositions, and go-to-market plans. Monitor key business metrics including GMV, Days of Inventory (DOI), Out-of-Stock (OOS), and market share to ensure healthy business performance. Analyze sales trends, pricing movements, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Lead weekly and monthly business reviews with key stakeholders and recommend actionable improvements. New Product Development (NPD) Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept generation through commercialization. Drive product ideation, R&D collaboration, packaging development, costing, pricing, product listing, and launch execution. Ensure successful product launches by coordinating closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Pricing, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams. Monitor project timelines, launch readiness, and post-launch performance to ensure successful execution. Manage and mentor NPD Associates, providing guidance to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Job Requirements: In order to launch the missions successfully, you need to have: Bachelor's Degree with 3-4 years of experience in Product Development or Research & Development (R&D) within the Food & Beverage industry. Strong knowledge of food formulation, sensory evaluation, food manufacturing, and commercialization processes. Experience developing ready-to-heat or convenience food products is highly preferred. Proven track record of successfully launching commercially viable food products from concept to market. Passionate about food, cooking, and culinary innovation, with a strong understanding of emerging consumer and market trends. Commercially minded with the ability to balance product quality, consumer appeal, cost efficiency, and scalability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting business and consumer data. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for experimenting, tasting, and continuously improving products.
