Job Description
Function: Software Engineering → Backend Development

Responsibilities:
Build, own and maintain backend data infrastructure.
Design and implement database and storage solutions that fit the needs for both data transaction and reporting.
Build a highly scalable and robust backend architecture from the ground up.
Test, debug and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
Must-Have Distributed Systems Experience.
2+ years building and scaling distributed systems handling > 5K concurrent requests in production.
Hands-on experience with microservices decomposition from monolithic architectures under live traffic.
Production experience with service mesh technologies and container orchestration at scale.
Deep understanding of database sharding, replication, and distributed transaction management.
Hands-on experience with CDN optimisation and edge computing for global/multi-region deployments.
Proven ability to optimise systems, achieving less than 100 ms P99 latency for critical user-facing operations.
