About the Team

In this role, you'll be joining the Retail team. The Retail team spans across 7 brick and mortar showrooms and over 35 Nordstrom locations, all crucial to supporting our customers. This team specializes in looking at the diverse needs of our customers and uses their expertise to meet people where they are, guide them where they want to be, and seamlessly solve problems along the way. Our retail team ensures our customers have the support they need to become the best version of themselves.

This is a temporary/interim, hourly, non-exempt position based in California, anticipated to last approximately 3–8+ months depending on business needs. The hourly rate for this role is $30-$32/hour, based on experience, in compliance with California's pay transparency requirements.

As a non-exempt employee in California, this role is eligible for:

• Overtime pay at 1.5x the regular rate for hours worked beyond 8 in a single workday or 40 in a single workweek, and for the first 8 hours worked on the 7th consecutive day in a workweek

• Double-time pay at 2x the regular rate for hours worked beyond 12 in a single workday, or beyond 8 hours on the 7th consecutive day in a workweek

• Meal and rest breaks as required under California law (a 30-minute unpaid meal break for shifts over 5 hours, a second meal break for shifts over 10 hours, and paid 10-minute rest breaks for each 4 hours worked)

What You'll Do

To further this important mission, we are looking for an engaging Showroom Manager to help us drive sales performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.. The team member will partner with the Retail leadership to develop a high performing team, execute operational excellence, and achieve showroom performance goals. . In this role, you will focus on executing processes and procedures that ensure  the showroom exceeds performance targets, and maintains brand consistency. This role will be based out of our Santa Monica Showroom.
