Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Own and secure cloud infrastructure and internal platforms.
• Design and implement security guardrails across IAM, networking, secrets, encryption, and logging.
• Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations proactively.
• Perform penetration testing and adversarial security testing on infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines and partner closely with engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure security.
• Strong proficiency in AWS, GCP, or Azure security practices.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing and threat modelling.
• Exposure to securing APIs and cloud-native services.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, networking, logging, and secrets management.
• Bonus: Experience with SOC 2 HIPAA, or regulated environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Python or Bash scripting for security automation.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of real-world attack paths.
• Ability to work independently with a high ownership mindset.
