Job Description Function: Software Engineering → Mobile Development React Native TypeScript JavaScript SQL Chatbots Finance +6 more iOS Android Swift Kotlin C++ React.js We are looking for an exceptional React Native Engineer to own the entire mobile experience and client-side AI interface for Dhruva. You won't just be building static screens; you will own the end-to-end mobile execution stack from low-latency streaming user interactions to complex, dynamic UI orchestration for real-time AI negotiations. Responsibilities: AI Inference and Streaming UI: Architect real-time, bi-directional communication layers (WebSockets, server-sent events, or gRPC) to stream Dhruva's AI negotiations smoothly to mobile devices with sub-second latency. Polymorphic and Dynamic UI Engine: Design flexible, data-driven dynamic UI components capable of rendering custom financial widgets, interactive negotiation flows, and multi-step repayment paths pushed on-the-fly by AI agents. Offline-First and Local Persistence: Implement robust, secure local caching, state management, and offline queueing (using MMKV, WatermelonDB, SQLite, etc. ) to ensure reliable interaction flows across varying network conditions in India. Performance at Scale: Optimise React Native JavaScript/TypeScript thread performance, frame rates (60/120 FPS), memory usage, and bundle sizes for seamless performance across low-to-mid-tier Android devices. Bridge Native and JS Layers: Write custom native modules (Swift / Kotlin / C++) when required for background task management, native payment SDK integration, or deep OS-level notifications. Requirements: Core Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience building, scaling, and publishing high-performance consumer apps in React Native (Android and iOS). Deep React Native Internals: Strong understanding of the React Native architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, JSI, and Reanimated v3 state management engines). Real-Time Data Architectures: Proven experience handling complex state management, event-driven architectures, streaming protocols, and offline synchronisation. Product Sense and Polish: Obsession with smooth micro-interactions, layout animations, and sub-100ms UI responsiveness in financial/AI conversational interfaces. High-Ownership Mindset: Thrives in a fast-paced, in-office startup environment where you own outcomes end-to-end. Bonus Points: Experience building AI-native conversational interfaces or streaming chatbot UIs. Background in fintech, payments, or banking SDK integrations (UPI, AutoPay, recurring mandates). Familiarity with native mobile development (Kotlin/Android or Swift/iOS).
